Blood Oath
Chapter I: The city that held its breath

Hello, my dear reader this my second story I've been improving on it hope you like it. Enjoy
Seoul did not sleep.
It merely pretended to.
Beneath the lights and glass towers, the city moved to a quieter rhythm—measured in bribes, gun fire muffled by concrete, and names spoken only once before being forgotten forever.
Two empires kept that distance.
North belonged to 𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗧𝗮𝗲𝗵𝘆𝘂𝗻𝗴
South belonged to 𝗝𝗲𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗸
No one remembered how the border was drawn. Only crossing it meant death.
Taehyung ruled like a mathematician. Every loss calculated. Every execution justified. An 𝗘𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮, born without the hunger to submit or the instinct to kneel. His presence alone unsettled Alphas and Betas alike—not loud, not aggressive, just inevitable.
Men said if you met his eyes, you felt dissected.
Jungkook ruled like a storm contained in a human body. A 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮 dominance etched into his bones. Loyal to the core, ruthless when betrayed. His people loved him the way soldiers love a war they believe in.
Neither man wanted peace.
They wanted 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹
And for ten years, they avoided each other.
Until fate decided that avoidance was no longer an option.
The rooftop was neutral territory.
Which meant bloodshed was forbidden.
Taehyung arrived first.
Black coat, no umbrella. Rain sliding down his jaw like it knew better than to linger. He checked his watch, already irritated. Whoever had called this meeting was late—or dead.
Then the air changed.
It wasn't a sound.
It was pressure.
Alpha.
Taehyung didn't turn around. He didn't need to.

“You're standing on borrowed concrete,” he said calmly.
𝑱𝒆𝒐𝒏 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒐𝒌 [𝑻𝑩𝑨]
A low chuckle followed. “Funny. I was thinking the same thing.”
Jungkook stepped into view, rain plastering dark hair to his forehead. He smelled like iron and smoke and something older—something that made Taehyung’s instincts flare violently for the first time in his life.
Their eyes met.
The city seemed to pause.
This wasn’t hatred.
This was recognition.
𝑱𝒆𝒐𝒏 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒐𝒌 [𝑻𝑩𝑨]
“You’re Kim Taehyung,” Jungkook said. Not a question.
𝑲𝒊𝒎 𝑻𝒂𝒆𝒉𝒚𝒖𝒏𝒈 [𝑬𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒂]
“And you’re further south than you should be,” Taehyung replied.
Neither reached for a weapon.
That alone was a mistake.

The city survived because two monsters agreed not to look at each other too closely.
Some wars don’t begin with violence—they begin with recognition.
He did not fear the Alpha’s strength. He feared the silence inside himself when their eyes met.

Chapter II: Aftershocks

Hello, we're in and back for another story. So please answer your attendance if you're new to my stories
Nothing happened that night.
No gunfire.
No blood.
And yet—
By morning, Taehyung found himself replaying the Alpha’s voice in his head. Calm. Amused. Unafraid.
Unacceptable.
Enigmas were not affected by Alphas. Biology said so. History proved it. Taehyung had broken stronger men without a flicker of interest.
So why—
𝑲𝒊𝒎 𝑻𝒂𝒆𝒉𝒚𝒖𝒏𝒈 [𝑬𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒂]
“Get a grip,” he muttered to himself, crushing a cigarette he hadn’t realized he lit.
Across the city, Jungkook was doing much worse.
His temper snapped at shadows. His wolves noticed. His beta noticed.
𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑱𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒏[𝑹𝒂𝒓𝒆𝑶𝒎𝒆𝒈𝒂]
“You met him,” the Omega said carefully.
𝑱𝒆𝒐𝒏 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒐𝒌 [𝑻𝑩𝑨]
“He didn’t submit,” Jungkook said slowly. “Didn’t challenge me either.”
That disturbed him more than resistance ever could.
The first strike came a week later.
Jungkook’s convoy vanished near the river. No survivors. No witnesses. Clean.
Too clean.
Jungkook knew instantly who it was.
Taehyung received the message an hour later—one of his safe housess hit, a warning carved into steel.
They didn’t contact each other.
They escalated.
But beneath every move, there was restraint. Each attack avoided being
fatal. Each retaliation pulled back at the last second.
Their men noticed.
𝑴𝒊𝒏 𝒀𝒐𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒊[𝑫𝑨]]
“You could’ve ended him,” his right-hand man, Yoongi, said to Taehyung
𝑲𝒊𝒎 𝑻𝒂𝒆𝒉𝒚𝒖𝒏𝒈 [𝑬𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒂]
Taehyung’s eyes went cold. “I decide when endings happen.”
The city whispered in shadows.
Taehyung felt it before his men even called it in—an anomaly, subtle but deliberate. A shipment missing, not stolen, but redirected. Someone had been watching, calculating.
It wasn’t the first time he’d been crossed, and it wouldn’t be the last. What made this different was the precision. Whoever did this wasn’t sloppy. Whoever did this knew exactly what they were doing.
His fingers tapped the edge of the glass desk. Cold. Smooth. Controlled.
𝑴𝒊𝒏 𝒀𝒐𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒊[𝑫𝑨]]
“North-side shipment—gone,” Yoongi reported, voice cautious. “No one saw who took it. It disappeared before the men even arrived.”
Taehyung didn’t answer. His mind already traced the pattern. The handwriting was unmistakable.
Alpha.
Jungkook.
Not because Taehyung recognized him by name—he’d known of Jungkook for years—but because only a true-blood Alpha could move like this: precise, unapologetic, lethal without leaving chaos. Every other rival left a trail. Jungkook left silence.
𝑲𝒊𝒎 𝑻𝒂𝒆𝒉𝒚𝒖𝒏𝒈 [𝑬𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒂]
“Prepare countermeasures,” Taehyung finally said. “But do not retaliate yet. I want to see how far he’s willing to go.”
𝑴𝒊𝒏 𝒀𝒐𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒊[𝑫𝑨]]
“Yes, boss,” Yoongi said, hesitant.
It was dangerous, letting the Alpha think he was ahead, but that was the thrill of it.
Meanwhile, in the south, Jungkook leaned over a table littered with maps and reports.
𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑱𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒏[𝑹𝒂𝒓𝒆𝑶𝒎𝒆𝒈𝒂]
“They noticed,” Jimin said, watching him from the corner.
Jungkook didn’t reply. Not immediately. His fingers hovered over one map, tracing the shipment routes with a faint scar-like precision.
𝑱𝒆𝒐𝒏 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒐𝒌 [𝑻𝑩𝑨]
“They always notice,” he said finally, voice low, thoughtful. “That’s why I did it.”
𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑱𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒏[𝑹𝒂𝒓𝒆𝑶𝒎𝒆𝒈𝒂]
The Jimin’s brow furrowed. “You’re playing with the Enigma. He doesn’t forgive mistakes.”
𝑱𝒆𝒐𝒏 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒐𝒌 [𝑻𝑩𝑨]
Jungkook’s lips curved, faint but sharp. “Neither do I.”
And that was the problem.

Some borders are drawn in blood long before anyone remembers why.
An Enigma does not watch for threats. He anticipates them. An Alpha does not need permission. He needs certainty.
The first mistake was curiosity. History often begins quietly.
