It was quite the hit novel in Japan, this year. It was about a hardened Crown prince and a commoner girl with secret divine powers. They met at the Lantern festival held in the Imperial Capital once every year and fall in love. He also had 2 brothers and a nameless sister.
The reason she was nameless, is because her mother, the empress died giving birth to the princess. The princess was born sickly and died at the age of 13. The cure of her rare illness was a flower deep in the mountains, that bloomed once every 10 year. The Emperor could have sent some knights to get the flower,as the year she died was the year the flower bloomed. But he didn't, as he simply didn't care for her.
After 5 years of her death, demons attacked the empire and thousands of people died. The emperor and the second prince were no different. After the Emperor and the Second prince died, The Crown prince became the Emperor. It had a bittersweet ending.
Honestly, Hana didn't quite like the Novel because of the Nameless Princess's ending. Like why the hell would you hate your own sister and daughter because The Empress died giving birth to her.
