Arif and his three friends loved adventure. One rainy night, they decided to enter an abandoned house at the edge of their village. Everyone said it was haunted, but they didn’t believe it.

The moment they stepped inside, the air grew heavy. Their flashlight flickered, though the batteries were new. The wooden floor groaned under their feet.

Suddenly, a woman’s faint laughter echoed through the halls.

They turned toward the sound—

and saw a shadow standing at the end of the corridor.

When Arif raised the flashlight, the shadow disappeared. Only a wet handprint remained on the wall.

The friends wanted to leave, but the front door slammed shut on its own.

And then, from the darkness, a whisper came:

“You shouldn’t have come here…”

The elders gathered courage and went inside with lanterns. The air was icy cold, and the smell of dampness choked them.

Suddenly, one man shouted, “Look!”

On the wall, new handprints had appeared—small, as if a child had pressed them there. The lanterns flickered, and a child’s voice whispered:

“I found my new friends.”

The villagers fled, leaving the boy behind.
