The first scream tore through the courtyard like lightning….high pitched, sharp and breathless. Then another followed, and another, conversations faltered instantly, heads snapped toward the university gates as a ripple of recognition passed through the crowd like electricity jumping from body to body.

The whispered words moved faster than sound, students abandoned their conversations mid-sentence, a girl nearly dropped her tablet and a boy shoved his notebook into his bag without even zipping it.

Phones were raised instinctively, hands trembling with anticipation, then came the roar. Three Porsche engines shattered the mid-morning calm as they rolled past the iron gates. The deep rumble vibrated against the glass windows of nearby buildings.

Sunlight struck their polished bodies, the metal gleaming so brightly it almost hurt to look at, The cars stopped in perfect flawless alignment. For a heartbeat, the campus held its breath. Then the doors opened, the Three Musketeers stepped out.

He moved like a boy who understood the exact weight of the power he carried, his uniform sculpted his frame cleanly….sharp and minimal, yet bold enough to command the entire courtyard. His silhouette was striking, slender but toned, graceful yet strong the very definition of confidence wrapped in elegance. His expression remained calm and almost detached. He did not look at the screaming fans, he didn't need to because he was used to them.

Security guards surrounded them immediately, forming a protective wall as students surged forward. Phones flashed relentlessly, some students live streamed the arrival, sending live feeds straight to thousands of viewers, while others clutched magazines to their chests, eyes shining.

A few simply stood frozen, completely overwhelmed by proximity. The university had transformed, it was no longer a campus, It was a stage and the Three Musketeers crossed it like seasoned performers.

Inside the Art and Entertainment faculty building, the noise softened into echoing waves. The floors reflected their silhouettes as they passed long rows of lockers. Students pressed themselves subtly against the walls to make space, pretending not to stare while staring anyway.

They were nearly at their lecture hall when a deep voice cut through the corridor.

The sound was calm but commanding, all three turned in unison, leaning casually against a row of lockers stood Wang Yibo. He looked relaxed, almost bored but his eyes were focused entirely on Xiao.

She did not hesitate, crossing the distance quickly, she launched herself toward him, he caught her smoothly, steadying her weight before she could lose her balance.

Yobo murmured quietly, xia pouted slightly, though amusement danced clearly in her eyes. As Ziyu and Lui approached, Wang Yibo looked up.

they replied together, smiling politely. For a brief moment, everything felt warm and comfortable. Then, Ziyu suddenly crouched down dramatically right in the middle of the hallway.

he lamented with exaggerated despair, a few nearby students gasped at how absurdly adorable he looked, someone even whispering his name under their breath. Lui knelt beside him, trying to suppress her own laughter as she gently tugged him back up to his feet.

The teasing had been light, but Ziyu's expression changed instantly, his eyes glossed over. He had always been sensitive, especially when the words came from the people he cared about most. Lui noticed the shift immediately.

She stepped closer, wrapping an arm around him protectively while throwing a look across the circle.

Lui said quietly, Xiao's confidence faltered, guilt creeping into her features.

Ziyu sniffed softly, wiping at his eyes with the back of his hand in a stubborn attempt to appear unaffected.

The tension dissolved as quickly as it had formed, Xiao stepped in and hugged him tightly. Lui joined in, wrapping both of them in her arms. It was a simple embrace, warm, familiar and protective. Across the hallway, students watched the display in sheer fascination.

Some recorded the moment discreetly, others nudged their friends and a few jealous girlfriends smacked their boyfriends for staring just a little too long.

Wang Yibo remained leaning against the locker, observing the trio with quiet amusement. They were famous, they were admired and also envied. But one of them was his.

The bell of Beijing University chimed….Its echo rolled across the vast campus like the closing note, doors swung open instantly and the sudden thunder of footsteps and spilled laughter filled the corridors.

The academic day had officially ended, but for the elite, the night was only beginning. Students flooded the outdoor walkways in restless waves, but the trio headed straight for their usual spot: the garage. Even there, fans lined the perimeter.

Cameras flashed relentlessly and paparazzi called out their names like desperate prayers. Yet, the three walked through the chaos entirely untouched, composed, effortless and untouchable. Car doors opened and engines purred to life.

Three cars slid out of the university grounds in a flawless line, gliding down the boulevard like royalty departing a coronation.They arrived at the university's cafeteria, which shimmered under the glow of chandeliers, polished floors and ornate gold trim. Even in this high end space, a crowd had gathered, and whispers followed them the moment they stepped inside.

Ignoring the murmurs, they walked straight to the VIP section. A waiter approached with careful reverence, sporting a nervous smile and slightly trembling hands, politely requesting an autograph before taking their orders. Ziyu signed it smoothly and the three of them laughed softly at how flustered the staff appeared.

Once the food was ordered, a comfortable familiar silence settled over the table.

Xiao Zhan’s voice cut through the quiet, playful amusement dancing in her eyes.

Ziyu lifted his gaze from his phone, curious, while Liu Xuan leaned back lazily, his lips curving into a smirk.

Ziyu’s head snapped toward him in pure dramatic horror, the look on his face was as if Liu Xuan had just risen from a grave. Liu Xuan blinked innocently.

Ziyu shot back, his eyes narrowing as he leaned forward.

Liu Xuan rolled his eyes dramatically.

Before the bickering could escalate, Xiao Zhan’s eyes sparkled with a new idea.

The option was tempting, Ziyu hesitated, crossing his arms as he thought it over.

Xiao Zhan waved a hand dismissively.

Liu Xuan teased, nodding in agreement with Xiao.

After a short pause, Ziyu gave a reluctant adorable nod.

Xiao Zhan clapped her hands once, thrilled.

Liu Xuan echoed the excitement just as dramatically, while Ziyu shook his head, smiling despite himself.

Ziyu suggested, sealing the agreement. The rest of their food arrived exactly four minutes later, for the next thirty minutes, they ate, hummed in appreciation and shared a familiar chaos of laughter and gossip before finally heading home. They parted ways, unaware that tonight, a long standing record was about to be broken.

TIME SKIPPED

When the grand mansion of the Zheng’s gates swung open, Ziyu stepped out of his car like a true diva, tossing his keys effortlessly to a security guard without breaking stride. Inside, the staircase curved upward like a royal invitation.

Even though his parents loved him unconditionally and supported his independence without argument, his nanny was his rock.

she said warmly.

Ziyu paused midway up the stairs, looking back.

By the time 9:00 PM rolled around, Ziyu was still trapped in front of his vanity.

As the footsteps faded, Ziyu turned back to the mirror, he glided a coat of gloss over his soft smooth lips. After six more minutes of final touches, he stepped back to study the results.

He hadn't tried too hard…..he never needed to, given his effortless beauty, but the subtle polish was breathtaking. Satisfied, he grabbed his bag and strode confidently downstairs.

Each step was graceful and measured, his heels clicking lightly against the polished floor, announcing his arrival like a model gliding across a high fashion runway.

On the sofa sat his two best friends, looking as elegant and composed as ever, their eyes lit up the moment they saw him, their smiles bright enough to illuminate the entire room.

Xiao Zhan exclaimed, throwing her hands up dramatically. Ziyu's cheeks heated up instantly.

But tonight, they chose to ignore it all, they understood the chaos they had just unleashed, and they recognized the heads turning but none of that mattered. Tonight, the club was not about the stares, the gasps or the murmurs trailing behind them…..it was entirely about them.

This was a night of freedom from lectures, assignments, deadlines and the suffocating pressures of university life. It was a night where they could breathe freely without expectations weighing heavily on their shoulders, a night to laugh loudly and exist unapologetically on their own terms.

His aura screamed dominance, intensified by an all black appearance that sharpened every clean line of his figure. A cigarette rested between his lips, smoke curling lazily into the crisp night air as he exhaled without the slightest concern for his surroundings. The dim exterior lights of the club caught against his dark hair, tracing the sharp angles of his jawline and brushing faintly across the subtle glint in his eyes. In that fractured illumination, he seemed almost unreal….like a shadowed prince observing the chaos of the crowd from afar, detached, composed and aware of the effect he had without ever trying to claim it.

Yet, the look on his face was entirely blank. Cold and unreadable. His expression silently declared that he did not want to be there at all, crowded places had never suited him. Despite his overwhelming presence, a deep discomfort lingered just beneath the surface.

He preferred looking simple, understated and almost invisible. He understood very well what happened whenever he dressed too well, attention swarmed him mercilessly, especially from girls who mistook his silence for invitation and his stillness for availability.

But tonight was not his choice. His devil of a friend had dragged him out, even insisting he dress exactly like this, judging by the rigid tension in his jaw and the smoke leaving his lips a little sharper than necessary, he disliked every single second of it.

Beside him stood his counterpart, while the first moved with the effortless grace of a main lead….fluid and luminous beneath the flashing lights….the other carried himself like the second lead character in a drama who never gets to claim the first love, but somehow manages to steal every single scene he steps into.

His presence alone demanded attention, not loudly or desperately, but undeniably, draped in his own all black outfit, the sharp lines of his tailored jacket and perfectly fitted trousers accentuated the breadth of his shoulders and the narrow cut of his waist, sculpting him into something almost intimidating in its precision.

He looked untouchably elegant, every inch of him radiated quiet power and a deeply restrained charisma. The dim exterior lights of the club caught against his dark hair, tracing the sharp angles of his jawline and brushing faintly across the subtle glint in his eyes.

All this time, Zhan Xuan had been pleading and negotiating with the bouncer, desperately trying to find even the smallest loophole that would allow them inside. He only had a single membership card, a gift from a secretive unnamed benefactor who preferred to remain hidden deep in the shadows.

Now, he had to figure out how to get his best friend in without raising immediate suspicion. The bouncer stood like an immovable wall, a towering figure with a face carved from stone and arms crossed like iron bars guarding a fortress, he remained completely unmoved by every bribe and polite plea.

Tian leaned casually against the wall, his cigarette balanced lazily between his fingers, seemingly unbothered by the tense standoff unfolding before him. Smoke curled slowly around his silhouette, framing a smirk that reeked of pure effortless nonchalance.

Xuan begged openly, his face scrunched in desperation as he tried every possible angle…..flattery, bribery and pleading eyes that bordered on a dramatic performance.

The bouncer did not move an inch, he simply shook his head, his expression cold enough to freeze fire itself. Xuan opened his mouth to launch into another negotiation, but before he could speak, Tian flicked his cigarette butt aside with a careless snap of his fingers.

He stepped forward, closed the distance and leaned toward the towering bouncer. He whispered something so quietly, yet with such calmly confident malice that within seconds the giant of a man straightened up and stepped aside without another word. Just like that, the path was clear. Xuan's jaw dropped.

He blinked once, then twice, caught between disbelief and pure awe, he did not dare ask how it happened….not yet. Right now, the only thing that mattered was that the club doors were open. With a sharp thrilled inhale, he hurried after his friend, his heart pounding wildly against his ribs as they were swallowed by the flashing lights and overwhelming music.

Once they were fully inside the venue, Xuan turned toward him, curiosity burning bright in his eyes.

Xuan could no longer hold back his laughter, the sound burst from him freely, echoing lightly through the grand entrance of the club. Tian had just effortlessly manipulated a mountain of a bouncer with nothing more than a casual whispered threat, and the ease of it was almost ridiculous.

Xuan gasped, clutching his stomach as his shoulders shook uncontrollably.

Tian as always remained composed. His smirk hovered on his lips….slow and almost predatory…..while a flicker of pride glinted in his dark sharp eyes. He savored Xuan's reaction without granting him the satisfaction of open amusement. He did not need to laugh, he already knew his own power. Then, Xuan lifted his head and froze.

All eyes in the club were suddenly on them. Every single head had turned….from girls to boys, from young adults to grown women, they stared openly, some nearly drooling, while others whispered frantically behind cupped hands.

Nobody could look away, the aura surrounding the two alpha looking men was overpowering and almost suffocating. Every subtle movement, every tilt of their shoulders and every casual glance exuded raw magnetism and dominance. Xuan leaned toward Tian, a wicked grin spreading across his face as he lowered his voice.

Tian's smirk widened slightly, completely unbothered by the attention flooding toward them from every direction. He let the energy wash over them, acknowledging and accepting it as something entirely natural. In this space, they were kings.

With a confident effortless stride, they made their way toward the largest sofa in the VIP section. Heads continued to turn and whispers fluttered restlessly behind them as eyes followed their every step.

They sat down with command, their legs spread in a relaxed unapologetically alpha posture. They did not rush nor apologize for the space they occupied. Every movement was a silent proclamation of dominance in a world that could not stop watching them.

Lui warned, attempting to keep a protective eye on his friend.But Ziyu was caught up in the music, he drifted toward Xiao who was equally unrestrained, dancing as though the world outside did not exist.

Ziyu announced, giving a small smile that tested Lui's patience.With a resigned sigh, Lui checked the time and prepared to coordinate their departure later.

Lui offered, already stepping closer to guide Ziyu through the crowd.

Ziyu interrupted, moving toward the shifting crowd.Lui’s eyes followed him, protective and steady until Ziyu disappeared into the mass of bodies and flashing lights.

Ziyu felt the fatigue of the long night as he walked. Wobbling slightly, he found the restroom and took a moment to regain his composure, his steps remained a bit unsteady as he turned to leave, his balance still affected by the late hour and the excitement of the evening.

Then, as he rounded the corner to exit, he collided heavily with someone.Ziyu's body tilted dangerously off balance and the floor seemed to rush upward. But before he could fall, a firm unyielding hold wrapped securely around him. The strength of that grip grounded him instantly….steady and powerful.

He was caught in a broad secure embrace that radiated quiet authority.Slowly, Ziyu lifted his gaze, the eyes that met his were piercing and deep. Ziyu felt a sudden surge of awareness as a shiver traced down his spine, his heart racing beneath the presence of the person holding him.

The stranger's gaze felt intense, as if he were observing every detail of Ziyu's expression, his brows were drawn together in a way that made his expression unmistakably serious and commanding.

As Ziyu stared, he noticed the subtle details of the man’s face…the sharp features and steady gaze that made it difficult to look away. The man's eyes did not flicker nor did they waver for a single second. It was a rare experience for Ziyu, who was used to people looking away first.
