Ep 1: A warning?

Yuu, slowly wake up and stop the alarms. He rubs his blurry eyes for a moment's then stretching he's sore body. He fell asleep on study table while finishing his homework. Yuu look at his phone showing now is 6:00 A.M.
Yuu
"Thank goodness, all my homework already done." Mumbled to himself.
Afterwards, he wears his uniform after taking shower. He stuffed all he needs for today schedule in bag. He dragging his bag lazily and put on the table. Cooking a simple breakfast.
Yuu
*Sat down, after finish cooking. Eating while look at the phone.*
*SCREECHH~* *SCREECHING~*
Yuu
*Frown but trying to act NORMAL as POSSIBLE.*
Yuu
'GUHH... This stupid spirit is getting annoying. Stop fu**ing stared at me already!!'
Yuu, secretly looks at the back of his body.
Yuu hands twitch a bit in annoyances. Looks like that spirit doesn't realize yet, that Yuu steal a glanced at her.
Yuu
'Huh?! Is she secretly mocking me or what from behind? Darn it! Can't I at least have one peaceful day?'
Yuu sighed heavily before stand up, store the unfinished food in fridge then took his bag. Leaving the dorm as quickly as possible, he can still feels her gaze towards him but ignored it.
He slung his bag on right shoulder and walk to school lazily.
Yuu
"Tch. That spirit makes me lose appetite to eat." He grunt.
Meanwhile, his mind drove back to when he's younger. Yuu always got bullied and people around him will look at him in scared. It's all because of those spirits.
His eyes become cloudy. That time, when he wants to make new friends, every time other kids making contact with him. In the next day, they will disappear for a few days before found either in alleyway or somewhere hidden. But, they're already dead. From that day, others kids will stayed away from him, as far as they could.
Concluding the bullies, Yuu of course wanted to protect himself. Then again, he can't because they'll hurt themselves and excuses him instead. Since, everyone still... Scared of him. They believed in their words.
It's not a pleasant childhoods for him. Yuu knew that it's all those ruthless spirits and ghost fault because weirdly, they didn't attack those bullies. Sometimes, he wondered what did he do wrong to them.
Yuu
*Unconsciously stopped walking at the backyard of the school.*
Nico
"Yo, Yuu! What are you thinking huh?!"
He came out of nowhere and slung his arm on Yuu's shoulder.
Yuu
*Flinched a bit because startled.* "Nico..." He muttered softly.
Yuu
*Look away from him.* "Nothing."
Nico
*Sighing.* "You can't lie to me Yuu. We have been friend since we're 11 years old."
Truth to be told. Now they're 18 year old and in grade 8 high-school. For some reason none of the spirit nor ghosts can touch Nico, that's why he's still alive until now.
Yuu
*Bite he's lower lips.*
Nico
*Stared Yuu's eyes deeply before sighs.*
Nico
"You're thinking about the past again right?"
With that, Nico already knows that is the case.
Nico
"It's not your fault Yuu, stop blaming yourself. People must have forgotten about it and you also need to move on."
Yuu
"I know... It's just-"
Nico put his finger on Yuu lips, stopping him from saying any further.
Nico
"They're still hunting you right? I already said before let me 'send' them somewhere more peaceful but you still refused."
Nico pat his head make him slightly blushing. Yuu will never admit that he secretly saw Nico as big brother but unknown to him. Nico already knew it but doesn't voice it out.
Nico
"You should rely on me more. It's not good for you, carrying heavy burdens. I don't want my lil'brother sick now can't I?"
Yuu
"S-shut up. Who are you calling me 'lil brother'?"
*Crossing his arm.*
Nico
*Chuckled at his tsundere reaction.*
Nico
"No need to be shy around me, Yuu. But I guess it's fine. You look more cute this way. Hahaha!"
Yuu
"I-I'm not cute! Stop saying embarrassing thing!"
Nico
"Nah... You can never change my mind~"
Yuu
*Grunted in irritation as replies.*
Just like that, the tense atmosphere around them cleared up.
Cielo
"Hey, you two! Looks like you having fun Nico. Care to share?"
Aria
"Huff... Must be another fluffy moment between you two."
Nya
"Oh? But I think, they look cute! Especially when we got to see Yuu's rare reactions."
Nico
"Hahahaha! Nothing much really~"
Yuu
*Stared at them blankly.*
Yuu look at his phone. Now is 6:30 A.M. There are not many students arrived yet.
Nya
"Hey! Guess what yesterday, I play Ouija board with some friends! That game is really hunted because the dorm is shaking like crazy!"
Nico
*Nico smiled dropped.*
Aria
"I can't believe you play that hunted game."
With that said, a spirit came out from behind Nya.
Yuu
*Eyes widen in terror.*
Yuu
'That spirit is too strong for me to fight.'
Yuu
*He wanted to run away but he's body staying still.*
Nico
"Yuu?" He called him in worries.
Yuu
"Ah... Haa... T-that-"
Aria
"Hey, are you okay?" She frowned.
Nya
"What's wrong? Why did you react this way?" She asked worriedly.
He wanted to say something but nothing came out from his throat. The others starting to worry about him. It's the first time he react this way. Yuu unconsciously stared at the spirit for too long.
Spirit: SCREECHING~~ YOU SEE ME...
His eyes widening then quickly turns to run away when he's body finally can move but it's already too late for him.
His body stopped and he's head hanging down. The auras around him start to change but they doesn't realize it excluding Nico. He body's trembling once a while.
Nico
"Stay back!" He quickly demand them.
Nya
"W-what? What happened?" She asked panicky.
Nico
"If you don't want to die, stay back." He said coldly.
Mentioned the die word makes them stood still. The first one, to snapped out of it is Cielo. He pulls Nya and Aria's arm back away from Nico.
Nico
*Stayed on guard. He gave cold gaze toward Yuu who already been possess by the spirit.*
Yuu's lifting his head revealing he's eyes that turned completely white. 'He' glared at Nico in returned then slowly at Nya whom flinch at the dark gaze.
Yuu
"SHE IS THE ONE CALLS ME LAST NIGHT. I'M HERE BECAUSE I WANT TO STAY WITH HER."
Nico
"Why would you want to stay with her?" He asked with stern voice.
Yuu
*Dark smiled creeping on his lips.*
Yuu
"BECAUSE SHE IS 'DIFFERENT' THAN OTHER HUMANS."
Nico
"What do you mean by she is 'different'? Don't act dumb. You know darn well, what I'm talking about."
Yuu
"HMM~ THAT BECAUSE SHE IS 'DIFFERENT.' WHEN OTHERS ARE AFRAID OF 'US,' SHE INTERESTED ABOUT 'US.' I JUST MERELY ANSWER HER."
Nico
'Yuu can't fight it because this spirit is on high levels. And the results made him got possess by it. Good thing I'm always train myself.'
The others didn't dare to interrupt them. They doesn't want things will go out of control. But-
Nya
"What do you want from me, you freak?! Leave me alone!"
Yuu
"WHAT WAS THAT HUMAN? HOW DARE YOU INSULT ME, WHEN YOU'RE NOTHING BUT WEAK HUMAN?!"
Nya
"Aahh!!" *Flinched in surprise.*
Nico
*He quickly stopped the spirit from attacking them. Then pushed Yuu's body hard to the ground, pinned him still. One of he's hand stayed on Yuu neck but not hard enough to make him chock.*
Yuu
"GRRH!! CURSED YOU HUMANS!"
Nico
"If you has nothing to say anymore, I will kick you out from his body."
Yuu
"Pfft... AHAHAHA! AHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
The others shivered down their spines. The laughter is so dark and mean.
Yuu
"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING... DON'T YOU DARE ENTER THE FOREST IN THERE IF YOU WANT TO STAY ALIVE!"
Nico
"Why would you warn us? What is your objectives?"
Yuu
"HM? AREN'T YOU HUMANS WILL ALWAYS BROKE THE TABOO? I WANTED TO SEE WETHER YOU FOOLISH HUMANS WILL ENTER IT OR NOT!"
Nico
"Tch. That's it, I already had enough. Disappear you nasty spirit!"
Nico green eyes glow blue then tapped Yuu's chest hard enough to makes 'it' screaming in pain.
Yuu
"AAARGGHH!! JUST YOU WAIT, THEY'LL HUNT HER DOWN-!"
Yuu's eyes slowly change back to his normal hazel. As soon as the spirit disappeared, he lose conscious with sweats rolling down his face. Nico let out relieved breathe as he's eye's turned back to normal.
Cielo
*Open eyes, showing his red-ish eye colour.*
Cielo
"Nico, care to explain, what actually happened?"
Nico
"I will tell you later. Now, let me brought Yuu to infirmary's."
Luckily for them, no students is in the backyard, witnessing the scenes just now or else they'll be in trouble. Nico carry Yuu in bridal style since his weight is light.
The others exchanged glances toward each other before follow Nico from behind.
Nico
'Why would he warn us for? There's something went wrong... The backyard of the school forest is prohibited for students. Is there a connection with that forest?'
Nico keep on wondering silently while looks at Yuu that sweating. As if there's is something disturbing him. Nico humming a soothing song trying to calm him down.
Aria
"I going to tell the teacher that we're not going to class."
Cielo
"Okay, we waiting for you in infirmary."
She replied with 'hm' and they separated to different routes.
Ep 2: Unpleasant Past

The others are waiting for Aria after telling the teachers on duty this week's. They sat on coach while Nico on the bed where Yuu still not concious yet.
Aria
"I already informed the teacher that we're excuses from classes for today because of personal matters."
She said then sat down on the coach next to Cielo.
Cielo
*Open his red eyes. Staring at Nico.*
Cielo
"Now would you kindly care to explain what actually happened just now?"
They can hear Cielo's stressed out at the kindly word.
Nico
"This won't be pleasant to listen. Do you still wanted to know?"
Nya
"Of course, we wanted to know! We don't care wether it pleasant or not."
Nico
"It's going to be long story. Do you mind about it?"
Aria
"And we've whole day for you to tell the story."
Nico stroking he's hair softly to the side when Yuu whimpered in his sleep. He whispered something soothing made Yuu's whimper die down slowly until fell silent. The others can only watching them. After Nico make sure he's okay, he turned to them.
Nico
"Fine. If you all resist."
Nico
"It's all began when we're 11 years old back then-"
Everyone that saw Yuu stay away from him as far as they can. While he's head hanging down, hiding his expression. He just walk back home from school, although there's is not much different of treatment towards him.
Women: "Look it's a demon child."
Kid: "Mom, I'm scared. Don't leave me with that demon."
Women: "I will never leave you with that demon. Let's get away from here."
Man: "Just why the hell, he still staying here?"
Man 2: "Who knows, I hope he die in a brutal way."
Yuu
*Hair covering his face. Biting he's lower lips.*
Kid 1: "Stay away from us you freak!"
Kid 2: "Why are you even still alive?!"
Kid 3: "We will be more happier if you die!"
Yuu
*Run back home as fast as he could. He's tears barely held on from fell.
When he reach home, he lock the door and run to he's room.
He locked up his room door.
Yuu
*Threw himself on bed and curling into a ball.*
The tears he held on from this morning fell. He sobbed in sadness and depressed.
Yuu
"I-it's... Wasn't my... Fault. Hiks... I n-never wanted t-this... Hic... To happened... Hiks..."
Yuu
"Hiks... W-what d-d-did I... Do wrong? Hic... I-I don't understand... Hiks... Anymore..!"
He cried until fell into deep sleep.
Yuu
*Jolted up awoke because suprise of the loud bang from downstairs.*
Yuu slowly climb down from the bed and make his way to he's locks door. He open it slowly not make any sounds, with wary feelings within him. He walks down slowly and look at the kitchen where his parents are fighting with harsh words. Yuu unconsciously whimper silently, he can only watching it in silence.
(Yuu's) Father
"I already said- Hic... I don't want to take care of that demon child anymore! Hic.."
He hiccups with a red face. Beer bottle in his hand stay still.
(Yuu's) Mother
"You! You always like this! I'm the one who always take care of that brat! You doesn't even do anything these past years."
(Yuu's) Father
"AARGH!! Who cares about that child b*****d?! He can die for good!"
(Yuu's) Mother
"You also a b*****d yourself too! You also the one to blamed here! If you become a better father for him, he won't became a murderer nor demon!"
(Yuu's) Father
"Tch! You're the one to talk. You also to blamed b***h! You always thought of works as your first priority!"
(Yuu's) Mother
"WHAT WAS THAT?! I'M TRYING D*RN HARD TO MAKE SURE WE'VE PLACE TO STAYED AND FIND FOODS! YOU DIDN'T GONE TO WORK AT ALL! ALL YOU DO IS GAMBLING AND DRUNK! NOTHING MORE AND NOW YOU BLAMING ME?!"
(Yuu's) Father
"IT'S ALL THAT BRAT FAULTS ANYWAY! IF HE DOESN'T BORN WE WILL BECOME RICH! ALSO WHO SAID GAMBLING DOESN'T GET ANY MONEY HUH?! I'M ALSO WORKING AND THAT B*****D CHILD RUBBING HE'S CRIME TO OUR FACE! WHOSE FAULT WAS THAT HUH?!"
Yuu knew that all those harsh words actually towards him. He closed his mouth using both hands to keep voice low down. Once again he cries but this time in silent, Yuu tried to get out of there as silent as possible. He doesn't want them to know that he actually eavesdropping.
Unfortunately, there is a loud bang on the kitchen door made them stopped their arguments. Yuu pale when he saw a white slender ghost, grinned with illness to him. As if the ghost wanted him to get bursts.
Yuu quickly hide behind the staircase nearby, luckily they doesn't realize his presence. That didn't mean he will let out relief because his parents are almost near him.
Yuu
*Held breathe in anxious.*
(Yuu's) Father
"What the hell was that sound?"
Yuu starting to trembling when his father's standing, where he's hiding place. All he can do is close his eyes tightly because he already trapped. He doesn't have any chance to run away now.
(Yuu's) Father
"You! What the hell are you doing here?!"
Yuu
*Tremble in scared. Still closing he's eyes.*
Yuu
*Silently gasped and stood still. Hair hiding he's expression.*
(Yuu's) Mother
"What? What's going on-? Yuu, what are you doing here?" Ask in soft tone.
Yuu
*Head hanging down. Can't find any words.*
(Yuu's) Father
"Tch! I bet this demon already heard our conversations. How dare you eavesdropping on us?! Who do you think you're huh?!"
Yuu
*Keep silent although he's face is hurting because of rough slapped.*
Yuu
'Yelling and shouting... You called that conversation?' He thought with a blank face.
(Yuu's) Mother
"That's enough!"
(Yuu's) Father
"Enough? Come on, don't make me laugh. You also want to beat him up didn't you? He rubs his crimes on our good named!"
(Yuu's) Mother
"Tch! So what? I'm tired of this s***!"
She roughly tug he's hair make him whimper in pain. He's face stills hurting from those hard slaps. She forcefully brought him to dinning room and shove him to the floor.
(Yuu's) Father
"Oh? Now you know how hurt it is? It's nothing compared to how we feels!"
He kicked hard Yuu's stomach then slapped him again.
He's body trembling in pain, Yuu's eyes become more die than before.
(Yuu's) Mother
"Why?! Why did you do this?! I gave you shelter and foods for you but this is what you repay to me?!"
Yuu
'They hate me... They really hate me...'
After 2 hours, they leave him alone with a bloody mess on the floor.
Morning. Yuu starting to awoken from sleep.
Yuu
*Hissing in pain because he's body still feel aching from brutal beat.*
He slowly, stand up and walked to he's room in unstable. He shakily sighed trying to ignored the pain on he's body.
He bite hard his lips when took a showers. The wounds from last night's, washed away with waters make the floor paint with blood. Yuu sigh tiredly before tending his wounds then wears uniform and walk out from room.
For some reasons, Yuu had an urge to enter his parents room. He knows that they might beat him again but he can't help it. When he entered the room, Yuu found out it's empty.
Yuu
"What..." He muttered.
Yuu
*Look at the mirror table but it's empty. Then, he open the closet. It's empty. There is nothing in there.*
Yuu
"They... Leave me?" He mumbled with hurt expression.
Yuu
"... They really hate me..." Whisper shakily.
He wanted to cry but there's no more tears to sheds. In the end, he still leaves the house and went to school. He ignored all those sneered towards him.
Teacher
"Today we have new student. Please welcome him."
Nico
"Yosh! My named is Nico, I came from Italy. Nice to meet you all!" Gave a bright smiled.
Girl 1: "Woah~ He is so cool."
Girl 2: "Kyaaa! He came from Italy!"
Girl 3: "Ah~ That is my dreamy boyfriend~"
Girl 2: "It's like dreams come true, if ever he wants to date with me~"
Yuu
"Just great. Another bully." He muttered and throw he's gaze out of window.
Teacher
"You can now sit next to him. Yuu could kindly lift your hand?"
Yuu
'Unbelievable.' He thought.
It's because beside him is the only table that empty. While, the whole class, stay far away from him. That time Nico thought of it weird but shrugged it off.
Willing or not, he lifted his hand.
Nico
*Sat next to Yuu while he wondered why his classmates reacting that way.*
Boy 1: "Oh damn. That new kid, sit next to that demon!"
Girl 3: "Ahh! No! I don't want my dreamy boyfriend die!"
Girl 2: "He such a nuisance! Why didn't he die yet?!"
Yuu
*Bags shadowing his eyes.*
Yuu
'Sometimes, I too wondered why I still alive?'
Nico
*Frown because doesn't like how they treated Yuu. He also doesn't understand what did he do to make them hate him.*
Nico
'Maybe I should ask them after this.'
All the students swooning over Nico's table, they wanted to know more about him. Meanwhile, Yuu packed his things and went to rooftops.
Nico
"Hey, why did you treat him like that?"
Boy 1: "Why? It's because he is a demon child!"
Nico
*Blinked a few times.* "Demon child?"
Girl 6: "You must be new in this town, that's why you didn't know anything about this. Right?"
Boy 2: "He is a demon child because every time, someone's wanted to be his friends. In the next day, they're missing and then found die in a cruel way!"
Nico
"..." *Frowned for a second.*
Girl 5: "That's why... Don't even try to talk to him!"
Boy 4: "Not only that. He such a liar and freak! He doesn't want to admit that, he is the one kill them!"
Girl 1: "He sprouting nonsense! Saying that it's all ghosts and spirits fault. We all know that they aren't real!"
Nico
"I see... Thank you. Now that I know, why are you reacting that way."
Boy 2: "Well, we're friends right?"
Nico
'A fake friends that is. I know that look you all give to me. I'm not stupid.'
Meanwhile on the rooftop.
Boy 5: "Hahahaha! Look how pathetic he is!"
Boy 4: "Why a demon like you still alive? Why don't you just die?"
Boy 6: "Ahh... Your old man's must be ashamed of you.."
They continued throwing hurts comments while beat him into pulp. Unknown to them, what they said is true.
Yuu
'How ironic... They really does ashamed of me, they does hate me and leave me all alone. As if hoping I will die in starved.'
After recess time is over, they groan as if haven't had enough beating Yuu yet. Nonetheless, they still gone to class back, leaving Yuu alone with open wounded and new wounds. He's blood dirtied the white uniform he wearing.
Yuu
*Eyes open half-lids.*
Yuu
'Maybe if I die, they will be in more peace.'

*Look at Yuu's table worriedly.*
Nico
'Where is he? The class already starting but no one seems to care about it. If anything, they are disturbingly look happy...'
He thought looking at the teacher and he's classmates seemed happy. The teacher even look more comfortable to teach them, even though some of the students, gossiping about him.
Nico
*Walk back home calmly, sometimes say hello to the others students that wave their hand at him.*
Nico
'Hm? Wait... Wasn't that Yuu?'
He saw how everyone avoiding him while sneering at him. Meanwhile, Yuu just look at the ground, starting to run back to his house.
Nico doesn't know why, he have a bad feeling about this. So, he followed him from behind.
Aside from that, Yuu didn't even realize that Nico following him from behind. His mind is too cloudy to aware of everything all he feels is hates gaze and a mean laughter around him.
As soon as he reached home. He doesn't bother to close the door instead yelling in frustration. Yuu throws his bag away from him. He thought that already had enough crying but no, those words they threw to him affecting him more harder than usual. Especially when he just learn that his parents abadond him..
He doesn't even care if his neighbours will get interrupted by he's screamed. Everyone in the town, treat him the same way. They just wished he die. That's what they wanted from the start.
Yuu
"Why..." He mumble in pain.
He suddenly saw a penknife not far from him. He doesn't even question, where is it come from. Instead he reaches it and starts to cut his hand shakily.
He doesn't feels the pain but the rush of pleasure. Seeing his blood came rushing out from those cuts, he sighs in relieved feeling satisfied. He cut it more deeper make him hissed a little but that didn't made him stopped.
Unknown to him, Nico already there staring in horrors. Just before he can stop him, Yuu already fell down.
Yuu
"I don't want to live anymore." He mutter as his concious slowly slipping away.
Nico quickly run over Yuu that can't move his heavy body anymore. He starting to get panicked.
Nico
"H-hey! Yuu! Get a hold of yourself! Yuu!"
Yuu
'Who-' He lose conscious from losing blood and exhausted in mentally.
Nico
"Ah... Crap. If I leave him here, he will die. Looks like, I doesn't have any choices."
Nico carry him in bridal style since he is smaller than him and he run as fast as he could to the mansion. Nico knew that, no one will help him especially when he already knows the reason why they treat him like this.
Nico
'Seriously. Does he even eat? He so light for goodness sake! I almost thought that he wasn't in my arms.'
Nico
"Brother! Help me! Brother!"
He called him in anxious. Nico began to worried because Yuu looked more weaker than before. He does realize that Yuu's have many more wounds, seeing dry bloods on his uniform. That just made him more panicked.
He's speech cut off, when he saw Yuu badly injures.
Hikari
"Nico, you have many explanation to me but for now lay him down in the emergency room."
Nico
*Just nodded and run to the emergency room. Laying him down on the bed.*
Not long, his brother already arrived in the room.
Hikari
"Wait for me outside the room. I will called you, once I done."
Nico just comply with him, leaving them with one last glanced before closing the door. He sighed heavily.
Yuki
"Umm... Welcome back big brother."
Nico
"I'm back, Yuki." Pat his little sister head.
Yuki
"Why are you standing infront of the room?"
Nico
"I'm waiting for my injures friend in there. Big brother Hikari currently checking him up." He doesn't want to mention about him trying to commit suicide.
Yuki
"Oh. I see. Then, can I wait here too." She said while sat on the nearby bench.
Meanwhile in the emergency room.
Hikari
*Frown while tending his wounds.*
Hikari
'His body full of wounds, some are still open wounded. He's right waist are out of the line but luckily it's not threatening. There's still some new wounds too, aside from he's cuts arms.'
Yuu
"... I.. want.. to... die..."
He muttered in his sleeps.
Almost 1 hour waiting, he came out from the room. Nico quickly stand up and ask him about his conditions.
Hikari
"So far, he is fine for now."
Nico
"Oh... That's good." He said with relief.
Hikari
"But, I can't say the same for his mental and emotions."
Nico
"What do you mean by that?"
Hikari
"From how, I observed and treat him just now. He was abused. Not just physically but mentally and emotionally."
Nico
"What?" He said in surprise.
Yuki
"Um... Should I not be here?" She asked feeling left out.
Hikari
"Yuki... No but you can stayed here if you want."
Yuki
"Ahm... I think I will pass for now brother Hikari. I need to finish my homework. See you later!"
Yuki
*Quickly leaving them. Knowing that they need personal time.*
Nico
"Hah... She really knows when we've something personal to talk right?"
Hikari
"That's our lil' sister alright."
Hikari signalling him to enter the room. Hikari sat on the couch nearby while Nico, for some reason wants to sat near Yuu. He's cuts arms already bandages carefully and he wearing oxygen mask.
Nico
'He look so pale and skinny.' He grimaced at his own thought.
Hikari
"So, care to explain?"
He silent for a moment before started telling him from began. Why all the people treat him harshly, why they despise his presence so much.
Hikari
"Hmm... That's explain why the people's gave warning to me. Saying be careful and don't even make contact with the demon child things."
Nico
"Unfortunately, we aren't normal people. Our job is exorcism those nasty spirits. Now, that I know he can see them."
Hikari
"Yes... Thought I worried about him right now."
Hikari
"He might try to commit suicide again once he woke up. His mental is damaged right now. It will take time for him to recover."
Nico
"Then, I won't let him harming himself again! I will take care of him until he finally recovered."
