My Darling God
Prologue
The floor was cold and the walls were enclosing as he ran further, but that didn't stop Nat from running, running for his life.
Nat
'I need a place to hide!' I thought to myself, panic filling my veins as I ran inside an empty classroom.
Hiding under a chair at the far back end of the class, Nat felt helpless, and all he could think of was help.
So, taking out his phone, he started dialing 911 for help
Sam
"Where is that little punk?" Asked Sam to himself as he stepped inside the dark, empty classroom, followed by his close-knit group of friends
Nat shivered in fear, trying to make himself as small as possible, burying his face in his knees, covering his head with his hands
The room fell quiet, eeirely quiet.
Nat thought he was safe, that he had escaped Sam.
But fate has a twisted sense of humor...
Sam
"Found ya" Sam looked down at Nat with a twisted, satisfied smirk, leaning towards him.
This couldn't be happening...
Oh, how Nat wished someone could save him right now...
A guardian angel, he wished, we're real...
New Student
Luca
"You know 'bout the new student Nat?" Asked Luca as I walked towards Nat and sat beside him, setting his tray beside his, Luca time was the best wasn't it?
Nat
"New student? Yeah, I have.." I replied while stuffing my mouth with a loaf of bread
Luca
"Heard he's in. the soccer team, and alpha at that.." He says as he bites off a piece of his sandwich
Luca is an omega, although he may not look like one, he says he hates being one because we'll... The only thing Omega's are seen as is a tool for reproduction...
Nat
'I can't blame him...' I thought to myself as I looked at him for a moment longer before resuming my focus to my lunch
Luca
"Do you think he'll be like Sam?" He asks looking at me as Sam and his friends passed by us.
Nat
"I don't know..." I said, not sure how to answer his question.
Being a rare Enigma, he thought he could get whatever he wanted... And well, he wasn't wrong...
Because in the end, he did always get what he wanted..
Nat
"What's his name by the way? The new student's I mean.." I suddenly asked, trying to get rid of the awkward silence between us
Luca
"The new student?" Luca looked up from his plate "His name is Jacks... Jacks Crux.."
How dare you?
His shoes splashed against the water as he ran out to God knew where..
He was sure he had left Sam and his gang behind!
But guess he was wrong...
Nat
*I was breathing, it felt like I couldn't do it anymore, I was running out of oxygen and strength, my head and legs felt light..
Maybe because a lot of blood was out from it*
Just when he was about to pick up his pace, he bumped into someone
He couldn't afford to fall down now! He'd be too weak to get up..

"Jeez, are you okay?" He asked, holding Nat close with his arms and a hand around his waist, preventing him from falling down
Nat
I had my eyes closed, preparing for a blow, but when I heard his calm, concerned voice, I couldn't help but look up "Yeah... I am.. Thanks..."

"I'm glad.." He said as he let go of Nat "Running from something?" He asked
Nat
"Running? Me?? I-um... Yeah.. I-I'm running away from someone, you can say that..."
Nat
"I-um... It's complicated..."
...
"Then—" He was about to say something but got cut off by Sam
Sam
"So there you are you little minx?" Sam asked threateningly, stepping closer to Nat and pulling him back by his collar
Nat
"Sam.. I-I'm sorry... Please let me go..." I hated begging... But there was something about Sam that made me so scared that made me bite down my ego, maybe it was the history we shared..

"Hey, let go of him wannabe Mario.." He said, stepping closer to Nat and Sam
Sam
"Who the fuck—?" He wasn't able to finish his statement before a sharp pain coursed through his left cheek "Jacks? How dare you?"
