There is a cat so bright going to a pool of shiny water and she is looking straight at it and while she looking at it there is a cat walking up to her. "Hey Moonlight why are looking at the starview" "Uh hi Featherpelt I just got the future trouble is coming for the clans and we have to send the prophecy to a healer it says a Two friends will prevent the trouble to come that is a shadow ok" "Ok Moonlight". Both of them looking a the Starview to see which healer they can choose to spread the message to the leaders. "Let choose Moonleaf to spread the message to the leaders" Moonlight meowed

"But what cat is the Ember and the Snow" Featherpelt ask "You will see Featherpelt you will find out soon in time".

They are the Tribes ancestors of so long ago.

A brown fur she cat is a sleep "Hey Ember wake up"a cat meow "It is time for you training" Ember eyes opening "Hi Stonefur" she said while she was stretching her limbs. "What are we going to do today Stonefur" Ember ask  "I will tell you when we get to the training ground". They walk to a sandy area  that is the training ground "Ok Ember today I going to teach you some fighting moves" "But first attack me like a I'm a enemy from a other clan and I'm trying to attack you" "Ok attack right now" Ember try attack him but Stonefur dodged the attack. "Good but pay attention little more where I'm dodging at and probably go little bit faster too" Stonefur meowed "Ok Stonefur" she attacked him little bit more faster and she got him. They keep doing this for hours training "Ok you can get a rest now Ember" Stonefur said.

Ember walk of to the food pile and she got a finch "Hi Ember do you want set next to me" It was Snow she is a white cat and Ember close friend "Sure Snow". Ember set next to Snow "How is you how is your first day being a apprentice" Ember ask "well it was ok" Snow meow "It was fun training with Stormpelt is kinda strict but also nice" "What about you" Snow ask "It was very fun Stonefur was very nice".They eat there prey "Do you want help the elders together" "Sure".

They brought food to the elders "Thanks you" Brackenfoot said his was the oldest of the elder and he is also Ember's grand father he has a brown fur with same emerald eyes as Ember.

After they give food to the elder they walk out and the Roseheart she is the leader she walk to them "Ember and Snow I need you to come with me to the leader den".They walk to the den when they arrive to the den Moonleaf the medicine cat was here "Why we called you here is that we need you for something important" Moonleaf meowed. Moonleaf is a black cat with blue eyes. "We need you to travel with me to the star cave" Roseheart said "Not right now tomorrow because it is getting late you two should take a nap".So the two she cats go to the apprentice den and sleep.

Ember and Snow wake up and Roseheart came in to the apprentice den. "It time Ember and Snow to go to the Star cave" "Ok" both Ember and Snow said "But first you have to go and get some traveling herbs from Moonleaf. "Ok we will" Ember said so Ember and Snow walk to the Healer den but then they met Graywing she is Snows mother "Hi Graywing" Snow said "me and Ember is going to the Star cave with Roseheart for something" Snow said. "Oh ok but be careful Snow and Ember will you take care of her" Graywing meowed "Of course I always watch out for her because she is my best friend and she always protects me too".

They got to the healer den "You probably want the traveling herbs for to stay awake for the long walks" Moonleaf said. So she gives them mixed herbs of Daisy, Burnet and Sorrel

"Thanks" Ember muffled with the herbs in her mouth They go back to Roseheart "Here the herbs for you to".They shallowed up their herbs  "Let go right now before it get late" Roseheart meowed. So they exit the camp and walk in the forest to the Star cave. It was getting dark and freezing cold but they can't rest because to speak to the ancestors it have to be moon high and.

They are almost there they just has to climb up the mountain top to the star cave. "Ok you two   we have to climb up there up top of the mountain I will ask a question where do you think we will get up to the top" Roseheart ask Ember replied "There are rock that made a stair way up top of the the top". "Good job paying attention off you surrounding you have to also used it for battling for war and stuff when you mad to a warrior" Roseheart said. Then the climb up the stairs up and up and Ember felt like that she climbed for hours.

"Uhh It feels like we climbing for hours" Ember groaned. Snow smirk as Ember groans as they climb up the mountain.

After hours the reach to the star cave the cats enter the cave it filled of a lot of crystals like lapis quarts and others. But the cave goes on Ember look at the different crystals and Roseheart told Ember and Snow "Stay here" because she is going to the star pool how it got it name is the pool of water is shape like a star. While she is gone Ember and Snow talk about stuff "Hey Ember what are you going to do tomorrow probably training to be a warrior". So Ember is training to be a warrior and Snow is training to be a mentor.

"Yeah Stonefur want to train me tomorrow how to hunt" Ember responded "Same". When you trained to be a mentor you kinda trained like someone training to be a warrior but there is different ways. "So Ember do have a crush on Hawk" Snow ask with a smirk.

Ember brush "Uhh....well" Ember says "No".

"Don't  try to hide it Ember I see you looking at him and talking to him a lot". "Fine I kinda have a crush to him but I also see you looking at Fern" Ember gaving her a pay back "No I don't I don't like her" She brushes and she swat at her "Hey". Then Roseheart come back from the star pool "What are you two talking about" Roseheart ask " Nothing" Ember and Snow both say and they both brushes. "Ok if you two say show".

So they walk back down of the mountain and down. Ember and Snow walk at the back "Ember how will you confess your feelings to Hawk" Snow says " I don't know yet I even don't know if he love me back". They still walk down the mountain and still talking "I'm tired I will sleep for a moon" Ember say "Me too" Snow say.

They got back to the camp Ember and Snow go straight to the apprentice den. "Uhh it felt like we never going sleep this night" Ember said but Snow was ready is sleeping. So next Ember went to sleep.

The sun rose up in the sky, birds were chirping. Ember woke up "Mmm it is a beautiful morning" Stonefur came in. "Ember we going go hunting in a moment so get ready ok" Ember nod "ok". Stonefur left the den Ember saw Hawk and walk to him Hawk is one of Ember closest friends. "Hi Hawk can you come with me I have to tell you something important" "Oh sorry Ember but I'm busy I have to go training to be a healer with Moonleaf" "Oh ok see you" she said while she looking sad.

Ember is out training to hunt with Stonefur "Ok what do you smell Ember" "Hmm I smell some mouse and a squirrel" "Good job are they close to us" Stonefur ask. "I thank so" Ember answered. "Can you spot the mouse or squirrel" Stonefurask "Not yet" "When you do I will show you how to kill it ok" Stonefur said. Then Ember spotted something a mouse "I saw something a mouse" she whispered "ok let me show how to hunt" Stonefur said first he crouched down and move slowly and be quiet and he looked around to see if there twigs or anything that probably make sound. Then he jumped on the mouse and bite on the neck so it can kill the mouse. Now he look dig a hole to keep it hidden from animal that can probably grabbed it or eat it. Stonefur look at  Ember "Now I want you to do the same thing as what I did when you get an animal ok". Ember nod and she found a squirrel so she matched the crouch but kinda off as she can do. Then she jump and she did do the final move. "You did very good as you first time"

They continue hunting some more and then after that they head back to the camp and drop it off at the food pile. Ember saw Hawk and walk up to him "Hi Hawk how was you healer training" Ember ask nicely "Good how was your training" Hawk ask "I was very nice  "Good" Hawk said "I have something to say but I don't know how to say it" Ember say She saw Snow padded up to them. "Umm I.... I llllo no I can't" She walk off. "What is she trying say" Hawk ask Snow.

Ember POV

I walk to the forest because I got embarrassed when trying to confess my feelings to Hawk. Oh how will I confess my feelings to him I think  Then I smell something, Something was not right "How is watching me I know you is here" I say.Then Hawk came out "Wait why are you spying on me Hawk I just want to be alone ok" I said Then Hawk walk up to me and put his mazel against my. I brush big time "What are you doing Hawk" "Snow told me anything she said that you been having a crush on me" He reply". "Yeah but still I don't want us be girlfriend and boyfriend right now Hawk" "Let me thank first ok".

When he left I walk towards the pond I this where I always think. "Should I have Hawk as a girlfriend or not I don't know I love him but it is hard" "help me ancestors!" This is hard choice for me. So I walk back to Hawk "I made my choice I like you to be my girlfriend " I lick his cheek and Hawk purred "I love you Hawk." We interned are tails and site down here and we look up the sky. It is now dark and star full sky.

It is getting dark and we not want to stay out and make are clanmate worried. So we walk back to the camp and we head over to the apprentice den. "Good night Hawk" I lick his flank then we sleep together.

Then the sun rises  Snow pawed me "Ember wake up Ember" She meowed so I wake up "Why you wake me up so early" "Because we are training together today morning right now". So I got up and followed Snow to the entrance of the camp.There where I saw Stonefur and Stormpelt waiting for me. "Ok there you are let go and do battle training ok" so the walk to the forest and they found a dirt patch for battle training. "Ok you to will practice fighting each other" Then I smell something off very of like vulture food "Hey Stonefur I smell something very off" "Yeah I smell it too let me work at it".

In this day every change for this worse that day when is the last time I saw Stonefur  and that shock my whole life.

Snow POV

Stonefur walks where he thinks the smell comes from. "While we wait for Stonefur, let's practice your fighting move, Stormpelt. 'Ok," I said I looking at Ember, she is looking at where Stonefur walked off to. "Hey, Ember, he will be ok," I meowed. "You're probably right," she replied then we started practicing our fighting move. Sometimes Stormpelt showed us tactics and helped us to get it right.

A couple of hours later, Stonefur didn't come back. I saw Ember getting worried. So Stormpelt went to tell Roseheart what was going on. I walked back to the camp when I found Stonefur dead, gutted, with blood splattered on the ground. I screamed, "Oh my ancestors!". I guess Ember and Stormpelt heard me because they rushed to me, "What's wrong, Sno? Oh my ancestors... no STONEFUR!!!" Stonefur is Ember's mentor, but her brother is too. "You two take him back to the camp and report it to the leader. I will find out who or what did this to Stonefur". So we dragged him by the scuff of his fur to the camp. I still can't believe he is dead. He on of the best mentors ever, but I didn't have him, but I heard it from Ember.

We arrived at the camp, and everyone circled us, asking questions, looking speechless. Leafshine walked up to me and said, "Who killed Stonefur in this unspeakable way?".

Leafshine is Ember and Stonefur's mom. "I don't know," I managed to say with my mouth full. Then Roseheart came with Lionclaw Stonefur's father, "Where is Stormpelt?" Roseheart asks. "He is looking for who did this," Ember responded. "I will send a patrol to aid him." Roseheart then looked at Stonefur's body, "His wound doesn't look like it not from a cat or any animal that is not in the forest". "Yeah," I meowed.

Ember POV

I went over to Hawk because I was very depressed. "I don't know what to do at all" I whined. He put his mazel on my forehead. "We will find out who or what is responsible for this," Hawk responded.

I leaned my head on his shoulder. "I should have told him not to go at all," I meowed. "It is ok, he is better with the ancestors with no pain or suffering," Hawk said he licking my flank. "What matters is that you not hurt or worse". "Yeah, you're right, thanks." I left him and walked to Leafshine. "Hey, mom," I put my head in her neck fur "I should have been with him, I should have." I cried.

The funeral started with all the people who knew him well sitting around his body. I put my head in his fur, "I will never forget you at all." I then sit there for a couple of hours praying to the ancestors for him to find the way to get up there. "Hey Ember" I look up I see the leader gazing at me "I want you take the test to see if you can be a warrior tomorrow because we are low on mentors so yeah" The leader said said "Ok but who grade me on the test" "Me of course" the leader says "Ok let's see you hunting skills but we need a warrior to keep an eye out if they see that monster who killed Stonefur".

We walk out with a warrior, Berchfur, and we walk towards the forest. "Ok, hunt 3 things by the way I will watch you," Roseheart meowed. I was an apprentice for 13 months, and usually when apprentices are 13 moons old they take the graduate test.

I started sniffing for prey, then I smelled a shrew, then I then crouched down so I won't make any noise. Then I circled the shrew, then I jumped on it and bit the neck, then I dug a hole to hide the prey, and covered the hole back up.

"I finished hunting 3 prey, I hope I did good," I said out loud to myself. I walked back up to the clearing in the forest, then I saw the leader I did How did I do"? I asked, "You did so good, you hun prey amazingly," Roseheart said.

"But I part one there four part ok part one is hunting part 2 attacking part 3 awareness lastly part 4 tracking". I'm now on part 2 of the warrior test. The attacking part of the test, I'm attacking my father, and the second command, Lionclaw.

"Now, attack me with what you've got, no holding back," Lionclaw said. So I attacked, I jumped on and scratched him, but he rolled over and kicked my stomach. But I got up, and I wasn't playing anymore. I jumped next to him and touched him. Then, when he about turns around, I jump next to his side and kick him over.

"Wow, that was a good surprise," Lionclaw said.

So we attacked and attacked, I scratched and dodged when he attacked me. "I think you passed the attacking part".

Snow pov

I was about to eat until my mentor Stormpelt came up to me, "Hey Snow, I was saying that you are graduated, you are now a full mentor, but not yet tomorrow when the leader called us for a ceremony." "What, will there be a test ?" Snow asks. "Mentor doesn't have test that bunch to their mentor apprentice, ok?" Stormpelt replied, "Ok, thank you for being my mentor, Stormpelt". When Stormpelt left, she lay down on her moss. "Where is Ember? She's taking forever. I'm about to be worried," she said in her mind. Fern came up "Hey Snow" Fern said "Can I say something?" She ask  "Not right now Fern not trying to be rude but I need to sleep for my ceremony for me to be made to a mentor" I hissed "Ok but I was saying that my warriors tests is tomorrow because Ember is taking her's today." "That probably why she taking long because she needs to do 4 parts" snow said. "I'm back," Ember yawned, "I need to sleep for years".

It was morning I woke up, "Hey, Ember!" I called her to wake up, but she is still sleeping. "Hey!"

She is still sleeping; it's probably because she was up for a long time. I kick her to wake up. "I'm up," Ember said. "It is about time for are ceremony," I said. "All cats come forth for a Tribe meeting," the leader announced, so we went to the meeting. I saw Fern so I walk and sit next to her "Hi Fern I can wait to be a fully mentor" "I excited too for you Snow" Fern replied "You will be a great mentor" "All cat we gathered here for two apprentice that showed us that they are brave and worthy to be warriors and a mentor Snow stepped forward." Roseheart meowed

"You showed your skills and your compassion for your tribemate, so this day from now on, your name will be Snowpelt. Stay loyal and train new apprentices the best as you can."

"I will," I mewed, and I went back to sit next to Fern. "I'm now a mentor, I can't wait to have an apprentice." I mewed an excitement, "Now, Ember, come to the front. " Roseheart commended Ember, walks up. "You are strong and brave and also loyal, that's why I gave you the name of Emberheart. Stay strong," Roseheart meow. "I always will," Emberheart responded, and she bowed her head. She walked back and sat down.

"Here, another ceremony, Daisy and Dawn are now old enough to be apprentice Snowpelt. You will be mentoring Daisy, and Dawn will be mentored by Stormpelt". Daisy rushed to me, "Will you train me today?". I kinda figured that I would have an apprentice when I just became a full mentor, so I will train Daisy the best as I can. "So Daisy what you want to be when you done being an apprentice." You probably thanking why I asked here that there 3 jobs for a tribe Mentor, healers and warriors and I have to ask her that so I will tell the leader so she can get ready for Daisy naming ceremony when she done but If she wants to be a healer than she will be swiped mentor. "I want to be a mentor just like you" "Ok I will tell Roseheart about you choose and when I done we will train some fighting move and pointers of how you can teach other cats to fight and help cats to correct their mistakes ok" I told her "Ok I will get ready I will tell Dawn" Dawn Is her sister Dawn is shy but loyal to her tribe my felling is Dawn is most likely be trained to be a healer.

I told Roseheart about Daisy's choice when I finished. I walked to the tunnel, will we exited and entered, and Daisy was waiting for me to go to the training area. "Ok, follow me," I told Daisy  (Daisy is kinda shy but brave and good-spirited). We arrived at the fighting training area. "Ok, first I will teach you some fighting moves." "First, the claw." I jumped and clawed, "Now copy me." Daisy did, but she fell. "Are you ok, Daisy?" I asked, "Yeah, just a scratch, but I'm fine." She responded. We trained for a couple of hours. "Uh, let's have a break," I said. "Ok," Daisy responded

We talked and looked at the sky. "The sky is beautiful," I said, "The blue sky with clouds and birds".

When we were done training, we were walking back to the camp. "That was fun," Daisy responded. "Yeah, it was, you will be a wonderful apprentice," I said. Daisy blushed, "Thanks". I heard something a growled "Did you hear that" I ask Daisy "Yeah do you thank It who killed Stonefur" She said "If it is than run to back to camp and I will distract it for you to run back" I said "No I won't I will help you because I don't want you to die" She said."No pls go I don't want my apprentice die pls go" I said and cried but she stayed and I don't want to argue with her. "Ok, you can come, but stay close to me," I ordered her me and we see what made that noise. "I smell something that's not from here. Do you smell it?" I ask her. "Yeah, I do, it smells strange like rotting flesh," she said, wrinkling her nose. I laugh, "Yeah, it smells bad, but we still need to find out what made that noise".

But then we gave up, we need to get back to the camp. "We can look for it tomorrow, ok".

I went to the den. Mentors and Warriors shared dens, if you want to know. I saw Emberheart grooming herself. "Hey, Emberheart, I heard a growl, the same growl that we heard when we were training." She stopped grooming and looked up at me and said, "Pls don't tell me that you're off looking what it was". "N... No, I didn't," I lied,  "Stop it, I know when you lie." "I'm not lying at all," I responded. "If you were, I would help out looking for that thing that killed my brother," Emberheart said, "Because that's what a best friend is for."

"Ok, let rest".

It is morning, I am still sleeping because I'm still very tired. "Hey, wake up." "Huh oh, good morning, Emberheart." "Sorry, Emberheart, that I slept for a little longer." "It's fine, Snowpelt, you stayed longer to explore the woods looking for the monster that killed Stonefur".

"Yeah, are we still looking for the monster today..." "Can I come too?" When I looked over it was Daisy. "Umm... I don't know," I responded.

"Please, very please, I will do everything that helps you." "Ok, but still I don't know what your mom will say," I say. Then her eyes got wide, and she looked sad. "Fine".
