Gea is always seeking help, to everyone, to god to the point she thought herself of being pathetic. She’s an adult. No one cares the life of a mere stupid human.

It’s her fault to choose this life. Egoistic and arrogant woman who clueless. Pretending to be clever, but in reality, she was nothing more than a useless person.

She was drowning in her fantasy of life. Have an outstanding job, a great husband, and a rich life. Gea only living in downtown and shabby apartment. In the room where the things she’s doing are drunk and smoking.

She inhaled her smoke and then let it out, glancing at her cellphone waiting for a mail of her being hired. It is none.

She chugged her liquor from the bottled and smoke again. She hated her life and how miserable it was. How she’s never got what she dreams.

Stand up from her seat and pull out her jacket that hanging for who knows how long. She went out and locked the door of her flat. The smell of alcohol lingers in her body. Whenever she passed into someone, they covered their noses and gave her a look of disgust. Well, she gets used to it. Gea has no more conscience and shame anymore.

She walked until she’s stopped in the bridge near her flat. Gea sighed. As her hand resting in the bridge rail. How unfair. She reached her hand to the sky, looked at the skyscraper across the bridge.

God, you’re so unfair to me.

I wish I’d been born in a rich family, having great parents who always there for me. It might be a dreamful life. How nice.

She inhaled the fresh air around her; she closed her eyes. But then she hears a scream in fright as she felt something pushed her body forward, loses her balance, and falls off the bridge.

Huh, you might kid. I still Wanna live! Her hand tried to reach something but fu * k it.

There’s nothing that can help her stop falling. She’s regret to this bridge today. It's hilarious. She’s still heard people screaming and panicked, as they called the police and ambulance.

“Oh my God, where’s the ambulance?”

“911, hello.. yes.. we are in-“

Yet, her body fall to the lake, she’s tried to swim but she can’t. Maybe because of the alcohol that her feet numbed. Her oxygen diminished, and it’s started hard to breathe. Her sight getting blur and her consciousness disappeared. That was the last thing she remembered before the darkness swallows her soul.

Gea's head throbbing in pain as someone shaking her body. For goddess’ sake, didn’t she just falls over to the lake? Whoever it way they don’t know how to act gentle!

“Hmm, stop it..” she grumbled. She opened her eyes, startled of her voice. It’s not her voice, she knows it. Her eyes roaming around the room, she’s not in the hospital. It was a luxurious room, with a European style. Then her eyes fell to a woman in maid clothes. The maid’s face paled, her body trembled in fear as she just met a demon. Then she immediately lowered her face to face the floor. As if she didn’t dare look at Gea.

“Lady Irene.. please have mercy on me... I ... I had to w-wake you up.” Liliana stuttering, Gea still didn’t know what happened to her, and why this woman called her Lady Irene?

“What did you just call me?” Gea asked. She examined the body she resides in. It was a beautiful healthy white skin. Beautiful pair of hands. It’s not her body. The maid’s face is more pale than before, she’s more panicked when Gea asked.

“La-lady Irene”

“No way..” Gea muttered in disbelief. It might just a dream. She pinched her hand, it’s real. Gea stared at the maid and with her confused minds, she asked.

“Where am I? And Who are you?” The maid seems about to pass out. No way, The lady doesn’t recognise herself, even she didn’t remember who she was. She’s the lady’s maid.

“This ... Lady, are you didn’t know who am I?” She asked carefully.

“No, I didn’t remember who you are..” Gea felt like she’s going mad. It’s confusing. The maid in front of her then says.

“I’m going to inform his grace about it. Please stay still in your bed, Lady” she strode out from her room and closed her door. She gets out of bed and walked to the mirror. There’s standing a stunning beauty. Her hair was black as the darkness. Her white porcelain skin glowing. Her red eyes stared at her sharply. No way ... It can’t be right. As her mind debated. She hears a commotion outside her door. Before her door slammed open.

A man in his forty approached her with a worried look. His appearance is not much different from her. The same pair of beautiful red eyes and black hair. His eyes softly look at her while his face remains stoic.

“Are you felt hurt anywhere?” He asked calmly. Gea shook her head, This man might be the father of Irene. Gea unsure what to do, she doesn’t know why she’s suddenly in this body.

“Seems like she hurt her head badly. She doesn’t even remember me.” He said. Gea tilted her head slightly. What does that mean? The man now scrutinises her face. And He surely knows that his daughter doesn’t recognise him the moment her eyes sparkled when she sees him. It’s not the usual Irene, If it’s the old self Irene, she would give him her icy gaze.

“Father?” How long is it? The last time he heard that word from Irene’s mouth was when she’s a kid. He felt a headache. This is not good, his daughter has lost her memories.

“Rama. Ask the physician to hurry.” He ordered the butler behind him, gestured him with his hand asked him to do it faster.

“Yes, your grace” The butler bowed, then gone in the next second. Her jaw dropped. This! Holy moly! What kind of world is she in?

“It’s okay, Irene, everything is gonna be fine.”

It’s been one week after Gea woke up as Irene. From the information her maid tells her, Irene is the youngest child of The Grand Duke of Dharanendra. As the youngest, they spoil her rottenly. She always gets what she wants.

She had been bedridden over a week after having an accident in a youth ball. The reason for it is that of her foolishness.

So, in the Youth Ball, Irene threatened to destroy Elle’s family, if she didn’t stay away from her fiancé. But Elle is not afraid of Irene’s threats, and scoffs at Irene, as a disgusting woman.

Irene was angry and immediately slapped Elle’s face. Her emotion burning wildly, and she tried to kill Elle with her dark magic. At that moment, her fiancé comes to stopped Irene, he attacks Irene and throws Irene far from Elle. Irene surprised at the sudden attack, but she can’t stop it. Her body hit the wall hard. She tried to stand and reply to his attack. But she froze at his fiancé's eyes, hatred, and disgust.

Her body slumped down, and his fiance left her as he is carrying Elle away. Betrayed, he betrays her. Blood gushed out from her mouth. He hurts her badly. This incident is being watched by all the people. She’s then being escorted back home and the fall unconscious for over a week.

Her Maid. Liliana also tells Gea that Irene’s Fiance has annulled their engagement. Since He’s from the Marquis Family, he can’t do anything about Irene’s acts to kill her beloved Elle. And The Royal turn blind eyes to the incident. They don’t care about the complaints people gave about Irene. So the annulment is her punishment.

“How stupid” she muttered. Well, let’s just living quietly. Anyway, thanks to Irene, because of her She’s still alive. Even it’s not in the same world as before, at least she’s reborn as The Grand Duke’s daughter.

I’ve been spending my time studying for these past few months. Since, I didn’t inherit memories of Irene. I had to learn this world, it’s etiquette, and her magic.

Yet, the rumours of this lady don’t disappear. It shows they scared of her. Well, I Can’t say what Irene does is a right thing. To reprimand a young lady not to stay away from your fiancé, this is the right thing to do.

Anyway, it’s nice once the royals announced the broken engagement. I didn’t have to handle with the marquis’ house or meet them. Of course, I’ll see them. But let’s not think of it for now.

I too spent practically half a year to studying the information of this world I live now. Dharanendra, as the name of this country bear a meaning as world protector.

Dharanendra was the first land, sovereign by a Male monarch, as Batavia always ruled by a female monarch. They called the two, the golden child, as the lord bless them.

There are no issues with the two kingdoms. And now, Batavia no longer opened into the actual world. As for the reasons, there’s no record of it. Maybe it was a secret so that the outsiders never knew where’s this land gone.

All I know that Batavia is the most powerful land, their powers are dangerous, and that’s why they seal themselves elsewhere. But people regard this story as legend.

So, the moment I read these, I no longer surprised of how weird our kingdom was. The goddess of night, Nyx bless Dharanendra. But it’s rare for someone to have darkness attributes in this land. Only two people who have that now. Irene itself and the demon king.

Yet, Irene never used her Darkness elements and tried to hide it. Because she knows once the noblesse knew of her power, it could bring calamity to her house. Now, as I become Irene, I’ll live in the duke’s territory and protect this place with the magic.

And the court full of another noble from various houses, waiting for Marquis Blair to open his mouth.

“Your Majesty.. is it not to abrupt to do this marriage?” Marquis Blair’s protest made the court hitch their breath. No one dare to move or made a sound.

“You dare questioning His majesty, Marquis Blair?” Arjuna threaten him, but the Marquis doesn’t spare a glance to him. He arrogantly snorted at Arjuna and continued to speak.

“As you know, that woman is infamous for being vile. She also tried to hurt my son. Your majesty, this is not good-“ the court began noisy, they are grateful that the Grand Duke didn’t attend today’s court or else the Marquis head would hang in the capital. Abhimanyu tapped his fingers, annoyed.

“I don’t know that the Marquis had time to spare rather than took care of your territory. But I believe that Lady Irene has reason to hurt your son. If I was her, I would kill both of the traitor. It’s easiest way to eliminate vermin” Abhimanyu sneered. His purple eyes sent an icy glare to the Marquis.

I lazily read a history book while sitting in the rocking chair. Liliana appears after knocked the door with letters.

“I see. Seems like someone uses her friend to threaten me.” I smile. Amused at this cute young lady’s action.

“Didn’t Lady Devi betrothed to the heir of Duke Ilyas?” Liliana smiled at my question. She seems happy that i had remembered the nobles information.

Because as far as I know, you can see the truth with that pair of beautiful eyes. Please be aware of the friend of yours. She’s not someone you think she is. As greediness will cut both of your ties. I didn’t want to say this to you. But you have to know this. Please don’t waste your tears for him. Let the hawk’s eyes see the truth beyond them. When you covered the truth, I’ll be waiting for you at The blue flower. My best regards. Irene Meera Jayanegara.” Devi didn’t want to believe it. here's the second chapter my dear reader. I'msorry for the late post.

Men are ruthless, especially if they have powers. That's why in the past I never chase them. Even if my life become lonely and I craved for that bright life, still I won't degrade myself so low for money to a man, at least I'm not that miserable without love. You may say I'm a fool. Yet, I feel peaceful. And it's stay the same for now.

Here, we spend our tea time in his study. Me and my new fiancé, The emperor. Or they always called him the demon king. He doesn't seem like one, though. But, if it's refers to his appearance, perhaps that's it. Her deep blue eyes are vast as the sea. He has a tall structure and strong built body. You can see how much he's training to gain that big muscled. And don't forget he has long silver hair. That's even made him looks demonly handsome. Well, I'm just exaggerated.

I sip my tea slowly, inhaled the sweet fragrance of it. Both of us didn't say a single word other than greetings since I came here. We only silently observed each other.

"Don't hurt it again." I pouted. I know. Don't say it twice. He laughed and pinched my cheeks.

"Your eyes beautiful" I blurted out my mind.

"I know. So are you falling in love with me?"

"Get lost." He laughed hard. As I take the duvet to cover me. He opened the duvet and kiss my forehead.

"Rest for a while. I'll see you again." I blinked in surprise. He-he kisses my forehead. Really shameless!

There's nothing special happened for these two weeks after I stay at the palace to get the Queen education.

Abhimanyu busy as always. But we will meet at dinner. Sometimes he accompanying me in my room. And then his counsellor will get him to work, remind him not to lazy. It's happened every day.
