**Interview**

*The Interview*

Reporter Sarah Jenkins sat across from Emily, a 25-year-old woman with a haunting gaze. Emily's family had died under mysterious circumstances five years ago, and Sarah was determined to uncover the truth.

Sarah's recorder whirred to life as she began the interview. "Emily, thank you for agreeing to this. I know it can't be easy."

Emily's eyes seemed to cloud over. "It's okay. I want people to know what happened."

Sarah nodded. "Let's start with that night. What do you remember?"

Emily's voice was barely above a whisper. "We were at home...my parents, my little brother...we were all together. And then...the darkness came."

Sarah's eyes narrowed. "The darkness?"

Emily's gaze drifted off. "It was like a living thing. It filled the room, suffocated us. I tried to run, but..."

Sarah's skin crawled. "What happened to your family?"

Emily's voice cracked. "They're all dead. My mom, dad, brother...all gone."

Sarah's eyes widened. "I'm so sorry, Emily. But can you tell me more about this...darkness?"

Emily's eyes snapped back into focus. "It's still out there. Watching me. Waiting for me."

As the interview continued, Sarah began to feel a creeping sense of unease. Emily's words seemed to weave a spell of dread around her.

Suddenly, Emily's eyes locked onto something behind Sarah. Her face froze in terror.

Sarah spun around, but there was nothing there. "Emily, what's wrong?"

Emily's whisper sent chills down Sarah's spine. "It's here."

As Sarah turned back to Emily, she saw something that made her blood run cold. Emily's eyes had turned black as coal.

And then, the darkness closed in.

Sarah tried to scream, but her voice was muffled by some unseen force. Emily's face twisted into a malevolent grin.

"You shouldn't have come here," Emily whispered, her voice no longer human.

As Sarah watched in horror, Emily's body began to fade away, revealing a spectral form beneath.

Sarah's eyes widened as Emily's ghostly form loomed closer, a dark aura surrounding her.

With a blood-curdling scream, Emily's ghostly form reached out and wrapped icy fingers around Sarah's throat.

Sarah's lifeless body slumped forward, the recorder still spinning, capturing the eerie silence.

And then, Emily vanished into thin air, leaving behind a room filled with an unspeakable horror.

The darkness had claimed another victim.
