(A gentle breeze hums through an ancient temple courtyard under a blood-red sunset. Bells echo softly. Two souls stand facing each other — one trembling, one breaking.)

They will never let us be together. Our families...

(cutting her off, gripping her hand)

I don't care. I'll fight the whole world for you.
(He pulls her close, his forehead against hers. His voice cracks, the rage fading into helplessness.)

If not this life... then the next. I'll find you. No matter where you are. No matter who you become.

(smiling through tears)

And what if I don't remember you?

(presses her hand to his heart)

Then I'll make you fall for me all over again.
(Thunder rumbles. Somewhere, fate shudders. The sound of horses, shouts — a mob approaches. The lovers run, hands entwined, hearts desperate. But destiny, cruel yet kind, writes its own ending.)
(A flash of fire. A final scream. A temple bell tolls as the wind scatters ashes — and the promise echoes softly:

(wakes up suddenly, breathing hard)

What the hell... why— why does my chest hurt?

(paused and confused)
(He stares at his reflection in the mirror — haunted eyes, trembling hands. He feels like he’s lost something he never had.)
A cozy room filled with sketches and fairy lights.

(softly humming while sketching)

Hmm... this tune again?

Why do I always end up drawing the same eyes?
(She looks down at her sketchbook a pair of piercing eyes stare back at her. She doesn’t recognize the face, but her heart beats faster.)
(A sudden breeze flutters her curtains. The same melody she was humming echoes faintly, like a whisper from another time "Ekansh...")
(Her pencil slips from her fingers. The sound of it hitting the floor is drowned by her heartbeat.)

(wide-eyed, whispering)
