The next day I received an alert from my bank account. He'd sent the money. I lived in Montauk so I had to board a plane. I booked a flight and payed for a cab to the airport. The plane arrived at Panoptia City at around 1 pm.

Osagie's apartment was somewhere near the middle of the city. He'd sent me the location so with a few asking for directions I found it.

The city seemed like any normal city, but I couldn't shake of the eerie and uncomfortable feeling that something or someone was watching me. I turned back multiple times while walking as well as in taxis.

When I finally arrived at Osagies apartment it was 2:30pm.

As I walked inside I saw a lady sitting on a stool, be an empty counter that was at the side of the wall, close to the entrance.

She seemed to be intently reading and I almost thought she didn't notice me when she looked up.

When I opened the door I was surprised to see that my room already had a bed in it. It wasn't a big apartment. It had a small bedroom, a living room which already had a dining table and four chairs set round and a door to the front left of the living room which was most likely the kitchen as well as a door in the bedroom that was the bathroom.

About thirty minutes later I'd finished unpacking my stuff. I picked up my phone to call Osagie when I heard someone knocking on the door.

I had a feeling I most likely knew whoever was at the door. I mean, only someone you're familiar with would say that, right?

I walked to the door consciously. I stayed behind the angle at which I'd be behind the door, just in case of any attacks. I swung open, ready to kick if I had to.

I never even enter kitchen yet.

We both sit down on the chairs in the living room. We talk for about 15 minutes.

Why don't you start working here in Panoptia City?
