"CRIMSON VEINS"(A Demon Love Story -Taekook AU) Novel Book.

crimson veins - chapter 1 : the Boy in the rain.

The rain hadn't stopped for three days.

it fell against the glass of Jungkook's window like a heartbeat - steady, lonely, and relentless. The city outside blurred into silver streaks of light, the world reduced to water and shadows. Inside his small dorm room, only the soft hum of the radiator and the faint scratching of a brush broke the silence.

Jungkook sat before a half-finished painting. The dim yellow lamp illuminated the curve of his cheek, the streaks of paint across his fingers, and the canvas that consumed him every night.

A boy's face started back from the painting - sharp jawline, lashes long and dark, lips parted slightly as if about to whisper a secret. Jungkook

Didn't know his name, but he'd painted him again and again for months.

Always the same boy.

always the same golden eyes.

He didn't tell anyone about it- not his professors, not his classmates, not even Jimin who sometimes peeked into his studio to drag him out for dinner. There was no way to explain it. He painted landscapes, still life, the brush somehow returned to him.

That face haunted him in dreams. Sometimes standing beneath crimson sky, sometimes surrounded by fire. Sometimes smiling, like he knew a truth Jungkook had forgotten.

And always those eyes - burning, knowing, endless.

...****************...

That day, he couldn't paint anymore. The city's hum seemed louder, the shadows restless. A strange pull tugged at him - something between instinct and calling. He grabbed his sketchbook, slipped on his hoodie, and stepped out into the rain.

The streets were nearly empty. Water pooled in the cracks of the pavement, reflecting the orange glow of streetlights like melted amber. Jungkook walked aimlessly, his steps splashing softly.

Then he saw him.

Under a flickering Streetlamp at the far end of the road - a figure stood still in the rain.

The light trembled, flashing between brightness and shadow, and in those brief moments of clarity, Jungkook's breath caught.

The boy looked exactly like the one in his paintings.

Dark hair plastered against his forehead, pale skin glistening wet, eyes gleaming faintly - gold, not brown. the rain didn't seem to touch him; it fell around him, as if avoiding his body entirely.

Jungkook froze in The middle of the street. His heart skipped. His fingers tightened around his sketchbook until the pages bent.

Then the boy looked up.

And smiled.

It wasn't a friendly smile - not quite. It was slow, deliberate, almost ancient. A smile that made the air feel colder.

    "Been a long time Jungkook."

Jungkook's blood ran cold.

He hasn't told him his name.

He took a step back, but the world tilted violently. The screech of tires cuts thought the rain - a car came sliding out of nowhere, headlights blinding. He didn't even have time to move.

A blur - a flash of gold - strong arms wrapped around him and yanked him out of the way.

They crashed into the wet pavement, Jungkook gasping, the world spinning

His chest pressed against a body - warn but wrong, electric, too still. He looked up, and the boy was staring down at him, face inches away.

Those eyes again - molten gold, glowing faintly in the rain.

For a moment, Jungkook swore he saw wings unfurl behind him - vast, black, and dripping crimson light like blood and fire.

Then everything went dark.

...****************...

When Jungkook woke, it was still night. His head ached, his clothes were dry, and he was lying in his own bed.

He sat up quickly, chest heaving. Had it been a dream? His shoes were still wet, mud streaked across the floor.

And on his chest - just over his chest - he saw something that hadn't been there before.

Faint, black veins. Thin as ink lines at first, but when he touched them, they pulsed beneath his skin - once, twice, like a second heartbeat.

Jungkook stumbled to the mirror. his reflection looked back - pale, trembling, eyes wide. The veins glowed faintly, just enough to be real.

"What the-" he whispered, voice breaking.

A sound made h freeze

A low voice - smooth, quiet, impossibly close.

"you shouldn't have remembered me."

Jungkook turned sharply.

there he was - standing by the window as if he had always been there. The moonlight poured over him, catching the faint shimmer of wet hair, the gleam of those impossible golden eyes.

He wasn't human. Jungkook knew that instantly - something about him bent the air, made shadows tremble. Yet he didn't look monstrous. He looked heartbeat beautiful.

"Who are you? "Jungkook whispered.

the boy tilted his head, smile curling faintly.

" Kim Taehyung."

The way he said it - calm, knowing, familiar - sent a chill down Jungkook's spine.

"What do you mean... remembered you? "

Taehyung's eyes softened, and for the first time, Jungkook saw sorrow behind the fire. He stepped closer, the floor creaking softly beneath his boots.

"Because once," he murmured,

"you swore you'd never forget me. even when heaven fell."

The lamp flickered. the rain outside stopped. and somewhere deep in Jungkook's chest, the black veins glowed red.

Hello 👋 sweeties🥰 This is author thank you so much for reading my novel. this is my first novel book. please support me, let's meet in next chapter. byee..

"crimson veins"- chapter-2:The mark of the crimson vein.

The silence between them felt alive.

Like the air itself was holding its breath.

Jungkook stood frozen, his pulse drumming in his ears. Taehyung didn't move - he only watched, head tilted slightly, eyes soft with something between nostalgia and regret.

The room smelled faintly of rain and iron.

"You're not real." Jungkook whispered "you can't be."

Taehyung's lips curved into a faint, knowing smile.

"You always said that,"he murmured. "Every time we met again."

Jungkook's brows furrowed. "Met again? I don't even know you."

Taehyung's gaze flickered downward - to Jungkook's chest, where the faint red glow still pulsed under the skin.

"Then why does your body remember me when your mind doesn't?"

The question made Jungkook's stomach twist. He pressed a trembling hand to his heart. The veins there responded to his touch - glowing brighter, warmer, as if reaching for the voice that had spoken his name.

"What are you?" he demanded. "Some kind of ghost? A hallucination?"

Taehyung's eyes gleamed gold."No," he said softly. " I'm what you loved before you were human."

The words hit him like a strike of thunder. Jungkook's breath caught;his vision blurred for a second.

Before he was human?

He wanted to laugh, to call it madness - but the pulse beneath his skin told a different story. hos body felt like it recognized something his memory didn't.

......................

Taehyung stepped closer. The air between them trembled, heavy with something invisible but ancient. Jungkook could smell it - smoke and rain and something metallic, like lightning about to strike.

"Don't come any closer. " Jungkook warned.

But Taehyung did - slow, deliberate, his shadow swallowing the light.

his hand reached out, stopping a inch away from Jungkook's face.

" You painted me,"he whispered. "Even after all this time."

Jungkook's throat went dry. "How would you know that?"

Taehyung's smile deepened, sorrowful. "Because I felt it. Every stroke. Every memory you buried. "

The air shimmered faintly around him - the outline of black wings, almost invisible in the dark, glimmering faintly like smoke and ember. Jungkook's heart hammered painfully against his ribs.

" What are you doing to me? "

"nothing," Taehyung said, voice low, almost tender. "It's already begun. "

And then - Jungkook's body arches as a sharp, searing pain bloomed across his chest. He gasped, clutching the glowing veins as they spread upward, crawling towards his throat like fire beneath glass.

Taehyung caught him before he fell, his hand cold but steady.

" Breathe," he whispered. "It's the mark remembering its origin. "

Jungkook choked on his breath, eyes watering. "what-what Origin? "

Taehyung's gaze met his - fire and sorrow blending in his golden irises.

"you were never meant to stay human, " he murmured. " you were bound to me long before this before this world was born. "

...----------------...

The room dimmed. The lamp flickered once, then went out. For a heartbeat, the only light came from Jungkook's chest - the crimson glow illuminating both their faces, painting their skin in blood and warmth.

Jungkook stared up at him, caught between fear and something deeper - recognition.

"If this is a dream, "Jungkook said shakily. "Then I don't want to wake up. "

Taehyung's fingers brushed his jaw - gentle, reverent.

"it's not a dream,"he said. " It's a reminder."

A low rumble echoed outside, like thunder cracking thunder the clouds - but it wasn't thunder. It was something older, darker.

Taehyung's expression changed - his jaw tightening, eyes narrowing toward the window.

" They found you sooner than I thought. "He muttered.

Jungkook blinked. "Who- "

the glass of the window shattered before he could finish. A violent gust of wind tore through the room, scattering papers, canvases, paint - everything.

Thought the shards of rain and moonlight, two figures in silver armor appeared on the fire escape. Their wings glowed faintly white, their eyes cold.

"kim Taehyung of the Hollow court. " one of them said, voice echoing like distant thunder. " step away from the mortal. "

Taehyung's jaw clenched. He moved instinctively in front of Jungkook, black feathers materializing at his back like smoke.

"He's not yours to touch. " Taehyung said, voice low and dangerous.

"He is marked." the other angel said. " He belongs to Heaven. "

"He belongs to me. "Taehyung snapped.

The air cracked like lightning between them.

Jungkook pressed a hand to his chest, his pulse frantic. The ted veins under his skin began to shimmer brighter, reacting to The tension in the room - to Taehyung

" Taehyung. " He whispered. "What's happening? "

Taehyung didn't turn around.

"You're remembering too fast. " He murmured. " Hold on to me. "

Jungkook didn't even think - his hand reached out, fingers clutching Taehyung's sleeve. The moment their skin touched, a wave of heat and light burst outward, engulfing the room.

The angels shielded their faces, shouting something Jungkook couldn't hear - the sound drowned by the roar of wind and fire.

And then, in one blinding flash + everything vanished.

......................

When Jungkook opened his eyes again, he wasn't in his room anymore.

The rain was gone. The air smelled of ash and rose petals.

He stood beneath a black sky streaked with crimson stars, vast and endless.

And beside him, Taehyung stood fall - his wings fully unfurled, dark and magnificent, his eyes glowing like twin suns.

"Welcome home, "Taehyung said quickly. " To the Hollow court. "

Jungkook stared, the world spinning around him - his heart pounding with fear, awe, and something terrifyingly familiar.

Because deep down, he knew this place. He had been here before.

And he had loved this demon once - enough to damm himself for enternity.

heyy cuties 🥰what's up 🫰 this is auther thank you so much for read my story. love you all my heartu.

"Crimson veins"- chapter 3: The Hollow court.

The first thing Jungkook notice was the silence. It wasn't empty - it rang, like a song on the edge of memory. Then came the heat. Soft at first, then heavier, pressing down on his skin like a whisper of fire.

The sky above stretched endless - black silk streaked with threads of red light, stars pulsing faintly like open wound. Below his feet, the ground shimmered darkly, obsidian dust scattered with crimson veins that glowed faintly with each step he took.

He stood on a cliff overlooking a vast valley. Rivers of liquid fire wound thought the shadows, and on the distance, towers rose - jagged, glasslike, their tips bleeding light into the sky.

It was terrible.

and breathtaking.

"Is this... Hell? "Jungkook whispered.

Taehyung turned to him, a faint smile curling his lips. His wings arched behind him, feathers ripping like ink in water.

" No, "he said softly. " This is older than Hell. This is where Heaven buried its mistakes. "

He stepped closer, his eyes glowing faintly gold in the half-light.

"welcome to the Hollow court - my home. "

...----------------...

They walked down a path that glowed faintly beneath their feet. The air shimmered with heat and the faint scent of iron and roses. Jungkook's heart pounded with every step.

"You said I'd been here before." Jungkook said finally, his voice small against the vastness. "How? Why can't I remember? "

Taehyung's expression darkened.

"Because remembering would kill You - again. "

Jungkook frowned "again? "

Taehyung looked away, his jaw tight. "The crimson veins is a curse. It binds us thought lifetimes, but it demands a price each time it awakens. You die, I fall deeper. "

"Then Why bring me back here. "Jungkook asked quietly.

Taehyung stopped walking. He turned, and the look in his eyes nearly made Jungkook step back - fierce, vulnerable, desperate.

"Because I can't lose you again. "

For a moment, neither of them spoke. The world seemed to hold its breath - The air thick with heat and something raw, ancient, unspoken.

Then a soft sound broke the silence - a low hum, almost musical. Jungkook looked up. All around them, shadows moved.

Figures stepped out of the mist -tall, elegant, otherworldly. Their eyes glowed in shades of gold, crimson, and violet. Some had wings, some forms, some halos cracked and dim. Each one watched Jungkook with wary curiosity.

"They're demons, "Jungkook breathed.

"They're my court, "Taehyung said. " And they know what you are. "

"What am I?"

Before Taehyung could answer, one of the demon - a man with pale hair and eyes like burning coal - stepped forward, bowing low.

"My Lord," he said. "So the prophecy was true. The mark one has returned. "

Jungkook stiffened. "Prophecy? "

Taehyung's tone turned cold. "Enough, yoongi."

But yoongi only smirked faintly.

"He should know, shouldn't he? The crimson veins isn't just a bond - it's a key. to open what heaven sealed."

Jungkook's pulse quickened. "What does that mean? "

yoongi's smile was slow, sharp. "It means you're not just his lover, mortal. You're his undoing. "

......................

Taehyung moved in an instant. His hand shot out, gripping yoongi's collar. The air crackled, red lightning spider-webbing across the ground.

"One more word. "Taehyung growled," and I'll make sure you forget how to speak. "

Yoongi didn't flinch. He only smiled wider. "Still protecting him, even now? Some things never change. "

Taehyung released him, his wings trembling faintly as he turned away. Jungkook stood frozen, his breath shallow.

"You're hiding something from me. "

Jungkook said quietly.

Taehyung didn't answer.

" Taehyung. "

Finally, the demon prince looked up, his eyes meeting Jungkook's. The gold in them had dimmed, replaced by something darker.

"If you knew," he said softly, "you'd hate me. "

Jungkook stepped closer. "Try me. "

For a long moment, Taehyung said nothing. Then he lifted a hand, tracing a line in the air. The space rippled, revealing a faint vision - a memory.

A battlefield under a crimson sky. Jungkook - but not human - stood beside Taehyung, wings white and bright, eyes burning with light. Angels screamed overhead. Fire fell from the sky.

"You were an angel, "Taehyung whispered. " Heaven's most beloved. And you loved me - the fallen one. You choose me over them. "

The vision flickered. Jungkook's heart stuttered.

"I fell for you. And when they found out... "Taehyung's voice broke slightly. " You burned. They erased your name from Heaven's light. But even that couldn't break the bond. The crimson vein was born from your final vow - that you'd find me again, in every life. "

Jungkook's knees nearly gave out. He pressed a hand to his chest - the veins there glowing brighter, pulsing in rhythm with Taehyung's heartbeat.

"So I died for you, "Jungkook whispered.

Taehyung's eyes closed. " You always do. "

...----------------...

For a long moment, they stood there - two souls suspended between curse and destiny. The Hollow court watched in silence, the air humming with old magic.

Then, from somewhere deep in the shadows, a bell tolled - low and ancient. The demons stirred. Yoongi's smile vanished.

"They've felt the mark awaken," he murmured. "Heaven will come for him soon. "

Taehyung's wings spread wide, black features shimmering crimson at the edges.

"Then they'll have to come through me. "

Jungkook's heart pounded, fear and something wilder curling in his chest.

"Taehyung," he said, voice barely a whisper. "What happens now? "

Taehyung turned, his gaze softening.

"now? " He said, stepping closer enough that Taehyung could feel the heAt of his skin.

"Now you remember who you were. Before they take you away again. "

And when his hand brushed Jungkook's cheek, the world around them fractured - the Hollow court blurring into light and Shadow.

Memory rushed in like a storm. Wings. Fire. A vow sealed in blood and eternity. and Jungkook's voice - echoing thought time:

"even if Heaven falls, I'll find you. "
