Jose is sitting if comfortably on the living room sofa, making wedding plans and she’s all smiley. You can tell it’s really important to her.

Suddenly “Aaaaaaa” She screamed, she got a jump scare because,

“Bang,” The door slammed.

It’s Rick, he just can back form his office and his face doesn’t seem to tell something positive .

He walks towards thee bedroom, not even glancing towards Jose’s direction.

“Oh, hey babe,” Jose says in this sweet, almost angel like voice.

” How was your up day at the office?” Jose asks, trying to spark a conversation.

“ It was alright.” (Rather his face said other wise. )He replies vaguely, still not glancing her way, his voice grumpy and his face annoyed and he walks is off to the room.

As the door closed shut behind him, “ Probably rough day at work “ Jose says, trying to dismiss his behaviour.

10 minutes later “ Babe, what do you want to have for dinner tonight ?” Jose asks Rick form across the living room.

But there’s silence, she figures he probably didn’t hear her so she repeats the same question again.

“Babe, what do you want to have for dinner tonight ?” She ask again in awaiting a response from him. But still only silence.

She gets up and decides to go into the roommate personaly to go ask him face-to face.

She gets to do the door and doesn’t think to knock since she shares it with her fiancé.

As soon as the door makes the creaking sound, Rick panics instantly and tells the other person on the other end of the phone that they’ll discuss business the next day.

“ Ummm…. Eric I have have to go, We will discusss this tomorrow at the office.” And immediately, he cuts off the line.

“ Who was that” She asks.

“ Just a work partner,” he replied.

“ What was his name again ?” She shoot back, ( but not in a rude way ).

“ Why do you want to know ?” Rick asks her.

“ Oh sorry, if I am bothering you.” She said, seemingly apologetic.

“ His name is Eric.” Rick finally gave her the answer.

“ That’s a cool name,” She tries to lift the mood.

“ Yes, indeed, It is a cool name,” his voice very grumpy.

“ What did you want to say earlier when you came in ?” Rick asks, his face, now visibly annoyed.

“ Oh that, I just needed to ask what you wanted for dinner”

She was clearly now waiting for an answered, yet only silence. Had he not heard her or was he just ignoring her or what.

“Babe, Babe, Babe!” She snapped really loudly.

Rick was deep in thought by this time.

“ Y-y-yesss” He stammered.

“ What are you thinking about ?”

“ Nothing. It’s fine “

“ No it’s not fine, you’ve been absent minded since you got back from the office .”

“ I said it’s fine, so it’s fine.” his voice was clearly raised.

“ Sorry, I didn’t mean to shout like that.”

But Jose was already turning around, getting ready to leave the room as tears welled up her eyes.

“ I’m really sorry,” Rick tried to chase after her.
