A Tragic Car Accident
Sound of a violent, shattering impact, followed by the screech of tires and distant sirens. A mangled car wreck is visible under the harsh glow of streetlights. Elena is trapped, her face pale, the airbag deflated around her.
Her eyes are unfocused, staring at the shattered windshield. Suddenly, her mind clears enough for her to feel the warm, terrifying dampness spreading below. She looks down and sees the shocking amount of blood.

She tries to move, but a fresh wave of blinding pain hits her. A Paramedic rushes to her window.

Ma'am, stay still! We're getting you out! Just hold on!

She listens to the flat, continuous ring, her face contorting with helpless anger. She slams the phone down on the receiver, then immediately picks it up again and dials a second contact.

She leaves a message on an empty voicemail, her voice tight with desperation.
