Chapter 1: A Deadman's Flag

Rain poured down the marble steps of the New York of the Reich American Union, the eagle and swastika crest gleaming beneath the flickering streetlights. The war had ended not in Europe’s victory, but in America’s surrender. Two decades later, the stars on the flag were replaced by a black cross, and the old ideals of freedom had long been buried under propaganda and fear.

In this dark world walked Detective Dominic Andersen, a man of order, loyalty, and secrets.
