My Vampire,My Merman
The Blood-Moon War
The world was divided long before either of them were born — between those who ruled the night and those who ruled the sea.
Under the crimson glow of the Blood Moon, two kingdoms had waged war for centuries.
The Vampires, creatures of elegance and cruelty, believed the ocean’s magic belonged to them — that blood and tide should be one power.
The Merfolk, graceful and fierce, believed the land-dwellers’ thirst was a curse that would taint the ocean forever.
Every generation, battles erupted at the coastlines — blood staining the waves, waves devouring the fallen.
Legends said even the moon wept each time its reflection touched the red water.
???
Vampire Elder: The sea must kneel, or drown in its arrogance
???
Merfolk Commander: We will never kneel to corpses that drink to live.
And so, the war continued
Yet amid the endless fighting, whispers spread through both clans — a strange prophecy.
It spoke of a vampire whose heart would be taken by the sea, and a merman who would die for the night.
They were said to bring either eternal peace… or eternal ruin.
Both sides laughed.
Until, one night, when the blood moon rose brighter than ever before — and two souls looked up at the same sky, neither knowing they were about to rewrite history.
Prince of the Deep
Beneath the raging ocean, in a kingdom made of coral and shadow, lived Prince Ricky, the youngest son of the Sea King.
He was adored for his courage, envied for his power, and cursed for his curiosity about the land above.
The sea had raised him to hate vampires — to see them as heartless predators who drained life for sport.
But Ricky wasn’t like the others.
He wanted to know why the moon always turned red before a war, why the waves grew violent when the first blood was spilled.
???
Sea King: You will lead the raid near the reef. Show the nightwalkers the strength of our tide
Ricky
And if they surrender?
???
Sea King: Then drown them. Mercy is not for monsters
Ricky nodded, but inside, he felt the weight of something deeper — a question he couldn’t silence.
Was every vampire truly evil?
Or were they, like him, just trying to survive in a world built on fear?
As he swam toward the edge of the reef that night, his tail shimmered silver under the moonlight.
The water trembled with the sound of battle above.
And when he surfaced — sword of coral in hand — the first thing he saw wasn’t a monster.
It was a wounded man in black armor, blood dripping into the sea.
He didn’t know yet… but that man would change everything.
The Red Shore
The battlefield reeked of iron and salt.
Bodies of both vampire and merman washed ashore, crimson waves dragging them back into the deep.
General Mark Lysander, commander of the Blood Court, moved through the wreckage with silent fury.
He was not just a vampire — he was the king’s blade, known for ending wars before they began.
But that night, the war refused to end.
???
Soldier: General, we found movement near the reef!
Mark
Finish it. Leave none alive
Yet when Mark reached the reef himself, he found not a soldier — but a boy, half-human, half-glowing blue tail, bleeding into the sand.
The merman’s breathing was shallow.
Every heartbeat pulsed like a wave struggling to survive.
Mark raised his sword, cold and sure… but then the merman opened his eyes.
Those eyes — deep, ocean-blue, full of defiance and fear — stared right through him.
He had seen thousands die, but never someone look at him like that.
Ricky
(weakly)Go ahead… monster. Make it quick
Mark
…You’re a prince, aren’t you?
Ricky
Why? You plan to brag about it after you kill me?
Mark
No. I plan to understand why you’re smiling while you’re dying
