Okay, enough teasing. Let’s meet our cold CEO and his chaotic intern.
Grab your iced Americano and dive in—
The elevator doors opened with a soft chime, revealing a sleek, modern office floor that looked more like an art gallery than a workplace. Everything gleamed — glass walls, marble floors, minimalist décor — the perfect reflection of its owner’s personality: flawless, cold, and intimidating.
The youngest CEO in Seoul’s corporate world. A man people whispered about but never dared to look in the eye. Ruthless, brilliant, impossibly composed. Rumor had it, he’d never smiled in public since he took over Jeon Enterprises five years ago.
And that morning, his life — and reputation for control — was about to be tested by a single cup of iced Americano.
Kim Taehyung ran down the corridor, balancing a tray of drinks like it was a bomb about to explode. His dark hair stuck to his forehead, and his ID badge swung wildly around his neck. He was already ten minutes late delivering the coffee order to the executive meeting room.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“Why do rich people need five different kinds of coffee?” he muttered under his breath. “It’s all caffeine, people!”
He slowed his pace as he reached the final turn, taking a deep breath. He’d been at Jeon Enterprises for exactly three days — barely enough time to learn where the restrooms were. One more mistake, and he was done.
He squared his shoulders.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
You got this, Kim Taehyung. Just deliver the coffee, smile politely, and don’t spill anything.
Unfortunately, fate had other plans.
The door to the CEO’s private office opened just as Taehyung turned the corner.
And that was when everything happened — in slow motion.
A tall man in a black tailored suit stepped out, his presence so powerful that it made everyone around instinctively lower their voices. His hair was styled perfectly, his expression unreadable. He looked like he belonged on the cover of a luxury magazine.
Their eyes met — for exactly one second — and in that moment, the tray tilted.
Cold liquid splashed across Jungkook’s pristine white shirt. The sound of the coffee cup shattering on the marble floor echoed like a gunshot.
Complete, deadly silence.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung’s heart plummeted to his stomach. “Oh my god— I’m so sorry! I— I didn’t mean—”
He scrambled to grab a handful of tissues, dabbing frantically at Jungkook’s chest.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“I can clean this—”
A hand shot out, gripping his wrist tightly.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Don’t touch me.”
The voice was calm — too calm. But the cold fury in it made Taehyung stop breathing. Jungkook’s dark eyes bore into him, sharp and unrelenting.
For the first time in his life, Taehyung understood what power really felt like — not loud or violent, but quiet and suffocating, like standing at the edge of a cliff.
Jungkook looked down at the brown stain spreading across his shirt, then back up at Taehyung.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Who are you?” he asked, his tone low, dangerous.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“I— I’m Kim Taehyung,” he stammered. “The new intern from the marketing department.”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
And this,” Jungkook said slowly, gesturing to his shirt, “is your idea of a good first impression?”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung’s throat went dry. “It was an accident—”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Accidents,” Jungkook interrupted, his gaze icy, “don’t exist in my office.”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
He turned slightly, giving his assistant a cold command. “Get me a new shirt from my car.”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Then his eyes returned to Taehyung. “You’re fired.”
The words hit harder than the impact of the coffee cup. Taehyung’s knees nearly buckled.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“Fired?” he repeated, his voice trembling. “But I— please, I need this job. My—”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Not my problem.” Jungkook’s tone was final. He turned away, dismissing him like he was nothing.
Something inside Taehyung snapped. Maybe it was pride. Maybe desperation. He stepped forward, blurting out before his brain could stop him,
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“You’re not even giving me a chance!”
Everyone in the hallway stopped breathing.
No one ever spoke to Jeon Jungkook like that.
The CEO turned slowly, his gaze sharp enough to cut through glass.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“What did you just say?”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung’s voice wavered but didn’t break. “I said—it was a mistake, and I’ll fix it. You can’t just fire someone over spilled coffee.”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
A muscle in Jungkook’s jaw ticked. “Can’t I?”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“You shouldn’t,” Taehyung said, his tone small but stubborn. “It’s not fair.”
Jungkook took a step closer. The air between them grew heavier with every inch that separated his cold composure from Taehyung’s frantic energy.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Fair?” Jungkook’s voice lowered to a dangerous whisper. “The world isn’t fair, Mr. Kim. If you want fairness, go find a playground.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung’s breath hitched. “You don’t have to be cruel.”
For a moment — just a heartbeat — Jungkook’s expression flickered. Something unreadable flashed in his eyes. But it was gone as quickly as it appeared.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Cruel?” he repeated softly. “No. I’m efficient.”
He turned again to leave.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung, desperate, blurted out, “Please! I’ll do anything to make up for it!”
That stopped Jungkook completely.
The CEO turned back, his gaze darkening, a dangerous smirk forming at the corner of his lips. He stepped closer until he was standing just inches away, close enough for Taehyung to smell the faint scent of cedarwood and coffee clinging to his suit.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Anything?” Jungkook repeated, his voice low.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung swallowed hard. “Y-yes.”
Jungkook’s eyes scanned his face — those wide, pleading eyes, that trembling bottom lip. There was something disarming about the boy’s sincerity, something raw that made Jungkook’s chest tighten in a way he didn’t like.
He leaned closer, his tone almost a whisper.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Fine. You’ll work directly under me. Starting tomorrow.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung blinked. “Wh-what?”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“You said you’d do anything. You’ll be my assistant. Personally.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“But I’m just an intern—”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Then consider this… an extended evaluation,” Jungkook interrupted, his smirk never fading. “You’ll either prove yourself useful, or you’ll be gone before the week ends.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung’s heart pounded in his chest. “I—okay. I’ll do it.”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Good,” Jungkook said, straightening his tie. “Then we have a deal.”
He walked past Taehyung, leaving the faint scent of his cologne and an unspoken challenge in the air.
When Jungkook entered the elevator, his assistant looked up, startled.
Jk Assistant
“Sir, are you sure about keeping him?”
Jungkook didn’t answer immediately. He glanced down at the faint brown stain on his cuff, then at his reflection in the elevator mirror.
For the briefest moment, he could still feel the ghost of Taehyung’s fingers brushing his chest, the frantic warmth that lingered on his skin. It was… unsettling.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Keep his file on my desk,” he said finally, voice sharp again. “Let’s see how long he lasts.”
As the elevator doors closed, Jungkook’s reflection stared back at him — calm, collected, emotionless. But deep inside, something unfamiliar stirred, something he hadn’t felt in years.
Meanwhile, Taehyung stood frozen in the corridor, the weight of what just happened slowly sinking in.
He was still trembling — from fear, from adrenaline, from the way Jungkook’s gaze had felt like it was peeling back every layer of his soul.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“His assistant?” he whispered to himself, dazed. “I’m doomed.”
But as he picked up the shattered pieces of the coffee cup, a stubborn spark ignited in his chest. He wasn’t going to let some cold-hearted CEO destroy him.
Not when he had people depending on him.
Not when he had something to prove.
He straightened his back, clutching the tray tightly.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“Fine, Jeon Jungkook,” he muttered under his breath. “You can glare all you want. I’m not quitting.”
That night, as Taehyung walked home under the soft drizzle of city rain, he couldn’t stop thinking about Jungkook — the way his voice dropped when he said “anything,” the flicker of something human behind those cold eyes.
He hated himself for noticing.
And somewhere across the city, Jeon Jungkook sat alone in his penthouse office, staring at the city lights through the glass wall. His phone buzzed with a message from his assistant confirming tomorrow’s schedule:
Jk Assistant
“New intern Kim Taehyung assigned as your personal assistant. 7 a.m. start.”
Jungkook didn’t reply. He simply leaned back, his gaze distant.
He told himself it was irritation — that this intern was just another inconvenience.
But deep down, he knew it was something else. Something he hadn’t felt in years.
He closed his eyes and exhaled slowly.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Kim Taehyung,” he murmured, almost to himself. “Let’s see how much chaos you can bring into my world.”
And outside, lightning flashed — as if the universe itself was warning them both.
Neither of them knew it yet, but this accidental meeting would unravel everything.
It would turn cold control into obsession.
And obsession into something Jungkook swore he’d never allow himself to feel again.

Aaaand that’s the end of today’s chapter! 😭💖
Did Jungkook go too far? Is Taehyung in danger? Or is this the beginning of something spicy? 👀🔥
You tell me!
The First Morning as His Assistant
Author
Hiii my lovely readers! 💕
Welcome to today’s chapter! Before you start, please prepare your heart because things are about to get extra dramatic 😭🔥
Author
Our cold CEO and chaotic sunshine assistant are stepping into another mess today—so make sure you’re ready for tension, surprises, and maybe… a tiny spark? 👀💘
The sun hadn’t even risen yet, but Kim Taehyung was already running.
His tie was crooked, his shirt halfway tucked, and his hair… well, it wasn’t cooperating. He checked his phone for the tenth time.
Twelve minutes until the start of his “evaluation period.”
Twelve minutes until he had to face Jeon Jungkook again.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“Why did I agree to this? Why did I say ‘anything’?! Why do I have a mouth!?”
He rushed toward the elevator, nearly colliding with an elderly janitor who gave him a pitying look.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“You have no idea,” Taehyung muttered before the elevator doors shut.
Jeon Jungkook sat behind his massive black desk, already reviewing three files at once. His hair was perfectly styled, his charcoal suit crisp, and his expression its usual unreadable coldness.
On the outside, he was the definition of control.
On the inside…
He was annoyed.
And he hated being annoyed.
He drummed his fingers on the desk.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“If he’s late…”
He didn’t finish the sentence. He didn’t need to. The entire floor knew what it meant when the CEO was in a bad mood: silence, fear, and zero mistakes.
But the irritation wasn’t just about punctuality. No.
He was irritated because he had thought about that intern—
Taehyung—
far more than he should have last night.
Jungkook clicked his pen harder.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Ridiculous,” he muttered to himself.
Taehyung burst into the office floor, panting lightly. The moment he stepped in, every employee turned their head.
Whispers spread like a wave.
Taehyung forced a smile, bowed awkwardly, and hurried straight to the CEO’s office. His palms were sweaty. His heartbeat was too loud.
He knocked once, took a deep breath, and pushed the door open
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“Good mor—”
Cold. Sharp. Quietly displeased.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“You’re one minute early,” he said flatly.
“Good.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung blinked. “Oh. Uh. Thank you… sir?”
Jungkook didn’t respond.
Instead, he slid a thick stack of documents across the table.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Your tasks for today.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung gulped. “That… that’s a lot of tasks.”
Jungkook leaned back, eyes boring into his.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“You said you could handle anything, didn’t you?”
His tone was calm. Neutral. But the challenge in it was unmistakable.
Taehyung nodded solemnly.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“I did. And I can.”
The corner of Jungkook’s mouth twitched—just barely. Not a smile. But something.
📄 1. Organize Jungkook’s entire schedule
📄 2. Prepare his breakfast
📄 3. Recheck every contract for the meeting at 10 a.m.
📄 4. Bring his coffee exactly the way he likes it
Taehyung stared at the list.
Then stared at Jungkook.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“You want me to do all of this before the meeting?”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Yes.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
In three hours!?”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Two hours and fifty-eight minutes now,” Jungkook replied without looking up.
Taehyung let out a silent scream.
Taehyung rushed to the break room and started preparing Jungkook’s exact order:
Iced Americano
One sugar
2 ice cubes
No straw
He double-checked everything.
He triple-checked.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“Okay… no more disasters today,” he whispered.
He carried the cup carefully back to Jungkook’s office, walking as if the floor was made of explosives.
When he entered, Jungkook was signing documents.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung set the cup down gently.
“Your coffee, sir.”
Jungkook glanced at it.
Then at him.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“One sugar?” he asked.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Yes!
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Two ice cubes?
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Yes!
Jungkook slowly picked up the cup, took a sip, and—
Taehyung held his breath.
Jungkook’s eyes narrowed.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“It tastes different.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung’s soul left his body.
“I—I swear I followed exactly—”
A faint smirk appeared on Jungkook’s lips.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Relax. It’s fine.”
Taehyung blinked.
Wait…
Was that…
Jeon Jungkook teasing him?
Taehyung sat on the small sofa, flipping through pages full of legal terms that made his head spin.
Jungkook occasionally glanced at him, noticing the way Taehyung’s eyebrows furrowed, the way he chewed his lip in concentration.
It was distracting. Too distracting.
He forced himself to look away.
Except his gaze drifted back again.
And again.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Focus,” Jungkook muttered to himself.
“He’s just an intern.”
But the problem was—
Jungkook didn’t even stare at interns.
He barely remembered their names.
(So why was this one different?)
Why did the entire room feel warmer just because Taehyung was in it?
Why did the stupid coffee smell better today?
Jungkook clicked his pen in irritation.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Kim Taehyung.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung looked up immediately. “Yes?”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Stop biting your lip.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung blinked. “Huh? W-Why?”
Jungkook’s jaw tightened.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
It’s distracting.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung’s eyes widened.
“Oh. Sorry. I didn’t know you watch me so cl—”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“I don’t,” Jungkook cut in quickly.
Too quickly.
Taehyung stared, confused. Jungkook cleared his throat and looked back at his documents, pretending he wasn’t silently mortified.
Taehyung stood nervously behind Jungkook as the CEO reviewed the last contract.
Jungkook was leaning forward, sleeves slightly rolled up.
The sight made Taehyung gulp softly.
He didn’t mean to stare…
But Jungkook in “work mode” was dangerously attractive.
Focused. Sharp. Confident.
Jungkook noticed the silence and turned.
Taehyung snapped his gaze away so fast he nearly pulled a muscle.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Are you nervous?” Jungkook asked.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung nodded honestly.
“A little.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Because you’re… um… you.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Jungkook raised a brow. “Is that supposed to mean something?”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung’s cheeks reddened.
“You’re intimidating.”
For a moment, Jungkook looked almost… amused.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Good,” he said quietly.
“It means you’re aware.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“Of what?”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Power
Jungkook held his gaze for a long moment—longer than necessary.
And something in the air shifted.
Darker. Warmer. Heavier.
Taehyung felt his heart stumble.
Jungkook suddenly stood up, breaking the tension.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Come,” he said, putting on his coat.
“You’re following me to the meeting.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“M-Me? Why?! I’m just the intern!”
Jungkook looked down at him, eyes unreadable.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
You’re not ‘just’ anything, Mr. Kim.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
(What… did that mean?)
Before he could ask, Jungkook brushed past him, the faintest ghost of warmth lingering where their shoulders touched.
Taehyung blinked rapidly.
His heart had absolutely no right to beat that fast.
As they stood waiting for the board room to open, Jungkook spoke without turning his head.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Don’t make noise. Don’t interrupt. Don’t speak unless someone asks you.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung nodded nervously.
“I’ll be quiet. Like a mouse.”
Jungkook’s lips twitched.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Good.
Then he added, almost too softly:
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Stay close to me.
Taehyung’s breath caught.
Why… did that sound like something else entirely?
Before he could process it, Jungkook placed a steady hand on his lower back, guiding him forward as the doors opened.
The touch was brief—
but strong enough to send heat rushing up Taehyung’s neck.

The conference room doors slid open with a quiet click.
The moment Jeon Jungkook stepped inside, the atmosphere shifted.
Executives straightened in their seats. Conversations died instantly. Even the air itself seemed to hold its breath. Jungkook walked to the head of the long glass table with calm authority, his presence commanding without effort.
And just half a step behind him—
Taehyung’s heart pounded so loudly he was convinced everyone could hear it. He kept his head slightly lowered, just like Jungkook had instructed, but his eyes flickered around nervously.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Stay calm. Don’t speak. Don’t mess up, he repeated to himself.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Jungkook took his seat.
“Let’s begin.”
Taehyung stood behind him, tablet in hand, posture stiff.
From the corner of his eye, Jungkook could sense it—Taehyung’s tension. The way his shoulders were too tight. The way his fingers gripped the tablet like a lifeline.
Not because Taehyung was nervous.
But because Jungkook… cared.
Employee
“CEO Jeon,” one of the senior directors spoke up, adjusting his glasses. “There’s a discrepancy in section three of the contract.”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Jungkook didn’t even glance at the document.
“Page 12. Clause B. Subsection two,” he replied smoothly.
Employee
The director paused. “Yes, but the projected numbers—”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“They’re intentionally conservative,” Jungkook cut in. “We’ll exceed them by Q3.”
Murmurs spread around the table.
Taehyung blinked, impressed. He glanced down at his tablet instinctively—and froze.
The discrepancy the director mentioned…
Taehyung had noticed it earlier while reviewing the documents.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
(Should I say something? No. Jungkook told me not to speak.)
Employee
The director frowned. “With all due respect, CEO Jeon, the intern who reviewed these contracts might have missed—”
The word intern echoed sharply in the room.
Taehyung’s chest tightened.
Before he could shrink further into himself, Jungkook spoke—his voice calm, but dangerously sharp.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Be careful with your words.”
Employee
The director stiffened. “I didn’t mean—”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“My assistant didn’t ‘miss’ anything,” Jungkook said coolly.
“But if you have doubts, you may address them properly.”
Every eye turned toward Taehyung.
Taehyung’s breath hitched.
Jungkook tilted his head slightly—not looking at him, but speaking just loud enough.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Kim Taehyung.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung swallowed. “Y-Yes, sir?”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Explain.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
(Explain? Me? In front of everyone?!
Jungkook finally looked back at him.
And for the first time, Taehyung didn’t see coldness.
Something inside him steadied.
Taehyung took a small step forward.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
The discrepancy exists because the market analysis doesn’t account for the overseas expansion scheduled in phase two,” he said softly, then continued more confidently. “Once that’s implemented, the numbers will align.
One of the executives nodded. “He’s right.”
Another added, “That makes sense.”
Employee
The director cleared his throat. “…I stand corrected.”
Taehyung exhaled shakily.
Jungkook leaned back in his chair, lips curving ever so slightly.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Meeting adjourned.”
As the executives filed out, whispers followed Taehyung this time—but different.
Employee
That intern’s sharp.
Employee
No wonder the CEO kept him.
Taehyung didn’t know where to look.
When the room finally emptied, Jungkook stood up and turned to him.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
You did well.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung’s eyes widened. “R-Really?”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Jungkook nodded once.
“But next time—don’t hesitate.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung hesitated. “But you told me not to speak.”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“I told you not to speak unless necessary,” he corrected quietly.
“That was necessary.”
Their proximity made Taehyung’s heart race.
Jungkook noticed.
He always noticed.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“You looked scared,” Jungkook said.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung laughed nervously. “I was. Everyone was staring.”
Jungkook’s gaze darkened slightly.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Let them stare.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung looked up at him. “Huh?”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“You’re mine to evaluate,” Jungkook said calmly.
“Not theirs.”
The words settled heavily between them.
Taehyung’s cheeks warmed.
The office lights dimmed as the sun set outside. Taehyung was organizing files when he noticed Jungkook still working.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“Sir… it’s already past eight.”
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Jungkook didn’t look up.
“You can go.”
Taehyung hesitated. Then quietly set a cup of coffee on the desk.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
“One sugar. Two ice cubes.”
Jungkook paused.
He looked at the cup.
Then at Taehyung.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“You remembered.”
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung smiled shyly. “Of course.”
Jungkook took a sip.
Something inside his chest tightened—uncomfortably warm.
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
“Kim Taehyung,” he said suddenly.
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Yes?
Jeon Jungkook/Jk/CEO
Why do you work so hard?
Kim Taehyung/Tae/JK's Asst.
Taehyung blinked, then looked away.
“Because I have to.”
Jungkook studied him in silence.
He didn’t push further.
But for the first time in years—
Jeon Jungkook wanted to know someone’s story.
And that realization terrified him.
