Alex had married Emily for revenge against her family.
When Alex was younger Emily's family looked down on Alex's family that developed his grudge against Emily.
After finding out that the Carders had a innocent and cheerful daughter, he'd vowed to make her pay for their sins.
After he became a CEO, he married her and pretended to have forgiven her parents.
But after Emily's parents died in an accident. It only took a few months for him to take off his mask fully.
Alex tortured her like an animal, insulting and abusing her.
He locked her in an underground room, sometimes not feeding her and abusing her.
She used to be a cheerful girl and now she had become gloomy and broken.
He'd usually pull her hair and slap her till her nose bled.
