In New York City, in a small house on the corner of Lahing Avenue, lives a girl named Katharina. Born on July 15, 2020, she has grown up learning to trust her instincts—because, as the ravens seem to warn, you should always be aware of what happens on the street. Katharina lives with her brother, Brook, and her sister, Charlotte. Their father is rarely home, always working, and their mother… their mother was killed.

On a long, cold night, Katharina sat by her window, staring into the darkness and wondering what moved out there in the deep, endless world. She always knew when the ravens were out—when they were awake, restless, ready to play their strange midnight games. Katharina never wanted to join them. But she couldn’t help watching, fascinated and uneasy, as they searched the street for whatever it was they liked to play with.

Katharina bent over her notebook, writing again. She recorded everything: the ravens’ games, the exact times they played, every second that felt wrong. It was the only way to keep track… the only way to feel safe.

Katharina always felt the need to discover all about Raven although they scare her she seems to find undying void of fascination

They both suddenly hear someone walking up the steps into the attic

They both stay quiet until dinner is prepared by Charlotte and Brook

Dylan heads downstairs to join Charlotte and brook to eat their delicious Ramen shrimp and broccoli soup

Katharina walks off all happily, putting the pocket knife into her back pocket and skipping back to our house before anyone notices. It took her five minutes to get back to her house. She climbs through the window, closes it make sure to lock it and gets in the same spot.

Katharina gets under her covers feeling relieved that nobody is pressuring her at this moment, she gets one of her pillow And hugs it tightly, after a few minutes Katharina falls asleep

Katharina opens her eyes to what seems her laying down in the middle of a forest. Katharina rises slowly from the forest floor and begins to wander through the trees, brushing dirt from her palms. The woods around her feel wrong—too still, too cold. Her disorder has always bent the world at the edges, but tonight, the edges feel sharper. As she walks, the silence grows heavier. No wind. No rustling leaves. Not even the distant hum of insects.

Screamed a mysterious voice from out of nowhere, Katharina feels a shiver down her spine, hands start sweating, legs start shaking, looking around for what seems to be in a void that is never ending

katharina starts looking around desperately to find anything she could use either to defend herself or somewhere to hide she first thought of climbing onto a tree, but whatever this thing might be will kill her in an instinct

Then Katharina realizes she shouldn’t have said that out loud. The words seem to echo back at her from the darkness, and a cold dread crawls up her spine. She starts searching desperately for help—any sign of another person, any hint that she isn’t alone—but the forest offers her nothing except terror. In the shifting shadows between the trees, she sees shapes that make her stomach twist: bodies hanging unnaturally, heads tilted at impossible angles, blood dripping steadily onto the roots below. For a moment she thinks it must be rain starting to fall, but as the thick, warm droplets land on her skin, she understands with horrifying clarity that she was wrong. The shivers running through her grow into violent tremors. Her hands shake uncontrollably, fingers barely responding as she reaches out to steady herself. Her knees buckle, and she nearly collapses.The air feels too heavy, pressing against her chest, making every breath a struggle. Then suddenly she hears something running fast at her running with incredible speed, She didn't know what to do other then cry and scream

Katharina falls to the ground.The wild beast appeared out of nowhere fastly running out at her until he appeared in front of her face breathing heavily blood/everywhere, sharp claws, glowing, bright eyes, katharina finally closed her eyes

katharina opens her eyes to her, laying in her bed in her attic

katharina is still trying to understand what just happened to either if it was real or just a dream

Katherina walks to the bathroom Dousing her face in cold water

Katherina looks into the mirror and realizes that their is a little red mark on her forehead٫ her eyes Widen she tires to get it off with some more water then with a towel

Katherina belly Rumbles

Katherina tried everything thing even down to using a blow dryer but nothing worked

Katherina heads downstairs into the dining room to see that her two brothers and sister are watching the news٫ she gets her food and sits down

A little latter their father comes home from work

their father heads on the kitchen٫ he gets his food and goes to the dining room takes a seat right next to Katherina

Katherina looks up at her dad

Katherina tires to brush it off by laughing and changing the subject

Katherine's father let's out a chuckle

Katherina cleans her plate up and heads upstairs٫ She sits on her bed and pulls out her phone

Katharina puts her phone away waiting for Lillan

A little later the doorbell rings, Lillian meets everyone and heads upstairs, she opens the door and sits on the bed

Katharina passes the “Roses”

Katharina shows the mark which was once small now bigger, Lillian looks at her with big eyes

Katharina has tears in her eyes, Lillian gets in close and hugs her tightly
