So this is gonna be the first episode hi I go by LILS! And I just got on the app I hope you guys like my story! So let me start with the characters then the backgrounds
Li Lu
This is Lu li she’s the general’s daughter who the Emperor what’s to marry as the imperial concubine
Li Lu
This is Li hong the general who’s also Lu li’s father he may only make one appearance im not too sure
This is Lu De’er she calls him De’er gēgē because he’s her older brother he has albinism he may only make an appearance once I’ll see
Li Lu
I know I know some of my photos look terrible but let me cook! Let me cook! This is her brother Lun gēgē him and de’er are Irish twins so they’re the same age but are apart by a few months

This is her slave girl named Tùzǐ she’s kind and slightly naive but very smart and quick with her tongue and feet

This is the emperor himself Song yungxing he’s not cruel or kind just cold and diplomatic he does what he does to get it done
Empress dowager
This is the empress dowager her name is Lü mei but nobody calls her by her name. She hates being disrespected but she’s very disrespectful and careless with her words she’s also very cold and diplomatic she doesn’t really like Song YungXing cause he’s not her biological child but they keep the relationship working so there’s the ability to communicate together
Zheng Wu
This is Zheng wu and he is Song YungXing’s bodyguard and assistant where ever the emperor is Zheng wu is always there he’s quiet and loyal
Lihua
This is Lihua (the wise consort) Lihua isn’t her actual name ever since she became a consort her identity as the marquis’s daughter is always overlooked in the Song manor she’s merely a birthing vessel she stays because the emperor has convinced her that he loves her but really the emperor loves no one
Lishu
This is Lishu (virtuous consort) she isn’t kind she’s quite scheming but she’s just like every other consort in this harem she’s just trying to survive using a mask of innocence. Shes pregnant and quite far along
Loulan
This is Loulan she’s the most dangerous concubine though she presents herself as pure that’s why the emperor even titles her the pure consort which is what Loulan means she truly isn’t she was merely a servant with a pretty face and a facade of innocence but the amount of blood she has in her hands tells a different story everyone in the song manor knows except the emperor himself of the concubine’s cruelty
Lihua and Song YungXing are childhood sweethearts who everyone pushed into the commitment of being together the two of course had an attraction to each other but they didn’t really know each and they were only teenagers
Li Lu is15 years old currently the emperor is 20 and the rest of his concubines are the same age as him though she’s young she’s approaching the age where she can be wed and the emperor knows that so he’s taking advantage of a young and obedient wife who will do whatever he wants to do
Li li’s father is 50 and her brothers are 25 years old the empress dowager is 55 years old

*the emperor can’t help but smile at his response general Hongs behavior reassures him that he’s a good ruler since he’s the one ruling over them* in fact there is something I’d like *he says walking over to Lu li * your daughter….*he murmurs pulling her up to her feet gently tilting her head up* I see she’s grown up…slightly chubby but quite curvaceous and very good looking I believe she’s make a perfect addition to my harem *he murmurs huskily*

They all nod in unison as they head to the dinner hall he continues assisting Lishu so she can walk while she waddles she looks over her shoulder to a smug smirk on her face the concubines all notice and huff softly in annoyance but Loulan keeps her composure she knows there’s something fishy about Lishu’s pregnancy but she won’t mention it

They all make suggestions and settle down on stir-fries shrimp, fried goose and wensei tofu soup they’re all laughing and smiling but there’s a underlying tension in the atmosphere
