Monday morning
It is Monday morning in Northern High
The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the day is just starting. Students are talking about their weekends with friends in front of their lockers or trying to get their things for class.
Noah
*Walking down the hallway with his group*
North
*matter-of-factly* We're having math this morning
An idea suddenly pops in Noah's mind. He smirks and stops, spinning to face his friends.
Noah
*rolls his eyes* lets skip class
Nina
Is that really a good idea? *folds her hands*
Noah
What's the worst that could happen?
North
We get caught by The class president and he's bunch of nerds
Getting caught by the class president and his bunch meant trouble for them. The group were terrified of the nerds, though the last thing they would ever do was admit it. Because admitting it meant admitting the real reason they loved getting on the nerds bad side.
North
*Whining* But I really don't want to sit through a whole math class!
Noah, Darcy and Nina: Same
There's a beat of silence....
The four of then giggled.
The bell rang and while other students were hurrying to get to their class, the group of four subtly headed for the exit. Unknown to them, someone was watching them leave with a frown.
Nyle
*Pushes his glasses up and turns around, heading through the crowd of students*
*Nyle passes the bulletin boards, turns the corner toward the student council room. He reaches the door, pushes it open and enters inside*
Gorgeous
*Sitting on the couch by the window and reading a biology textbook*
Nyle
*Rolls his eyes and drops his book bag on the table*
Nyle
They skipped class again.
They all sighed, tiredly.
Devon
Do they never get tired?
Gorgeous
They know we always get them.
Nyle
*shrugs* I think they like getting chased
Damian
Off course they do. They especially like it because they know we'll come after them.
The four share an amused, fond look with each other, then Gorgeous closes her book.
Gorgeous
*Sighs* lets go get them before they get into 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 trouble.
Damian
*Laughs then smirks* Oh they won't, I'm sure they know what happens if they 𝘥𝘰.
The four share a look again and it's like a message is passed among, a message only the understand. Then they're all standing up to leave.
The great escape
Noah, North, Dracy and Nina take turns playing a lot of games, wining, giggling and just having fun.
They completely forget that they're supposed to be in school and instead focus on the game
Noah
*Checks his watch* Woah, it's been almost an hour.
Nina
*Giggles* Did we really get away with skipping school without getting caught by 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮?!
The group giggles happily.
North wins the latest game then moves aside, turning to look at his friends.
North
I think it's time for food.
Darcy
*Nods* We at least have time to get food and then make it back for second period.
The group of four leave the arcade and head into the McDonald's just a few blocks away.
They take a sit in a boot by the wall, close to the back then order their food.
Nina
*Sipping her smoothie*
Darcy
*munching on his fries*
Four familiar figures walk into the restaurant.
Nina
*spits out a mouthful of her smoothie* oh fucking shit!
Nina
*Ducking under the table* Nerd alert!
The other three's eyes widen, and they turn around, sure enough the four student council members are in the restaurant.
The other three immediately duck under the table.
Darcy
*whispering* oh this is soo bad.
North
We're in so much trouble
Though they know they're in trouble if the nerds' catch them, the tingling feeling from being the center of the nerds attention like they always are, makes them happy though they try not to show it.
The Nerds walk to the counter to order, distracted and the troublemakers take that as a chance to escape from the restaurant.
Damian
*sees them leaving from the side of his eyes*
The nerds had seen them the moment they walked into the restaurant but acted like they hadn't. It was really easy to spot them, the nerds always kept the troublemakers in their vision.
Nyle
*sighs* Are we just going to let them go? I mean do they really think we're that stupid? *chuckles*
Gorgeous
*shrugs and picks up her Boba order* it's always fun that way
Devon
*hums* makes the chase.....delicious.
The four laugh loudly, take their remaining orders, they head to the table the troublemakers had abandoned.
Damian
*takes a bite of his sandwich while looking at his watch* you think five minutes will be enough for them to think they escaped?
Devon
*hums while taking a bite of his sandwich* probably
Devon
School isn't really far from here, they'll probably be back by now.
Damian
*Sighs* We'll give them five more minutes.
Nyle
*hum, nodding* it'll give me enough time to revise for my chemistry test.
Gorgeous
*Snickers* Revision or not. You always pass
Nyle
*Smirks* Off course I do.
The troublemakers finally arrived at school after running all the way.
Noah
*Breathing hard* I have never....ever ran that fast.
The others nod in agreement.
North
*panting* At least we outran them
Nina
Let's just get to class and act like nothing happened.
The bell rings and everyone leaves their classroom to head for second period. The group of four waved goodbye to each other and head to their various classes.
