The campus buzzed with life as students hurried between classes, their laughter and chatter echoing through the wide, tree-lined pathways. Sunlight spilled over the modern glass-and-brick buildings, glinting off the polished walkways. Groups of friends gathered near the fountain in the courtyard, while others sat on benches, flipping through books or scrolling on their phones. The air smelled faintly of freshly cut grass and coffee from the nearby café, making the campus feel alive yet welcoming. It was the kind of place where everyone seemed to belong, yet mysteries and new faces promised stories waiting to unfold.
The first day of college was supposed to be normal... But nothing felt ordinary.
New college, new people's, new chaos, and me trying to survive. Haah 😮💨

As I was walking through the corridors of college there was a crowd everyone looking for a boy I was also curious but as I'm late so I walk away.

Listening to that person everyone remembers that they are getting late for the class.
Everyone settles to the class.
After some time teacher also comes.

ATTENTION EVERYONE TODAY WE HAVE A NEW STUDENT. WHO GOT TRANSFERRED TO OUR COLLEGE.

As the teacher announces a girl enters in the classroom.
That girl was non-other than our FL.

She was looking for a seat but wasn't able to find it.
Finally she finds a seat. She walks confidently and sits beside him. He stiffs a little, glancing at her curiously, unused to anyone that much close.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the day. Students hurriedly packed their bags, chattering about assignments and plans. Aravind, as usual, didn’t mingle—his expression calm, almost unreadable.

Finally! That felt like the longest class ever
( grinning, closing her notebook)

As classmates waved and joked around, Aravind remained quiet, standing a little apart. Yet, when Aanya approached him, he straightened slightly, attentive.

They two walked out together, the campus slowly emptying around them, and a subtle warmth lingered in the air - an invisible bubble that made his usual cold behaviour seems.... Different... Just for her.

Today also they came to college.. Today aanya came first so now she is sitting on her seat waiting for her new friend to come.
It's about class time but he didn't come till now.

Is he going to be absent today.? Ughh why didn't he tell me yesterday then. What I'll do alone here now. ( whispered to herself)
She is so focused on cursing him that she didn't notice that someone came and sit beside him unless he said something.

They both straighten up a bit, ending the conversation naturally.
After that looks like eternity the class finally ends..

Aanya and Aravind walk out of the class together, still carrying their notebooks. The corridor noise grows louder as students rush for the the break.
They reach the canteen counter.

I usually don't. Not this early. (shrugs)

Oh.... But you should...you barely had breakfast, I guess?
(looks at the menu board)

Still come on. Atleast a samosa or something. I'm buying.

A pause. He looks away for a second, then nods

They move to the counter. She placed the order, while waiting, there's a small silence not awkward but comfortable.

On the second day, I'm trying to be nice the only person who talks to me
He gives a tiny smile at that barely visible but real one

Food arrives. They sit at a corner table. And have their lunch break.
