A car drove across a busy road. Inside was a family of three —
A married couple in their forties, and their eighteen-year-old son.
The young boy was in the driver’s seat, his papa sitting beside him,
and his mother resting in the back seat.

You see that, Appa? I can drive a car now… just like you!
《 he said excitedly. 》

𝑷𝑨𝑷𝑨 :
《He chuckled. 》
You drive better than me, champ…
His mother leaned forward slightly from the backseat.
Unknown
𝑴𝑨𝑴𝑨 :
Baby, make sure you drive with care. Now stop talking while driving.
Unknown
𝑷𝑨𝑷𝑨 :
Here goes a nagging class…
《 he sighed softly. 》

𝑴𝑨𝑴𝑨 :
You said something?
《 his mother glared at her husband sharply. 》
They were happy, they were going home after a family day.
The boy was driving through the heavy traffic, focusing on the road when something unusual caught his eyes—a bright, sudden flash of fire from the left side.
Instinctively, he turned his head for one second to look. But -
That one second changed everything.
A truk driver lost his balance when he saw the same fire.
The truck crashed into the car with strong force.
The sound was loud — like metal breaking.
The hit was very strong.
The boy’s body jerked forward suddenly.
Because of the force, he flew out of his seat and hit the front windshield, breaking the glass.
The broken glass gave way and the boy fell outside, onto the road.
He slid on the ground and rolled a little before stopping.
The papa and mother were still inside the car.
The front of the car got crushed badly when the truck hit them.
The metal folded inwards, trapping their bodies in the seats.
They couldn’t move.
The air was filled with smoke, dust, and the sound of the engine dying.
People around gasped and ran toward them.
Cars stopped.
Some held their hands over their mouths in shock.
Others shouted for help.
Soon, a crowd gathered.
Someone called an ambulance.
Everyone prayed the nightmare would end.
But for the boy, the world had already gone dark.

A small parking booth, cramped and quiet, usually made of glass or metal. Just big enough for one person to sit, it sits at the edge of a parking lot.
Inside, the attendant can watch cars, collect fees, and help drivers. The walls reflect light, and the space feels isolated from the busy world outside.
A faint sound came from the old TV, small and fragile, ready to go off.

《 He looked outside, feeling bored. It was his first day here. He had left his old job and was now sitting in place of the old man who usually worked here. 》
The little phone in his pocket vibrated. He looked at it, but with the person coming closer, he didn’t want to answer. It kept ringing again and again. But he ignored it.

《 He looked at the TV to keep from getting bored and feeling lonely. It felt like someone was there, talking to him. 》
His gaze wandered to the tiny door as a sudden knock sounded. The sound made him pause, curious and a little uneasy about who was outside.

《 He was about to ask, but before he could, someone stepped inside, opening the door with the ease of someone who had been here many times. 》

Don't eat everything.. Only little bit, or you will be sick. 《 said sitting in a chair that he used to sit always. 》
Holding a piece of apple, he pressed it into the other person’s hand and held up the box of homemade cake.

《 He glanced at the apple that stuffed in his hands and the person briefly;
they were close but still a little apart. 》

In an instant, the blind boy sensed something strange. The place felt familiar, but today it was different.
He could feel it, and he knew his grandpa wouldn’t be so quiet.
This wasn’t his grandpa—then who was it?

Who are you?
《 he asked, his voice full of confusion. 》

Grandpa ! Were is grandpa ?
For a second, Taehyung noticed the other’s eyes… they weren’t really on him but somewhere to the side, unfocused, as if searching. It was then clear—he was blind.
The other’s face was puzzled, his eyes empty of expression, but Taehyung could feel as if he was being watched, even though he knew the other couldn’t see.

He quit today...

《 His lips parted in a gasp, trying to make sense of what was happening. 》
Before long, he felt a little shy for just popping in unannounced…
He wasn’t usually shy, but barging in and offering him the cake he’d made felt adorably awkward.

Ah ! 《 laughs in embarassment 》
𝗝𝗘𝗢𝗡 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗢𝗢𝗞 ~
I used to come here daily and watch drama with grandpa until bus arrives-
He said all this, to make other understand why he entered like that but now he felt talking to much.
𝗝𝗘𝗢𝗡 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗢𝗢𝗞 ~
Sorry to interrupt! 《 he said with a sheepish smile, running his hands through his hair. 》
Taehyung gave a tiny, almost imperceptible nod, even though he knew the other couldn’t see it.

《 He grabbed the box and headed toward the stick, pushing the door open as he went. 》
𝗞𝗜𝗠 𝗧𝗔𝗘𝗛𝗬𝗨𝗡𝗚 ~
《 looked up, He watched him walk outside, a cloth over his head like a hoodie. 》
