The Visual Arts & Ancient History classroom was unusually silent.
Everyone froze as Professor Han entered with a serious face and a pile of papers.
Professor Han
“Good morning. Listen carefully. Your semester starts with a research project.”
A wave of complaints filled the room.

“Sir, a project on the first day?”

His eyes stopped on a strange black book resting alone, almost glowing.

“Jimin… look at that book.”

“What? Why are you whispering?”
Taehyung pulled it out. The cover was black leather with silver symbols.

Taehyung
“This one. I’m choosing this.”
Jimin
“Vampires? Are you serious?”
Taehyung
“Something about it… feels like it chose me.”
He didn’t know that he just opened the first door of fate.

Taehyung placed the vampire book on his desk that night.
His room was dim, only a single lamp glowing.
He hesitated, then slowly opened the first page.
The text didn’t stay still. It moved like dark mist.
Taehyung
“Is this… normal?”
The symbols twisted and changed into English on their own.
Book: Blood is fate. Blood is power. Blood remembers its rightful owner.
Taehyung
“I’m definitely hallucinating.”
He grabbed his phone and called Jimin.
Jimin
“It’s midnight, idiot. Why are you calling?”
Taehyung
“The book changed on its own.”
Jimin
“Books don’t change. You need sleep.”
Suddenly, the window rattled. A cold breeze entered.
Taehyung
“Hello? Is someone there?”
He felt eyes watching him. Not scary—more like someone was drawn toward him.
Jimin
“Taehyung? Are you listening?
Taehyung
“…I think something is here.”
Before he could close the book, a voice echoed inside his head.
Voice: I finally found you.
Taehyung
“What the hell was that?!”
The words in the book changed again.
“The Eternal Bond awakens.”
Taehyung’s pulse rose, warm and strange. Like someone far away was sharing it with him.
The real story had begun.
