“Let me erase all your worst memories.” Abhishek said gently, while fixing her hair with his right hand.

“How- ..What do you meeeann?” she said histating, pushing his hand away from her.

“And who are you in the first place , I don't even know you are, and you are saying this bullshit. What do you think of yourself?”

He stands up and bends over her, “Who am I? It's really hard to answer Pihu.”

He held her in his arms and then started walking, carrying her purse on his shoulder of course.

“It's strange we just met a while ago.. Umm.. Huh? Waaaiittt!! How do you know my name?? Who are you really? Put me down now!!” She started shouting all the way to the room.

“Is she sleeping right now?”

“Yes.”

“What are you planning to do now?”

“What else do you think? I need her, isn't this enough!” He stood up suddenly and moved towards the bed.

“Manny don't you know that she just broke her small heart, how do you expect me to leave my lil kitten right now in this situation?” he said with a smirk.

“Do whatever it's not my problem! But don't move fast you know she is still in her trauma.”

Manny moved towards the door.

“Yes I wait until she is ready to be mine , until then take care of that asshole, who made my lil kitty hurt.”

“Oh- okay!” Manny said while leaving the room.

Next morning, 8:01 AM

“Aahh... My head hurts. What's the time mm.”

Pihu checks her phone.

“ Aaahhhhh, I'm late!! I'm late where's my slippers, I'm going be fired today for sure !! Why did I woke so late yesterday... I wanna go home . Mummyyyyy!” she shouted while rushing here and there. Then she realised she is not at her apartment , she glanced at her phone and saw that today is sunday.

“Wait a minute, where am I? Mm yesterday I was at the bar then...”

Silence

“What then? Huh i don't remember anything. Ugh it's so annoying and full of headache.” she cried while putting her hand on her head.

Phone ringing sound .. “Tring ring ring ring..”

Picked up her phone.

“Pihuuuu!! Where are you? Why aren't you answing my calls? Don't tell me you forgot about today! Say up you dummy!!” shouted Aishwarya.

“Huh.” replied Pihu.

“Huh? What huh? You really did forget about me! Suman was totally right.” cried Aishwarya at the call.

Pihu remembered instantly that, it was 29 Jan means Aishwarya's birthday. Aishwarya Aswal is her best friend from 11th grade and till now.

“Nooo..!! Aish you are misunderstanding everything, I was actually half asleep so I don't know how to react but now I'm back to my senses.” Laughed Pihu, took a deep breath and said, “ Haapppyyy birthdayyyy to my happiness!! Miss Aishwarya Aswal or My heart!! I'm sorry for the late wishes coming back from my workplace right now, wait for me!”

“Okay okay waiting for you dummy! Get back soon and safe .” said Aishwarya.

“Yess madam.” Pihu smiled gently and put her phone on her purse.

The room was a mess she washed up and then left that room wondering when and how did she ended up there.

At the Pihu and Aishwarya's apartment at 9:00 Am

“So how many guests are invited today? I'll do the arrangements according to that.”

“Umm.. I made a list of that , where did I put it again... Oh yes it's on that table.”

“You and your weak memory. Okay so let me see this .” she checked the list and started to read it.

“Oh so there are not many guests hmm...... Aish who is this Abhishek?” she looked at Aishwarya.

“Abhishek? Oh it's Kartik's friend , he himself asked me because he is so so brosick if he doesn't see him for a few hours, GODDD!!!

“Oh that means jiju is also coming .. It will be good to tell him how childish you are... hehe.” said Pihu giggling. ( jiju\= brother in law / boyfriend or husband of sister's or friend's)

“Heyyyyy!!! What are you planning huh? I don't see your good intentions after that giggle!! Don't you dare to do anything that makes me in trouble.”

The room was filled with laughter and happiness and just like this few hours passed.

In the evening at Aishwarya's room at 7:30 pm.

“ Aww my... I love you Aishwarya like how can someone look this good on this outfit. So adorable you look like a living fairy. ” said Pihu adoring her Aishwarya.

“Just Pihu and her praising sweet mouth! Are you in the mind of making me have diabetes? Huh? Hehe thank you so so much darling, so when are you planning to look like an angel rather than looking like a disaster? Hmm??” asked Aishwarya stretching her eyebrows.

“ Hey i don't take much time you know and it's running late your guests might have come. Go to the terrace I'm coming in a while okay!!” said Pihu while pushing Aishwarya.

“Okay I'm going right now. But come fast there and be presentable okayyy??” Aishwarya said while leaving the apartment and going to the terrace.

“Yes, ma'am!! Now go!” Pihu said chuckling.

Later at the stairs to the terrace.

As always Pihu is late to the party and is in a hurry now. She was running towards the terrace and got bumped into someone, and he was a man.

“Aahh.” said Pihu while falling down the stairs,, but a hand of help just appeared of that man she just got bumped into.

“Careful ” said Abhishek , then pulled her upwards and held her tight.

A strange yet familiar feeling got into Pihu she looked up to see Abhishek's face and left his hand, and moved backwards into a distance from him.

“Thank you so much, i would have fallen and had broken my feet.” Pihu said smiling.

“Mention not , and be careful now onwards on your way.” replied Abhishek turning back to the terrace's way.

“Yes, but I haven't seen you here before. Have you shifted here or something?” asked Pihu histatingly.

“No i came here with my friend to her girlfriend's birthday party.” Abhishek replied casually.

“Oh you must be Kartik's friend, Abhishek Negi am I right?”

“Yes , and you are...?” asked Abhishek (in his mind : My lil kitty.)

“Oh I'm sorry , i haven't even introduced myself right. I'm Pihu Rawat the birthday girl Aishwarya Aswal's best friend. It's nice to meet you Mr. Abhishek ”

“I'm also pleased to meet with you Ms. Pihu, then shall we get inside everyone would be waiting for us.”

They entered the party and it started almost 5 hrs was the maximum time the party lasted so it was the time for every guest to return.

“It was so amazing thank you everyone to make my special day more special, have a safe trip back to your home .” Aishwarya greeted the guest while smiling at the main gate of the colony.

“Okay baby I'll be going back now, you also go back to your apartment now” said Kartik to Aishwarya.

“ I will , have your cab arrived ?” asked Aishwarya

“Yes , so go back now.” said Kartik while opening the door . “Good night baby , love you.”

“Okay bye baby love you, have a safe trip back home .” said Aishwarya smiling. “ Bye Abhishek have a safe trip.”

“Bye Aishwarya and Ms. Pihu have a good night ” said Abhishek while closing the door of the cab.

Pihu waved at them smiling and the cab engine started up, both of them returned to there apartment.

“ So how was Abhishek? Did you have fun with him ” asked Aishwarya.

“He is cool and fun to be with but why do you ask?” replied Pihu with a question.

“You know what Pihu I can't lie to you , I'll just move to the point. I want you to date him ” said Aishwarya.

“What!? ” asked Pihu shockingly.

“You know he is a great guy, a well behaved person and moreoverly he respects you as I saw . You have to move on from that bastard , it's already been a month since I saw you smile so generously like you did when you were with Abhishek . ” explained Aishwarya.

“ I understand your concern Aish but I'm not in the position now to date someone. Please don't make it hard for me, I'll be going to bed, gn .” Pihu replied in a different tone.

She entered her room and closed the door and lay down on the bed. While thinking about those ungrateful years when she was with Vasu . Her ex Vasu Bhatia at her college years.

First day of college: 22nd August 2022, 8:00 Am at Rishikesh.

“Pihuuu ... Wake up darling otherwise you'll be late on your first day of college ” shouted Pihu's Mother.

“Good morning Mummy and Papa ” said Pihu coming from the stairs.

“ Ohh look at my baby all dolled up , and someone was saying that she is going to be late? ” said Pihu's Father chuckling.

“Oh come on Shaurya I was just worried about her not being late on this special day, nvm Pihu come here and have your breakfast ” said Pihu's Mother while placing her plate.

“ Mummy, Papa did you forget I don't like to eat alone! ” said Pihu in a childish tone.

“Alas , coming babygirl ” said Pihu's father while putting the newspaper down on the table.

“Fine let's start what's for breakfast let me see mm..

wow!? Aloo Puri my favourite, I love you mummy yumm” said Pihu delightingly .

After breakfast she left the house saying good bye to her mother and father to the bus stop.

At the bus stop she waited for her bus and suddenly felt cramps on her stomach. When she stood up from that bench she looked at her skirt as it was stained all over . She was so scared and suddenly ran behind the bus stop and sat down while covering her face.

“What's wrong?” an unknown boy asked her.

As she looked up her tears stared to fall down. She started crying with an expression of being scared.

“Hey don't cry , did I do something to make you cry ? If so I'm sorry please don't cry.” he convinced her and gave her his handkerchief.

“I j-just got my period and ... and the stain is all over my skirt . I don't even have any sanitary pad with me and also my bus will be arriving soon. I don't know what to do.” she said while crying.

“Ohh , that's the problem.” saying this he ran somewhere.

She thought he left her and started crying again. After 10 mins he arrived again with a bag. She looked up.

“Here you go .” he said gently.

Inside that bag there was a packet of sanitary pad with a new skirt of the same color as she was wearing and with chocolate. She took that bag and went inside the public washroom that was in the back side of the bus stop.

“ Thankyou mister..? He is gone, as expected. ” she said disappointedly .

The bus arrived, Pihu took the bus.

She reached her destination, Malhotra's University (since 1960) .

“Hello , welcome to the university. I'm Manoj professionally a security guard but you can address me as your big brother as well.” said Manoj Kumar.

“Thank you so much M**anoj da from now on we will be under your care then**” she was the only one to reply to Manoj Kumar.

The whole crowd was seeing her as an outcast that made her anxious then suddenly a voice came from behind.

“Yes you are right we are so glad that our security guard is you Manoj da!”

She turned back, and look who it was? The same boy from the bus stand. They both started smiling towards each other as a sense of connection started into them.

After that the whole crowd disappeared as it wasn't there from the beginning.

“Hey. What's up?” said Vasu.

“Nothing much , i was just going to attend my class. And mm...Thank you” she said gently with a little smile on her face.

“Why are you thanking me?” he asked in a doubting tone.

“For what you did earlier in the bus stop, if it weren't you i would be able to make it up to college today”

“ Hey chill it's not something big anyone else would also do in that situation. It's called humanity!” he chuckled.

“ But still . Please tell me the total amount of money in that bag and the things in it. I don't have cash right now if you wouldn't mind if I can transfer online?” she said in a hurry.

“ Hey no!! I don't-” as he said she interrupted.

“ Okay I'll ask someone for cash” she started walking towards the guard's room.

“Manoj da-” as she said he pulled her hand.

And as a fragile girl as Pihu she fell upon Vasu's chest she looked up and suddenly pushed him back.

“ I-I mean I didn't help y-you for money why aren't you listening to me?” Vasu said hesitatingly.

“Oo-ohh I'm sorry but please i don't like to keep anyone's favor for long so.. ” she said nervously.

“ If you're so concentrated on repaying that how about you buy me lunch!? If you don't mind so..?”

“Why not? Today will be good then, meet at the cafeteria at recess. ” she said with a bright smile.

“ Okay I'll be waiting till then bye” Vasu said.

“ Byeee...” she left for her class saying this.
