New semester
BRRRRRRRIIING!!! Goes the alarm clock and BAAMMM!!! Goes yoongi's hand on the clock shutting it.
It looks as though they have a personal grudge.
yoongi groans as he tosses left and picks up the table calendar and looked at the date . It is circled in blank ink . He looks at the writing

*murmuring* New semester....can't wait
He gets up, shuffling into the bathroom. Few minutes later he comes out drying his hair, buttoning his shirt while walking towards the fridge, he sighs and takes out a piece of bread and an apple juice ,after eating, he looks at himself at the full length mirror in front of his wardrobe, slipping on his hoodie he threw his bag on his shoulder before stepping into the cold air and shutting his door behind him.
Outside,yoongi tucks his hands into his hoodie pocket and bent his head heading to school still sleepy. Everyone else is talking and laughing like they're excited to be back, and his just there locating his new class.
He looks at the class tag like a sworn enemy and whispers to himself

Just one more year....let's do this
He walks past all the chattering students, showing their new accessories and telling their holiday stories, some stole glances at him but he didn't care much he just goes straight to the back of the class , sits down and immediately puts his head on the desk continuing from where he stopped at home.
The homeroom teacher walks in the students stands greeting with excitement - all except yoongi

*scanning the room* yoongi are you still sleeping on the first day of school

*not raising his head* I'm top of the class anyways, I've earned the right to sleep
The students giggled, the teacher sighed

*finally raising his head* I'll add that to my long term goals*scoffs and turns his head the other way*
The homeroom teacher pinched the bridge of her nose, she was not ready to bicker with the top student at 8 am in the morning.

*gets up and looks at hoseok who is smiling at him* we have a chatter box now *scoffs and looks at the homeroom teacher*perfect way to start the semester
The transfer student
The bell rang and the students started switching books.
The next teacher walks in. He was the physics teacher - one of those teachers that always asks in answerable questions.
The class greets , he starts teaching and suddenly goes.
Physics teacher
So who can tell me the formula to solve this *points at the board*
The whole class goes dead silent- like all you can hear is people breathing
Physics teacher
*scans the room dramatically* Yoongi ??
Yoongi raises his head like a lazy cat and before he could even think of breathing someone stands up
Bright smile.Perfect posture.looking like the teacher favourite even though he isn't.
And then he just ... Answers.
Physics teacher
*shocked*Oh?...okay??
Yoongi slowly turns his head and glares at hoseok who is smiling like he didn't just commit academic betrayal
Yoongi stays awake for the rest of the class, having a self-declared war with hoseok answering questions left and right and hoseok just keeps up as much as yoongi grinning with each answered question- at this point yoongi is taking hoseok breathing personal
The teacher is low key amused but is pretending to be serious
Finally the bell goes and everyone starts packing their bags. The teacher stops by yoongi's desks and smirks a little
Physics teacher
You better watch out someone might steal your spot*smiles at hoseok*

*roll eyes and scoffs* not happening

*leans over with his signature sunshine smile brighter than ever* if it gets you to talk, then good.

*freezes*Did he just😶
Hoseok gets up and leaves the classroom all cheerful while Yoongi sits there questioning the meaning of life and competition.
