"Today will be a great day"

That's what I thought until the night came.

I woke up as I usually do, a bit disheveled and still sleepy because the night before I had stayed up talking to my best friend.

To tell the truth, I don't believe in fate, maybe I tend to believe morey in coincidences.

I got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom, I took a good shower, after that, I was ready to go to college, so I got dressed and went downstairs.

I was in a bit of a hurry so I grabbed a block and got in my car, thus taking the road to university, I saw the clock and it was almost time for first class.

"No, to top it all, the first class and I'm going to be late," I said.

I got to the classroom as soon as possible but class had already started.

"This day really can't get any worse" I thought, as I entered the classroom in silence.

The teacher looked at me and said: if you had entered 10 min earlier, maybe you would have been saved from detention, just sit down.

As soon as I finished the first period of classes, I headed towards the cafeteria where I would find my best friend

—Valua? VALUA— I listened as someone called me, I turned to look where the sound came from, and I saw her, my best friend Nicky.

I approached her and we began to talk, after a while of talking and talking, she invited me to a welcome meeting, although more than a meeting it would surely be a party.

— for sure I will go! — I exclaimed

Time passed and the bell rang to go back to class, so I ran to the classroom to arrive early, I arrived and sat at my desk, and so the other classes passed.

I was already leaving the university when the professor stopped me at the door and said: where are you going? As soon as he said it, I remembered that I had to attend detention, I sighed, then I spoke —oh yes, I had forgotten— then I turned around to take my way back to the classroom.

I got to detention, there was nothing interesting, but as soon as I sat down, a handsome boy walked through the door, he looked like the typical guy who would be in detention every day. We accidentally exchanged glances, as we did so I felt a small chill running through my body from each hair to the tips of my toes. The boy sat down in front of me, before I could speak to him, the teacher came to the room and began to give a bored speech about the reasons why we were in detention, to tell the truth I was not paying attention to what he was saying.

Well, my gaze was fixed on the boy who caused me that unique feeling, time went by thinking about what he would be called and why he would be in detention, when detention ended I did not remember anything that the teacher had said, I just got up and I left the room, still thinking about him.

All the way to my house I did not stop thinking about the exact moment when our eyes met, it seemed as if that had been longer than it really was, when I least thought about it I had already arrived at my house, I entered and ran to my room to get ready for the party.

After an hour it was already 6:30 pm almost time for the party, so I hurried and then left for Nicky's house, when I arrived Nicky welcomed me very happily and introduced me to his friends, he had a good time when the party started to get crazy, because the games started.
