I was walking down the hallways when the people around greeted me. I smiled and greeted them back like I always do.

I am a daughter of one of the richest family in the country, Euclers. Our family is just the second wealthiest clan after the Royalties. At least that is what the people around keeps saying.

Honestly, I just can't be bothered. I don't care about the money, I don't care about the position of every family in this country. What I want is to just live peaceful, but that's also one of the things I cannot have.

I am the only daughter, so they expect me to run our family's business.

"You're here." Said the President. I smiled and sat on the seat just in front of his table. He's my father but I call him President on my work place. He always tell me that family can not be treated as family in the work place, be professional. Always.

"Yes, sir." I said. He nodded without expression on his face. He's very serious that made me feel nervous. He's in his deep thoughts, like he's in a dilemma before looking at me right in the eye.

"Do you want to marry someone?" He suddenly asked that made me shocked. I can even feel my jaw dropping because of his question.

"Sir, I just graduated from University. That's not in my plans yet." I said, and sweetly smiled that we all know it's fake.

"I see." He said, disappointment were written all over his face but even so I keep my smile on like that didn't made me confuse. Does he want to get rid of me this fast? Is he having problems with his business? What do they want, why is he asking me?

Questions are rushing over my head, I want to ask him but I know I can't.

"Will you get mad at me if I arranged you with someone?" He asked once again, looking dead serious. I faked a smile.

"Dad, how can I get mad at you?" I asked, still smiling. He sighed and told me I'm dismissed. After leaving his office I still smiled on his employees as I strutted back to my office. That's where I let myself relax.

I sat on my swivel chair and frowned, sighing, I started doing my work. Trying not to think on what my father said earlier. I keep working and working until I couldn't feel my fingers and butt anymore for sitting, writing and typing for too long.

I just became aware of the time when my secretary, Andrea Jane knocked on my office and told she's going home. I forced myself to smile and nodded at her before she left. A sighed left my mouth as I crossed my arms over the desk and leaned my head on my crossed arms.

Without knowing, I fell asleep just like that. Next thing I knew is I woke up with a man sitting on the sofa that I have in my office.

His deep blue eyes is staring at me.
