( The pain )

zhang wei frowned his brows tighten in agony

" What! "

He murmur under his breath hearing hurry footsteps before focusing his eyes on a crying baby laying beside him which made him confused the more

" What's going on ? "

He asked no one but soon felt a very agony pain which pierce within his bone

" Ahhh !!!!"

He yelled not expecting such thing he could only grind his teeth he's eyes shut and wet before feeling more weak it was like something was being pulled forcefully out his body

Some one yelled totally shock by the scene right in front of the rest gush in disbelief watching fang cough out blood, his eyes closed, lips thin and body wet from sweat but what caught all their attention was the little spark of energy that kept flowing out of him into the child body beside him

" Quickly inform the clan leader"

Tang instructed a maid who hurry out leaving the rest who continue to gaze at such strange event

" Young master Zhang ! "

Tang called wanting to approach but was suddenly yank back by someone

The maids and servant quickly bow towards the young girl in surprise

They whispered but didn't dare to say their thoughts

He whispered with a blank expression studying Fang who lay unconscious body shivering before sighing

Tang paused not knowing what to say zhang wei was a boy who was always normal in all aspects and wasn't much in favor either however after the incident of his mom ( the second wife of the sect leader ) affair and elopement with a monk

Life wasn't that hard even though the sect leader never called off such unfair treatment

Tang had advice Zhang wei in giving up on the child since he wasn't going to live more than five months but Zhang had refused

Tang sighed in defeat he could only assist even though he knew it was hopeless until they came upon a strange book

" Tang I finally found something quickly bring him I want to try at least"

Those were the words he had said before everything went normal to worst

He was ashamed of himself for leaving if only he had stood and not ran out in fear seeing his disappointed look maybe he could have helped in a way or two

" Sir I "

Tang paused before finally saying

" Sir pleased save young master "

He falls on his knee alongside with the older maids and servant it took the rest mere seconds before doing the same

" Oh ! And why should I"

He raised his eyebrows at their pleas

Tang pleaded his hand folded in pleading just like the rest

     ( The truth )

  zhang wei frowned his browns while sitting upright the clapped of thunder made him realized he was still alive

 " so this world is nothing but a book or should I call it another paranormal world and time enterally "

He chuckled at. Such words holding his head if it wasn't for the pain he had felt while in the process of the core transfer

he would have still be stuck in his own illusion

  As a college student he was already in his twenties and studying in becoming a teacher however unfortunately an earthquake struck and he was among the unlucky ones who got buried

  As far as he knew about this world since it was novel his friend had wrote and published ( when the lights dim )

It was a classical martial arts novel which was both entertaining and thrilling however the only he had was the setting of each of the characters

  But then again that was his problem his friend became famous after the novel was acted

making it the top ten famous historical drama of the year

He was already unfortunate enough to had cross over into a book and what even made him more annoyed was that he been a character performing his role for over( 16 ) years without him even noticing

  if it wasn't for the agonizing pain he had gone through which scattered the illusion on his mind he would have continued living as a passerby character who was meant to die and forgotten either way

" zhang wei!! "

He was one of the few pitiful character who wasn't very important in any part of the story itself

In the main story Zhang wei mother ( noble lady A Ji ya ) Was forcefully married off to her husband at age 16 as his second concubine

 As the elders believe the first wife (zhang mi ) a very powerful martial artist among her time had strain her body and was unable to bear a child for her husband

 Even though she was barrier she was still loved by (Zhang churan ) her husband deeply

but the pressure of an heir pressure both couple that she decided to allowed her cousin to marry into her family

  A ji ya was just a second plan B for their childless problem

because it was decided that the children she would bear was going to be given to the first wife

  she was just there as an incubator for both couples

A Ji Ya soon born a son at 18 and was passed passed unto her cousin and wasn't allowed to even see him again

 her second child a daughter was also taken away forcefully which made her depressed

After two years later zhang mi soon got pregnant out of difficulty and born her first child (a daughter ) who was blind but was loved dearly by all

A Ji Ya soon found herself pregnant again with FEI FEI and was managed to raise her till she was Five (5 ) but yet again was taken by her so called husband

  A Ji Ya life became sad and lowly even the maids didn't even respect her apart from her personal servant and maid , her courtyard wasn't grand and her family wasn't supportive

After a year of FEI FEI departure her husband came unto her and she once again became pregnant with Xia fang

  when zhang wei was born he was extremely weak and couldn't be taken away from A Ji Ya who threatened to commit suicide

Seeing how serious she was some of the elders decided to let her be since she already bear two son's for Zhang mi

A Ji Ya had loved zhang wei dearly and was always around him in fear of him being taken away

her husband never came with in those short peaceful period leaving her in peace with her son

zhang wei grown up without seeing his father face much just twice a month over some occasion and would be sent back to his manor

Unlike his siblings his rank was low since he wasn't adopted by the main wife but that didn't matter he had really loved his mom dearly as well

However at the age( 8 ) after falling into depression once again after having a miscarriage

Her eyes became dull and lifeless but would try to smile at him once a while

He didn't know how the story went but before he knew it he started seeing he smile genuinely once again and life went back to normal

After his 12 birthday A Ji Ya had decided to elope alongside with the monk leaving nothing but a letter explaining her reason and how she would always love him

      The weather was cold and wet but yet two small pair of hands try squeeze out the thick blanket with a frowned

Bai ze yelled within his thoughts suddenly exhausted he could only listen to the thunder and the loud pouring of rain in defeat

 it been a month since he was suddenly thrown back to when he was still a baby , looking around the dim room which was extremely dark and lonely he couldn't help but felt helpless

  But anyway he was still him and that's what matters speaking about being a baby he wouldn't had believe he had been a child of wealth once

   grandpa tang had been the one who had raised him till (13) before he died from illness

That was when he finally cut ties with the Zhang family for good

  As for his father he knew his father had loved him dearly it wasn't any father who would give their core to their son to die in their place

  As for his mom he remembered he had try searching for her back then but wasn't able to find any trace of her

 It was like she never existed in the first place if it wasn't for his existence he would have believed no body like her even exist

   That was what grandpa had called his father unfortunately he didn't knew much about him neither his appearance

The only thing he do know was that he died at 16 leaving him behind for grandpa Tang to care for

For the past month he been listening to the nanny words about his father condition and the so called clan leader affairs

The older ( fuyao ) whispered with relief

" I told you he'll be fine "

The other added from the side annoyed

" you should never leave a small child alone what if he chokes or something don't forget this child is master fang child and the first grand child of the clan leader "

She whispered but her voice stain anger as she reminded her friend and fellow maid

" you go out and take some rest "

She gesture for her friend who blink confusing but excitedly

" you sure "

she asked fuyao who nodded her aura calm and collected not looking tired from the long day hard work

" i will care for little master for the night you take the night off "

She added leaving the other relief but still frowned upon realizing how troublesome it was just to care for a child this age

After hesitating for a second or two she decided to leave

After all she indeed needed some rest however she hesitate to take a step forward wanting to say something

Fuyao instructed leaving the second a bit scared she could only walk out with a hint of anger.

Not daring to say more seeing fuyao in such state of mind

Fuyao sighed softly her eyes glanced out the window listening to the rain before taking off the Vail gently

she whispered lost in her own thoughts and memories

She could remember how she had came to work for master fang

if it wasn't for him she knew her life wouldn't been this peaceful and for that she was great ful and was willing to fight anyone who bad mouth the little master

" Your father helped me when other's didn't and for that I promise to protect you till his return "

She thought her gaze focused once more out the rain the loud clap of thunder hiding the dark secrets of others in the night
