June 1987, when things begin to change in the quiet and peaceful town of redwood, when a mysterious entity appear a something that are beyond human comprehension.
Redwood was established during the fall of 1770, when Frankie Beverly declared its independence on the mainland.
Redwood became a conservative since it's separation, this resulted in the emergence of different views and perspective of every citizen living there.
The town has an authoritarian regime led by Glenn William, a former military general.
But the story starts here, on the evening of 1987 a mysterious noise was heard by residence near a mall, people are curious about this loud noise so they start wondering where it came from, one man name Briar Hollow looked peaceful from far away.
The moon dipped low behind the hills, painting the town in warm dark light. Leaves drifted through the air like they had all the time in the world. Bicycles rattled down cracked sidewalks. A cassette player echoed faintly from an open bedroom window.
If you paused long enough, you might think nothing bad could ever happen here.
But the ground was already awake.
the camera would pan slowly beneath the streets—past pipes, roots, and forgotten spaces—where something moved without sound. Long shapes curled and uncurled, learning the weight of their bodies. Learning the town.
Above ground, people slept.
Evan Miller jogged home from football practice just as the streetlights flickered on. His breath fogged in the cool air. He didn’t notice the silence until it was complete—no crickets, no wind, no distant cars.
Then the streetlight above him blinked.
The asphalt beneath Evan’s feet rippled.
In the morning, the town found his footprints stopping in the middle of Maple Street. No struggle. No damage. Just an absence so clean it felt intentional.
Evan returned the next day.
He stood on his porch, barefoot, staring at the door like he didn’t recognize it. His mother hugged him, crying, but Evan didn’t hug back. His eyes tracked something behind her—something that wasn’t there.
When asked where he’d been, Evan only said:
> “It knows my name now.”
By the end of September, Briar Hollow had learned a new routine.
Ignore the sounds. Avoid the drains. Don’t look too long at the dark.
Because something had begun to crawl out—and it was patient.
Cue ending theme: a slow pan of the quarry glowing faintly green beneath the moon.
