June 16th. Me and my friends along with few other people came to an abandoned village in Jeju.
There, a killer was hiding, not just one, but more. I've died countless times, and every time I die, I wake up, back to the day we arrived in the village.
The thing is, everything runs in a loop, die, revive, return, and everytime I get resurrected, my death would be a new one, and all of those deaths will be written on a book where it lists my deaths.
How do I get out of this loop? Telling them only leads to a misunderstanding, or even fights.
One thing's for sure, there's a way to stop this loop and that's what I need to find out.
I crouched beside the window, watching Ahyeon being murdered, the killer suddenly snapped its head toward me, its stare not leaving the window where I'm hiding.
Min-jae Han
"Fu-f*ck... Did it see m-"
I failed to finish my sentence as a hand clamped over my face. Intense pain erupted in my throat as a screwdriver was stabbed through it.
44th death: stabbed in the neck with a screwdriver by a friend.
When I opened my eyes again, I was back inside the minibus, lying across the back seat just as everyone was getting off one by one.
Hyun-joo Lee
"Oh, Min-jae hyung! I was just about to wake you up,” he said with a bright smile.
Hyun-joo Lee
"We just arrived."
Min-jae Han
"I'll catch up later, my head hurts."
Hyun-joo Lee
*Worried. "Carsickness? Wait, I think I bought some meclizines with me." *Rummages his bag.
Min-jae Han
"You don’t need to. I’m fine. It’s just… I’m not used to this place.”
What I said was a lie though. I knew the place like the back of my hand after being resurrected and killed over and over.
Hyun-joo Lee
"Ohhh. My bad, hyung. Don’t worry, I heard we’re having barbecue for dinner later.”
Every time I resurrect, it’s always Hyun-joo who keeps approaching me whenever I wake up. After more than thirty deaths, I’m already tired of dealing with him.
Seoran Shim
“Yo, Min. You alright?”
Min-jae Han
'Damn it these guys...'
Min-jae Han
"I'm fine." I said, standing up and walking pass them.
Seoran Shim
"What's his problem?"
It's too early to find useful things in the game. The game starts at 7:00PM, while the killer will appear in 7:30PM, I often die without reaching dawn, let alone daylight.
I Went inside the house, where I looked around the bookshelves.
Because everytime I die, it will be listed on my Death book but, only if I find a red colored bookmark before I get killed by the killer of course. I've earned more than 30 different deaths, each one of them was listed my so called death book.
