The Journey With You

episode 1

Jeonghan had been feeling tired and weak for weeks, but he brushed it off as stress from work. It wasn't until he started experiencing severe pain that he decided to visit the doctor. The diagnosis was devastating: Jeonghan had stage 3 cancer.

He was shocked and scared, but he didn't want to worry Seungcheol, who had been by his side through thick and thin. Jeonghan knew Seungcheol would be devastated if he found out, and he didn't want to be a burden to him.

So, Jeonghan kept his diagnosis a secret, telling Seungcheol that he just needed to take some time off to rest and recharge. Seungcheol was concerned, but he trusted Jeonghan and didn't press the issue.

As Jeonghan underwent treatment, he felt like he was living a double life. He would smile and laugh with Seungcheol, all while hiding the pain and fear he was feeling. It was taking a toll on him, but he was determined to protect Seungcheol from the truth.

Jeonghan's friends and family noticed the change in him, but he brushed it off as stress from work. Only his doctor and medical team knew the truth, and they were sworn to secrecy.

As the days turned into weeks, Jeonghan's condition worsened. He started to lose his hair and his energy, but he refused to give up. He knew he had to stay strong for Seungcheol, who was still oblivious to the situation.

Despite his efforts to hide it, Seungcheol started to notice that something was off. Jeonghan would flinch in pain, or suddenly become exhausted for no reason. Seungcheol's instincts told him that something was wrong, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Jeonghan tried to be extra careful, making sure to cover up his symptoms whenever Seungcheol was around. But the guilt and stress of keeping the truth hidden was taking its toll on him.

One day, Seungcheol showed up at Jeonghan's apartment, concerned about his partner's health. Jeonghan tried to hide his condition, but Seungcheol wasn't fooled. He saw the pain and exhaustion in Jeonghan's eyes, and he knew something was wrong.

"Jeonghan, what's going on?" Seungcheol asked, his voice filled with concern. "Tell me the truth. What's happening to you?"

Jeonghan broke down, tears streaming down his face. He couldn't hide the truth anymore. He told Seungcheol everything, and Seungcheol's face fell as he listened to the devastating news.

Seungcheol held Jeonghan in his arms, tears streaming down his own face. "Why didn't you tell me?" he asked, his voice shaking with emotion. "I'm here for you, Jeonghan. We'll get through this together."

Jeonghan sobbed, feeling a mix of relief and guilt. He knew he had made a mistake by keeping the truth from Seungcheol, but he was grateful to have him by his side now.

Together, they faced the battle ahead, hand in hand.

As they hugged, Jeonghan couldn't help but think about how much he loved Seungcheol, and how grateful he was to have him. He knew that he had made the wrong decision by not telling Seungcheol sooner, but he was glad that he was getting the chance to make it right.

Seungcheol pulled back, his eyes red-rimmed from crying. "I love you, Jeonghan," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "We'll get through this, okay? Together."

Jeonghan nodded, his heart full of love and gratitude. "I love you too, Seungcheol," he replied, his voice shaking with emotion. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner."

Seungcheol shook his head, holding Jeonghan close. "It doesn't matter," he said. "We're together now. That's all that matters."
