I've always hated the girl I see in the mirror

How she looks ,how she speaks, how she laughs, walks and everything she is

How she could never answer when she was supposed to and the faces of her fears and all her blues.

I hated the girl I see in the mirror

Ever since I was a kid,

But over time I stopped caring, or at least, I can say once I did.

The girl I saw everyday.

I stopped seeing her often lot.

Before I realized, she was disappearing, she was already lost.

I said I stopped caring. I really once did or maybe it was a lie led by my hatred

The girl I once saw in the mirror

Whom I always wished was gone

I guess my wish came true, she mixed with fog

The girl once in my mirror

Was she really that bad

The girl, who, with a smile, gave everything she had.

Maybe hating her was wrong, Maybe I made a mistake.

The girl who's lost in the mirror

I wish to bring her back, to show her she was beautiful, but I don't know how.

If only she saw kindness if only she was loved

This was one of my oldest, yet, the hardest poems, to write, I remember very less of what happened, around the time I wrote it... The question when it comes to falling in love is that, do u love whom u see in the mirror first, do u like them... And if u do, are u willing to give up on others, for them, by them, I mean, whom u see in the mirror, will u love them more than anything and anyone else, will u love them, no matter how hard it is to do so.... And will u fight for them, no matter what, will u hold onto your shadows, in hope of finding comfort in yourself, that, my dear, is, what will define how u love others, cause for falling in love with someone else, you need to fall in love with yourself first...., lastly, I hope u don't find this poem relatable, but if u do, just know, I'm here for u, I'll always be there for u, love till the end of Stars,

You know, to fall in love with someone else

U need to Love yourself first,

To care for the person u see before u

U need to care for the one you'll see in the mirror

You'll need to Love them, care for them, respect them, and understand them

In order to love anyone else freely

Cause it's not the people who prove how much or how u love,

But yourself, how u treat what u see in the mirror, and what u do to your own heart, soul and body,

Cause if u can't hold ur own shadow for comfort

You can't hold anyone else, cause home is where you're true to yourself,

So love, but love what u see in the mirror first,

And hold our soul, your shadow for comfort,

Dance in the rain by yourself, when u feel the need to be happy

And hold onto ur heart, when u need reassurance,

cause in the end of the day, u only have your soul and ur shadow, when no one is there

Well this one was a bit unique, atleast for me, to write, cause, it's my view on love life, cause, to fall in love with someone else, u need to, I mean NEED to love yourself first, and I know, it's the hardest thing to do, cause loving yourself, over loving someone else, is hard, but that's something we gotta do, no matter, it will take time, but trust me, it's worth it, and lastly, I hope this one brought u some comfort in any way, that's all from me, and as always, love you till the end of Stars,
