Characters Introduction

Outside the book: Atharva is a 23-year-old writer and engineer with a sassy, bold attitude and a deeply observant nature. Though confident on the outside, he is emotionally sensitive within. Single since birth, he is gay and quietly has a crush on a man in his society—feelings he has never confessed. Inside the book: Aastik is a 23-year-old engineering student. He is shy, innocent, and slightly under confident. Because of his soft and feminine behavior, his classmates often tease him. He was in a relationship with the mafia boss Kabir. In the final episode of the story, Aastik dies.

Outside the book: Yash is a 22-year-old junior to Atharva and his best friend. He shares Atharva’s sassy, bold personality and sharp observations. Currently single, Yash carries the scars of a past relationship that ended in a toxic breakup, making him guarded but fiercely loyal to those he trusts. He always squabbles with Tanmay. Inside the book: Vishal is also a 23-year-old engineering student and Aastik’s best friend. He studies in the same class as Aastik but has a completely opposite personality—bold, confident, and sassy. He was in a relationship with Dhruv, Kabir’s brother, but in the final episode, Vishal breaks up with him.

Outside the book: Pritam is a 26-year-old IT engineer who lives in the same society as Atharva. He appears cold and reserved, but is gentle and caring toward the people he knows well. He loves Atharva deeply but has never confessed his feelings, held back by fear and societal pressure. Pritam has a younger brother, Tanmay, who is currently living outside India. Inside the book: Kabir is a 30-year-old CEO of Kira Gold & Diamonds and the feared mafia boss of The Black Crown. Known for being ruthless and cold-hearted, he shows no mercy to anyone. However, after falling in love with Aastik, his behavior begins to soften and change slightly. In the end, though, Kabir commits an act that is completely unacceptable and changes everything.

Outside the book: Tanmay is a 25-year-old doctor and Pritam’s younger brother. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in the USA and is expected to return soon. He shares a similar personality with his older brother—reserved and composed—but is even colder in nature. As for his love life, Tanmay has gone through a painful breakup with his girlfriend; yes, he is straight—for now. He always squabbles with Yash. Inside the book: Dhruv is a 28-year-old COO of Kira Gold & Diamonds and the mafia boss of The Dark Throne, an organization allied with The Black Crown. He shares the same personality as his older brother—ruthless and commanding—but he softens only for Vishal, whom he falls in love with. In the final episode, however, he says something that causes their relationship to end.

Manipulative and ambitious, she craves money, power, and Kabir himself—partly for his wealth and influence, and partly for his undeniable charm. In the final episodes, she commits shocking acts that lead to the breakup of Aastik and Kabir, resulting in Aastik’s death.

Riya

Riya is a 26-year-old actress and younger sister of Neha, she is obsessed admirer of Dhruv. She is as same as sister Neha. In the final episodes, she commits shocking acts that lead to the breakup of Vishal and Dhruv.

Ruturaj

Ruturaj is a 23-year-old engineering student who studies in the same class as Aastik and Vishal. A single slap becomes the trigger for a dangerous revenge game between Aastik and Ruturaj. Consumed by hatred and ego, Ruturaj turns into the main villain of the story.

A messy room. Half-empty coffee mugs. Laptop on the bed.

The laptop screen is flooded with notifications.

COMMENTS FLASHING: “YOU RUINED AASTIK.” “KABIR IS DISGUSTING.” “WHY DO YOU HATE LOVE?” “VISHAL DESERVED BETTER.” “SEASON 2 SHOULD BE REVENGE.” “WRITER NEEDS THERAPY.”

Atharva scrolls calmly, sipping coffee.

He keeps scrolling.

Another comment pops up: "If I were Vishal, I would’ve kicked Dhruv".

Another: “If I were Aastik, I would’ve slapped Kabir.”

Atharva smirks

He cracks his fingers, about to type something—

The door opens without knocking someone enters

Atharva turns the laptop towards him.

Yash reads the comments and frowns

Yash points at the screen.

Yash scoffs

Atharva laughs

They both laugh and gave high-five

Atharva is about to record a Season 2 announcement video.

Screen glitches again.

A text appears on screen

Students chatting

Atharva slowly opens his eyes

He blinks

Looks around

A chalk hits him

Atharva looks behind him

No one reacts

One pen drop

The teacher stares

Atharva points at himself

Students start whispering

Teacher sighs

Atharva slowly sits, heart racing

And suddenly shouts

And before everyone could react

Atharva runs towards washroom

Atharva rushes in, locking himself inside.

He breathes heavily

Looks up at the mirror

FREEZES

A cute, soft face. But attached to a muscular, well-built body

Atharva touches his face

He shakes his head

He screams

Two boys outside the washroom whisper

Atharva splashes water on his face.

He straightens up

And making himself bit clam Atharva walks out.

As Atharva walks, students stare

Whispers everywhere

Suddenly— A hand grabs his shoulder

Enters the bully Ruturaj

Atharva blinks

Ruturaj laughs

Atharva looks around

No one intervenes

Suddenly a realization hits him, and he thinks

Ruturaj leans closer

Atharva smiles

Ruturaj smirks

Slap

The sound echoes through the corridor

Ruturaj stumbles back, other students get shocked.

The entire corridor freezes

Ruturaj holds his cheek, stunned

Atharva steps closer.

Ruturaj backs off, terrified.

Atharva adjusts his tie and walks away.

Students stare like they’ve seen a ghost.

Atharva mutters to himself as he walks.
