The loud noise of the bullet getting fired from the gun echoed in the whole mansion.
A man in a navy suit, holding the gun walked up to a woman slumped on the cold tile floor, mascara smudged and tears streaming down.
The man grabbed the woman's face harshly, enough to leave prints

You really dare disobey me?
The cold, interrogating voice sent chills down her spine. Her body went numb and her throat felt stuck.
She finally let out her words with great difficulty
Kim Aera
N-No.. H-honey.. I-I wouldn't dare! *crying*
Kim Young Hwang
Oh? So did my eyes stop working?! Did I see wrong?
Hwang pressed her chin harder while griting his teeth

N-No! It was my f-fault. I-I made a mistake h-honey! *cried out*

Mistake? *laugh* A mistake you say?!
Hwang laughed with no humour, sarcasm dripping like poison from his mouth
Hwang let go of her face and before she could relax a bit, he slid his hands in her hair and pulled it making her whimper, pain shooting through her scalp.
With her head pulled back, she shut her eyes close in pain crying silently. She feared he might get angry even more if she made too much noise

Honey? Are you in pain~?

*nodded with difficulty*

Words. *threatening voice*
Letting out every word felt like a burden to her. Her tears didn't stop it kept coming.

Then why did you do it?! *shake in anger*
Hwang pushed her head and slammed it forward on a glass table then pulling it back in an instant
The glass exploded beneath the impact, a sharp sound echoing in the mansion where even breathing was audible.
The world fell silent for a second. She didn't scream or yell, her body froze in shock.
She felt something thick and warm trickle down from her forehead and scalp. It slid down her face slowly as she felt every second of it. It finally left her face and dropped on the tile floor where the glasses shattered. A single red drop painted the glass and tile red. Soon after the blood dripped on the same spot, drop after drop
Aera's head felt heavy, dizziness clouding her brain. A ringing sound covered her ears, her vision blurring quickly and in that instant of impact, she was left frozen with her body still in shock and confusion

Tsk! *leave her hair*
And before Aera could understand what had happened to her, her head fell on the ground as she had no balance.
Hwang walked over her and left the mansion irritated
Aera's vision dimmed and as she watched Hwang leave with a puzzled expression, her eyes closed with her consciousness slipping away. The blood continued to drip off her face, staining the broken glass pieces and the cold tiles beneath her still body
The mansion fell silent again
The whole mansion was empty.... except for that one room.
In the closet of that room, two children held each other. Their bodies were pressed against each other, both of them were trembling and shaking with tears streaming down continuously from the elder one's eyes.
Even though the younger himself was shaking in fear he still spoke
Jungkook (13)
Hyungie! Don't cry..! W-we will be f-fine..
Jungkook (13)
W-we have each other hyungie.. We will be o-okay!
The elder said with a soft yet terrified voice while trembling and crying
Taehyung (15)
M-monster.. The m-monster will hurt us..
Both of them tightened their arms against each other as if they would vanish otherwise
Hyperventilating
As the sounds finally stopped the two children calmed down soon after.
Jungkook (13)
Let me..check hyungie..
Taehyung (15)
*holding him tightly* Nonono! What if he caught you right now! No!
Jungkook (13)
Shh its okay hyungie
Taehyung was trembling, the trauma his father gave him was far longer than Jungkook. He knew what that monster could do
Jungkook looked at Taehyung trembling, his heart ached looking at his hyungie like that
Jungkook patted his back and softly placed a kiss on Taehyung's forehead which calmed him down a little

Jungkook flashed a smile, even though he himself was scared, he encouraged taehyung.

Taehyung kissed Jungkook's forehead, his body still trembling a little

A painful smile was visible on Jungkook's face who knew what Taehyung had done for him~
Jungkook opened the closet door, trying his best to not make a sound. Taehyung slid his hand in Jungkook's and they both got out of there together

Hyung.. The car isn't there. He must have left!
The car Hwang liked would usually be parked in a spot that was visible through their window. That's how they hid and learnt to stay away from his reach

*nods* L-let's go check! A-aunt must be hurt
Tears trickled down from Taehyung's face and Jungkook hated it. Moreover so because he was crying for someone who didn't like him at all!
Jungkook (13)
Mom should be fine. But are you okay hyung? *asked softly*
Taehyung (15)
*nods* Y-yes.. Let's go
Jungkook gripped Taehyung's hand firmly, he couldn't bear his hyung to be taken away... again..
They both stepped out of the room, slowly going downstairs making sure they make minimal sound
They didn't even reach the bottom of the stairs when Taehyung noticed Aera on the floor, blood and glasses beneath her

A-aunt! *terrified*
Taehyung yelled as he let go of Jungkook's hand and rushed down to Aera.
The emptiness on Jungkook's hand wasn't pleasing at all. It felt as if his own limb had been cut off

*clenched his fist as he followed Taehyung*
Taehyung looked at the scene in front of him and he almost fainted
He was about to get down on his knees to look up at Aera when he was pulled away by Jungkook

The shattered glasses are everywhere hyung! You will hurt yourself! *frown*

B-but aunt Aera is b-bleeding-
Taehyung started hyperventilating, looking at the blood made him remember the darkest days of his life. He couldn't breathe properly

Jungkook didn't know what to do. He was helpless!
Looking at Taehyung, in that state made his heart shatter in pieces like the broken glass beneath Aera.
He couldn't stop the tears that flowed unknowingly.

Even in that state, looking at Jungkook's tears made Taehyung's heart ache. He clenched on his shirt trying to calm down. It took him a while but he finally calmed down
In an instant, Taehyung wrapped his arms around Jungkook.

Taehyung patted and caressed his back, the thing they both do to each other when one of them cries.

Lets call Aunt Mo.
Jungkook walked up to the telephone on the table beside them. He dialed the number of the only person who could help them

[Hello Aunt Mo! M-mom is hurt! She is bleeding! Help!]

In about half an hour, Aunt Mo rushed in the mansion

*hug Aunt* Aunt Mo! Look at Aunt Aera
Aunt Mo patted his back when her eyes fell onto Aera. She quickly rushed to her. Both of them in the tension didn't notice Jungkook's eyes which were fixated on Taehyung, him clenching his fists when Tae's body collided with someone else.

*slid his hand in Taehyung's* Don't worry hyungie.. Aunt Mo is here now.. Mom will be fine

*gripped his hand tighter* I-I hope so... God knows what would have happened if you had been with her.
Taehyung said as his body trembled a little, his eyes on the still body of Aera.
Jungkook's eyes lit up for a second not enough to make others notice. His hand holding his hyung- he felt complete
Aunt Mo took out her handkerchief and pressed on her bleeding forehead.
She picked up her arm, fixing it on her shoulder trying to pick her up. She placed Aera on the couch, dusting all the glass pieces that stuck to her skin
Aunt Mo
Young master. Could you call Dr. Cha? Her situation seems a bit serious but we can't take her to the hospital

*nods* Okay..
Jungkook made another call and the man on the other side said to wait for a while. He instructed them to wash her blood off, clean her and change her into loose clothes. The man quickly hung up the call and Jungkook told Aunt Mo whatever he had heard
After Dr.Cha left, Aunt Mo decided to see him off. In the meantime Taekook entered the room

The monster... How could he do that?! She is his wife!
Jungkook (13)
*pat his shoulder* And you are his blood son and yet... He didn't spare you. How could he spare that woman who gave herself to him willingly?

Taehyung looked at Jungkook with glossy eyes. He was pleading

They heard something and turned to the bed Aera was in. She had gained consciousness and moved a bit

The pain in her head struck. She looked around after calming down a bit. Her eyes fell on her son immediately and she called out to him

Jungkook's rage filled eyes sacred Aera a little. She was reminded of Kim Young Hwang!

Jungkook broke free from her hands and ran out of the room, dragging Taehyung away with him.
