Naura woke up from his bed, yawning softly as he stretched his tired body. After freshening up, he left his house and made his way to the king’s palace, where everyone worked tirelessly like slaves. Naura joined them in their daily labor. He had a small puppy named Nomi who often brightened his days.Once Naura finished his work, he began walking home. On the way, he felt as if someone was following him. When he turned around, nothing seemed out of place—until he suddenly heard approaching footsteps. Startled, Naura spun and tried to attack, but the person dodged his strike. It turned out to be his girlfriend, Nomaki.Naura sighed in relief. “Oh, it’s you. I thought it was someone else. How are you?”“I’m fine,” she replied with a smile. “How about you and little Nomi?”“We’re both good,” Naura said. “How’s your father doing?”“He’s fine,” she answered, “but… he doesn’t like you very much.”Naura frowned. “Why not?”“My father wants me to marry a brave man,” Nomaki explained, “someone fearless—who could even kill a king if needed.”Naura laughed lightly. “Is he serious?”“He’s not joking,” she said firmly. With a smirk, Naura replied, “Then tell him to come to the king’s palace tomorrow before lunch. He’ll find me holding the king’s son’s head.”“You’re serious?” she asked, shocked.“See for yourself tomorrow,” he said with a grin. When they reached Naura’s home, he invited her in. “Want to see Nomi?”As soon as they entered, Nomi jumped onto Nomaki excitedly. “Hey, Nomi! I missed you so much,” she said, petting him. “I’m so happy to see you again, but I have to go now. Bye, Naura. See you soon.”Naura smiled and waved as she left. Later, after washing up, he lay down but couldn’t sleep. Gazing out the window, he slowly drifted off.The next morning, he returned to the palace and resumed his work in the garden. Suddenly, he noticed Nomi had followed him there. “Hey, Nomi, what are you doing here? Stay close to me, okay?” he said. But in the middle of his chores, Naura lost sight of him.By the time he noticed, Nomi had already wandered into the palace hall. Naura ran after him, but it was too late—the king spotted the puppy.“A filthy dog in my palace? Disgusting!” the king roared, hurling his sword. The blade struck Nomi, killing him instantly. The prince laughed cruelly. “Good riddance to that disgusting creature.”Naura dropped to his knees beside Nomi’s lifeless body, tears streaming down his face. As the prince approached, sneering, “Such a pathetic dog—and owner,” Naura’s grief turned to rage. He pulled the sword from Nomi’s body and, in one swift motion, struck down the prince—his head falling to the ground.Just then, Nomaki arrived and froze in shock at the sight of Naura holding the prince’s severed head. With tearful eyes, Naura whispered, “Tell me, my dear king… how does it feel? This is how I felt once.”Nomaki began recording the scene on her device, as Naura looked up and snarled, “If you have the courage, face me alone.”
