Rain swept in across the streets during the night, driven by a cold wind while I was heading home, even the driver was complaining that he could not see the road properly and an accident was surely going to to happen if he continued the journey so I told him to head to the nearest hotel so that we could spend a night to avoid any accident dew to the rain. When we got to the hotel I was so exhausted I ordered for a room and went to bed immediately. By morning the wind had dropped and the weather was finally clear so took a bath, had breakfast and continued my journey home.

Things has happened the past few years both to me and my parents I had already mad up my mind to get a job and have a good reputation for my self after all am the daughter of the the second largest shareholder in the world so I think am going to work with my father so I can learn more about the work of companies even maybe one day I can be the owner of a company

While I was lost in thought my driver packed and asked me if I was hungry, I lied that I wasn’t because I wanted to get home as soon as possible so I could meet my parents, just when he was about to start the car to continue the journey my stomach growled loudly like a hungry monster ready to eat anything, when he heard it he was so shocked he told me to wait in the car that he was going to buy some food for me to eat so I waited.

While waiting I got a call from my mother and when I picked I almost went deaf because of the way she was shouting, I was so suprised because I never knew my mother could shout like that.

After calming her down she ask me why I haven’t gotten home and I told her what happened then she said she was going to prepare some delicious home food for me so I should hurry up and get home before it gets cold and she hanged up, not long after my driver came back and gave me a sandwich saying that my mother already called him that she was going to cook for me so he decided to just by something little for to eat for the time being. And we continued our journey it was still a little far so I took a nap and when I woke up we where already close to my home and I could see the gate from afar I was so happy.

After all the stress I have finally gotten home

6:00 in the evening I got home looking like a patient from the hospital. To be honest I was really hungry but I was hidding the fact because I was keeping space in my stomach for the food my mother was preparing at home for me. The only thing I could think about in the journey was how I was going to eat the food my mum had prepared at home for me since when she called.

Getting home I did not even carry my luggage’s I ran into the house and straight to the kitchen but when I got their It was clear and clean like no one as even used it today I started to panic because I was really hungry and I don’t know what I would have done if their was no food prepared for me at all. Then I thought of going to the dinning table, when I got their. Just as I expected their was a lot of food their and my motherhad slept off on one of the dinning chairs, but did not bother waking her up, I first ate to my satisfaction faction.

When I finished eaten I decided to wake my mother up, immediately I tapped her she jumped up and shouted welcome home my daughter have missed you so much, she was about to tell me to come and eat the food she had prepared for me but she was suprised when she looked down and saw all the plates that empty she was so furious, she called out all the maids in my presence.(I did not know what was going on so I was just looking) then the next thing she said was “ why is the plates on the dinning table empty, who emptied it”

immediately I heard this I told her that I was the one who ate the food that it had nothing to do with the maids. Then her face quickly changed and she told all the maid to get back to work and she told me to sit down and started asking me how my college was if I really enjoyed it and she was also telling me how much she had missed me. She talked to for an hour then I got up and said I was tired so she said I could go to bed.

When I entered my room i was suprised to see that they have even changed anything their. It looked the same as the day I left. I was so happy I thought they would have used my room for something else but instead they cleaned it every day till I came back, I looked out the window an thought to my self that it’s been four and nothing here as still changed here. I was so surprised when I felt so relaxed I don’t know maybe it was because I have not been at home in a long time, so I decided to go and sleep. When I was about to sleep off I heard a knock on the door so I went to check who it was, when I opened the door I saw my dad I was so excited but yet still tired so was not able to jumb on him but he told me to go and sleep that he was no going to work the next day so I went to bed and slept off.

So early in the morning, I could already hear footsteps, their where so many that I thought we where being robbed, in fear I jumped out of my bed about to go and hide then a maid walked and told me that my father wanted to see me so I should take a bath and go to him. I don’t know why I was so scared maybe it’s because I am no longer used to this lifestyle and had spent to much time in the college. But i still believe am going to get used to this lifestyle sooner or later.

In a hurry, I took my bath. I was so excited because I haven’t seen my dad for a long time and I don’t want to keep him waiting. When I finish dresssing up, I could ear someone shouting and even though I recognized the voice I decided to turn a blind eye because I wanted to go see my father as soon as possible and it had nothing to do with me. When I got to my fathers room he was not there so I decided to ask a maid where he went. The maid told me that my father had already gone outside so I went outside. When I got outside I saw my father shouting at someone and I really wanted to see who he was talking to, so I just ran to him and gave him a hug, when I turned to see who he was shouting at. I couldn’t believe it was the driver that brought me home.

I tried to ask my father why he was shouting at the man, and I tried to explain to him that it was not the drivers fault. The reason we came home a day after is because of the heavy rain that fell and I told him that the driver even took good care of me and always asked if I was hungry so he could go and buy some food for me to eat. My father said 'ok' and still said to the driver that he was not done and will still get back to him. He took me back into the house and told me that in the future I don’t have to be soft minded that if any of my workers did not do their job properly, I should talk to them in a strict manner so that they won’t make such mistakes again and will work harder next time. Then he said that I should forget about what just happened because it was not the reason he sent for me. To be honest I still don’t know why he wouldn’t let the driver of the hook because I had already explained it to him that it was not the drivers fault.

Not long after that my mother came out of her room, I could tell through the way she was dressed that we where going somewhere. But when I asked her all she said was that we just wanted to go to a simple restaurant to eat as a family, but I could tell that she was lieing so I decided to play along.

When we got their I was so surprised and happy I didn’t even expect them to take me to the place I have always wanted to go since my childhood.
