Hey everyone! There are few things I’d like to clear up before we go any further.
1. About Siddharth’s character:
I know Siddharth might feel too much at times — obsessive, unpredictable, maybe even psychotic. But that’s exactly who he is. I mentioned it before, and I’ll say it again — he’s a bit psychotic for her. His love isn’t meant to feel comfortable or balanced. It's just a way to show a part of his character.
2. About Minnie’s age:
I completely understand if some of you feel uneasy about Minnie’s age. When I first started writing this story, I wasn’t as mature or aware, and I thought it was fine.
Now, I understand the issue better. The only reason I wrote her as 18 was for the storyline — if she were 21, Siddharth wouldn’t have had to wait for her, and the entire “forbidden, in-between” tension would lose its purpose. But yes, I still find it off now.
When I officially publish this novel, Minnie will be 18, and the legal age in the story will be 21. It’s fiction, and I’ll make sure it stays ethically sound.
3. About her nickname:
I know “Little rat” might sound odd or even negative to some. I initially chose it without much thought because I wanted something weaker and more fragile than the usual “kitten” — something unique. But since it carries negative meanings, I’m considering changing it to kitten or little mouse. They still fit her softness and innocence. I’d love to hear what you all think.
One thing for sure is that~ No more that nickname.
4. About expectations:
Lastly — I want to make one thing clear. This story isn’t just about non-con or smut. It’s a dark romance novel, not an erotica. It has a plot, character development, emotions, and depth.
If you’re here only for the explicit parts, I’m sorry, but you’ll have to wait — or better, read an erotica instead.
And now, the story of a typical reader I’ve seen here:
They read silently — no votes, no comments. Then, after several chapters, they realize there wasn’t any “intimate” scene yet. Suddenly, they appear in the comment section saying things like, “This story has nothing like the YouTube teaser, I feel scammed.”
When I politely reply and explain that this is a novel, not an erotica, they have no real argument. So what do they do next? They go to other readers’ comments — people who genuinely love the story — and drop disgusting replies there just to spoil the mood.
And honestly, that kind of behavior just shows insecurity and helplessness. If you can’t handle a logical reply, don’t try to act superior by being rude. It’s childish. Grow up, get a life, and most importantly — get a brain.
Other than that:
Thank you to all of you who support the story, who understand its pacing, and who connect with it beyond the surface. Your love and patience mean the world to me💌
