MOLLY’S POV

“Hey catch her!” A man shouted from right behind me, I ran through a dark ally in the middle of the night, why couldn’t they stop chasing me, Why are they not giving up, money matters this much?

I ran through a door on my right and entered what seemed like a club, I walked into the club trying my best to blend it when I heard a bang even with the loud music about 10 meters away, the 5 men who were chasing me came through the door, I ran towards the washroom opening the duffle bag which I had with me along the run.

I changed into a black jeans and a crop top. I finally went to the sink with two dyes in my hand My long hair was previously black, was now light brown.

After washing my hair I took out my hair dryer and a towel, “I had camr prepared for exactly this situation” I smiled to myself about 6 mins later after drying my hair my long Light brown hair was finally not all of that wet. I tied it up in a messy bun

Until I heard footsteps coming from outside the door “damn! They’ve reached already.

I took out a case with contact lens which covers my Light blue eyes, it felt really weird. I blinked awkwardly and hurried to apply a peach lipstick onto my lip

“I don’t think they’ll recognize me. The money which I had withdrew before hand was put into my red backpack. It was about 2 million in cash, while I had 4 million in a new credit car I had with another name.

Nice I looked down at my feet noticing I still had on my pink sneakers, “right I don’t have much time let’s make this snappy.” I mumbled and hurried to put on the pair of grey sneakers. I stuffed the empty duffle bag at the side of the toilet seat and walked out of the washroom where before me stood one of the men looking for me.

“Excuse me.” I asked for a way to part, acting clueless. The man looked at me observing my appearance and finally let me through when they realized it was the wrong person.

“What’s their problem?” I ask myself loud enough for them to here, it was what any clueless person would do even if they were not being chased.

Finally exiting through the back door I smiled at myself “all those acting class wasn’t for nothing.” I smiled. Freedom was finally with me, a huge weight has been let off of me.

“Now I have to go somewhere” i say to myself, i took a taxi and it dropped me off at a hotel, I walked into the hotel and went to the front desk. “Hi there do you have a reservation?” She asked me,

“Yes I do, under the name Riley Moon.” I say.

“Okay she says and after checking in she hand me my keycard. “Thank you.” I say and took the elevator which stoped at the 10th floor. I entered a huge living room I walked to the kite Chen to find that it is also big. “Isn’t this a bit too much?” I ask myself “how low key of me” I snickers Sara sarcastically.

The next day

The next day

I opened my eyes as the sunlight shined upon me, I got up off my bed and walked to the washroom to wash my face, I looked at my face in the mirror, “should I have peirced my ear?” I ask myself laughingly.

About an hour later after getting ready I looked at the clock it was 7:30am. I was going to make myself breakfast but I dibt have any groceries, I had a lot to do this weekend before Monday which is 2 days away.

After checking out of the hotel I went to a café then to the mall, I entered many stores and bought a lot of clothes, I had to buy my daily necessities and a phone.

I sat down on a nearby bench taking a 2 minute break. “This sure is a lot of work.” After buying clothes I bought my necessary school utensils and a covering for my bed for when I move into my dorm.

Half a day later

I went back to my hotel and went to my room and took a shower, I’ve had a long day, so I might as well rest tomorrow. before coming back to the hotel I bought groceries to last for tonight and tomorrow.

I sat on the sofa after taking a long shower and switched the tv on watching a movie while falling to sleep.

The next day I woke up from the knock on my room door, I opened the door and looked at the young girl “may I help you?” I ask her,

She smiled and said “hi I was sent here to deliver your package.

I collected the passage and thanked the girl, then closed the door after she left. I observed the package trying to remember if i ordered something. There was no senders address but the receivers address alone.

I opened the package and found wrapped inside a watch which was set for 12:00pm with a note. Saying:

You’re new here right? Welcome to country A ask me for anything I’ll help you.

My hands started shaking, “how....how did he know? Is he-a-alive?!!” I was sure I saw him die in my hands from drowning “I slumped onto the floor.

“Ethan do you think the water is deep, anyone who fall into the water can drown?” A little girl stooped down throwing bricks into the water alongside a little boy about a year older. “Maybe.” He says also throwing the bricks into the water.

“Oh...” “I’ll go ask mommy” the little girl added. She ran up the hill and ran into the house, she walked to an room with art hanged around on the wall, as her mother focused on her painting, she swept her hair back looking like an angel.

Her mother looked up at her “molly you’re back?” She says smiling opening her arms for molly to run into them. Mommy you look like an angel when painting.” Molly says smiling squeezing her mother even tighter “I love your smell.” She added, “alright, alright, where is Ethan?” Molly’s mother asks.

“Oh he’s at the river bank throwing pebbles into the river.” Molly mentiones.

“What?! He’s there by himself?” She asks in usion. She left what she was doing and ran outside to check on Ethan.

When she reached out she saw no one there, “Molly where is Ethan?!” She ask panicking again.

“This is where I left him, I swear!” Molly continued saying, “I’m right here.” A voice of a young boy sounded out from behind,

“Ethan! Where were you?” She asks him. “I went to the garden to pick some flowers for Molly.” He said,

“Next tome you two must always stay together, don’t go outside without me,” her mother say

“But why mommy?” Both Etan and Molly Asks again, their mother knelt down and rubbed their heads, “because there is some scary monsters that is looking for us.” She replies

“Monsters.” They asks again, “don’t worry much, with mommy and daddy here I will protect you.” She says reassuring them.
