I nudged him lightly, hiding my smile.
Luke's gaze briefly met Alex—not cold, not distant, but proud.
Irine's smile followed, warm enough to ease the tension in the room.
In moments like this, he realize…
One day, he will learn to carry it the way they do.
irine reached them first. She wrapped her arms around my brother, then pulled me into the embrace as well. For a brief second, the grand hall, the crown, the expectations—everything faded.
luke followed, placing a firm hand on my shoulder before pulling both of us closer. It wasn’t something he often did, at least not in public. But in that quiet moment, it felt real.

They all took our seats as the servants began to serve dinner. The candles flickered softly, casting warm light across the table.
After finishing the eating, the plates slowly cleared away as the laughter faded into a comfortable silence.
