Touching Reunion
Mauve slowly trotted off the train and scanned the area around her for any familiar faces. She then turned her gaze towards a nearby clock.
Mauve
Well, that explains why they are not here as yet.
Mauve slowly lowered her head and took a seat on a nearby bench, hoping that the pony she was looking for did not forget about her.

What are you doing here?
Mauve
I just need to spend some time away from my family for a bit... to clear my head.
Night let out a sigh when she heard this and took a seat on the bench right next to her.
Night slowly made her way closer to Mauve and gave her a warm hug. An act that her family was not familiar with.
Mauve
I'm really glad I ran into you, Night. It has been a while since we have spoken to each other, and I know you have a lot of questions on your mind.

A lot of questions. Like, how did you get a train ticket, to come all the way out here?
Night Sky
They are not exactly cheep.
Mrs. Stone
I paid for the Mauve's ticket.
Night slowly turned her gaze towards Mrs. Stone and her eyes widened in shook.

Mrs. Stone?! I was not expecting both of you to know each other. How did you guys meet each other?
Mrs. Stone
When I was finished signing all my best-selling books in Cloppity Falls, I ran into her.
Night slowly sat forward and Mauve seeing this rolled her eyes in response. She knew that Night loves a good story. An aspect of her personality that managed to stick with her, even though years have passed.

What was she doing there?
Mrs. Stone
At the time... I had no idea. But after talking to her for a while, I was able to get a grasp of the situation she was in and gave her the opportunity to come and work with me.
Night's mouth fell to the floor when she heard this.

Mauve

Night ran up to Mauve's side when she heard those words and pulled out a storybook from her saddlebag.

Mauve
Calm yourself down, Night. You are being a bit too loud.
Night looked around and realized that every pony that was in the train station was staring at them in silence.
Night Sky
I am really sorry about that.
Mauve
What were you doing here in the first place, Night?
Night Sky
I heard there was a book sale today. So I decided to stop by and check out the book that they were selling, before the store closes.
Night slowly turned her head towards the nearby clock and realized that the store with the sale, would be closing in the next twenty minutes.
Night Sky
It was nice talking to you again, but really have to go.
Mauve
I'll tell you everything when we meet again, okay Night?
Night Sky
I'm looking forward to it.
Night quickly put her favorite storybook back into her bag with her magic and trotted off in the opposite direction.
