Chapter 1

Haaaa it so annoying waking up knowing school is resuming, mostly when you are resuming as a senior student, and it's a boring school, normally it would have been ok, but as a senior student you don't get holidays, that's why you here of seniors faking sickness to go home, and some of them never return. We'll that's not my problem at all, I'm already in the bus, there's no turning back now, my problem is how to adapt, but not really as I am just like green snakes in green grass no stress.

The bus pulled over right in front of the school, so this is it till next 3 years l thought to myself how pathetic, but the good part was we were allowed to bring our phones, at least for those that have, as I was about to step in I heard someone call out to me "hey you" i turned back and saw a girl, with a familiar face "hello" I said "can I help you"

"No just want to ask you a brief question" she said then had a pause before continuing " first do you know who i am" she asked me

"No" I replied keeping it short

"Well I'm the sister to senior John mc, I am Johan mc"

'O wow you are the sister to someoneibdont know ' I said in myself, but really felt like saying it out

"Ooo I saw the resemblance, what do you need with me " I asked

" I want you to be following me to all competitions the school is going for, I'm forming a group " she said

" but..."

"It's ok if you aren't in my group I'm looking for smart people actually, it's the teacher job to group us " she said and walked out on me

Wow she called me dumb, I can't believe it, am already making enemies before I stepped into school I thought looking at the short distance between me and the gate.

I went to the hostel to see my roommates and it was just two per room, how nice, I said to myself as I laid on my bed waiting for my roommate to arrive. Unfortunately I slept off.

" hello are you dead" I heard a voice ask

I slowly stood up and looked at him, he was already with a bucket of water to pour on me "No" I replied

"Ooo good bro, my name is Mark what is yours" he asked

"Jota" I said shaking his outstretched hand

"Aren't you glad to be in senior school " he said jumping on my bed

"Well I guess"

"You will love the competition "he said, and with that the day ran fast and before I knew it the sun rose to start a fresh Monday morning, always my worst days

"Wake up wake up" I felt taping on my legs, like a baby tapping his mother for milk

"What is it" I said as I turned over to check the time "It's just 7am" I added

" nope it's 7:40am and you have few minutes to make it to class" mark said

"Hmph" I took a deep breath and rushed over my activities and was ready for school by 8:20am

As we walked down the hallway mark dragged me around telling me to hurry up for class, and sluggishly followed him. I don't even know how he knew the way"how do you we are heading yo class"

"I don't, that's why I wanted to live early" he said

I stopped and looked at him, which kind of boy was he, after we walked for about an hour we finally got lost, and exhausted from all the walking, I couldn't aura farm anymore and sat on tye floor to catch my breath while mark looked like he just came out from the shower, looking as fresh as ever.

"Bro let's ask around" I said

"No it spoils aura, and aura...."

While he kept talking I walked out and asked a security guy for were to go and dragged him to class while he was still aura farming his so cool.

"Are you in this class"the teacher asked

"Yes, my friend here got me here we got lost" mark said as usual aura farming

"Take a sit you are just in the time for the grouping " she said

We took a sit and was told to pick random numbers.

" those that picked stand beside him "

And that was how the grouping was done I ended up in group 3 in Johans group as we both looked at ourselves we hatred

Chapter 2

Well it's a shock I ended up in the same team as Johan, but I was glad, mark was also on my team, at least someone to talk with, the class teacher took a test for each group, and as usual I was at average 60% mark was at 75% but Johan was at 99.9% well I expected tha from the student council president sister, but yet she didn't fail a single question, but got an half in a question, and she was crying, me and Mark was so shock as such stupid act.

"Why is she crying" mark asked me

"She didn't get 100%" I replied looking at my script

As I expected our aura farmer walked up to her and started talking jazz

"Hey no need to cry, pretty " he said patting her soldier

"Don't touch you low scorer, I bet you don't know what to means, that's why you are so stupid" Johan said slapping his hands off her soldier

As I looked at them in confusion almost laughing our loud but held it, mark walked over to me with the most broken expression on his face making it more funny, I just turned away and started laughing silently "and I wanted to warn you" I said while laughing

"Then why didn't you" he asked so broken

I just shoved my soldiers saying I don't know. Soon the teacher was back to our group to apoint a leader.

"For group 3 the leader is Mark so get your group prepared for any assignments I will be giving you " she said

As she walked away me and mark looked at ourselves in suprise before looking at Johan like robots, or as if we planned it. Johan stood up and chased after teacher giving complains that she was the highest, but the teacher didn't even answer her or turn to look at her, which I liked low-key.

As the teacher stood in front of the class I knew our first assignment was about to Come, so I picked a pen and prepared to start writing.

"Your first assignment is to the a research on dinosaur, and you come outside to present it group by group, without a book, so keep that in your head" she said and left leaving the rest to us

As the door closed behind her, a guy stood up to address his group "hello a group one members let's go somewhere else to discuss" he said so boldly, and his group members followed him like jazz. Looking at a group with a bold leader, you will already know they will be good I tought while we all looked at our group leader.

"What!" He said Looking at all of us

"Aren't you meant to direct us on what to do, and how to do it" Johan asked

" ooo so now you need directions on how to go your hostel" mark asked back

"You don't even have leadership sense "

"Well..." mark didn't know a counter for this so I helped him a little bit

"Well since you know, why don't you become his assistant to give him advise " I said Looking at mark

Immediately he jumped up and pointed his finger at her "yes you are my assistant, so now what are we doing"

"Mmm well... I don't wanna be the assistant first of all" Johan said with a change of voice

" ooo you wanna cry" mark asked teasing her but her face expression actually changed, and our of pity decided to help both of them out

"Why don't we sit arranged and check the main points to note on dinosaur first" I said Looking at both of them to get an approval which I eventually got from mark

" yeah good idea"

As we arranged our sits in a round circle, leaving mark and Johan inside the circle, I asked " so what do you guys have"

"Well as the group leader, I say we aren't doing anything today, go to your hostels and do your research on dinosaur " he said

Johan was still calm until mark was about to leave the circle " so you think you can just leave like that"

Mark looked at her and waved his right hand, as a sign to ignore her " why not" he asked

She stood up angry and charged at him " you can't give them a hint on what to research on"she asked

I was loving this and crossed my leg, while mark started laughing "are you deaf or stupid, or maybe both, the research is dinosaur, what don't you understand" he said

" class as the assistant, I will tell you things you could search for, like the body structure of a dinosaur, how they are believed to come into existence and extinction, thank you meeting dismissed" she said, but no one stood up as the atmosphere was boiling.

"Well done assistant, now you aren't that useless anymore" just mark said this Johan gave him a resounding slap, and as mark charged toward her a group of guys held him, then I came in, still looking for trouble

"This is how love birds play, leave him alone" Johan walked toward me, to give me a slap while I sat on my sit waiting, but some girls held her and took her away. As I watched everyone leave I went to my room with mark as we didn't find anything to talk about.
