The metal chair locks into place with a sharp click.
V exhales slowly, wrists bound by glowing cuffs. He lifts his head just as heavy footsteps stop in front of him.
JK stands there—tall, armored, unreadable.

Target secured. Restraints confirmed.
JK doesn’t look away from V.

You sabotaged the station.
V tilts his head, studying him like a puzzle.

You say that like you’re impressed.
JK steps closer. The lights above flicker.

You endangered thousands of lives.

And yet here we are.
Just the two of us.
A low alarm hums in the background.

You let yourself get caught.

I wanted to see the man they turned into a weapon.
The ship suddenly shudders. The floor vibrates beneath them.

JK turns sharply toward the control panel.
V leans back as far as the restraints allow, calm despite the chaos.

Relax.
I only nudges the engines of course.

Course deviation detected. Entering unknown sector.
JK's hand curl into a fist.
V’s gaze softens—just slightly.
V
We’re losing oxygen.
If I fix it alone, I die later.
If I don’t fix it… we die together.
Silence stretches between them.
System
Oxygen levels decreasing.
Time remaining: 3 hours.
JK steps closer again, stopping inches away.
JK
You are not in control here.
V meets his eyes without fear.
V
Then why did you hesitate?
The implant at the base of his neck pulses painfully.
System
Neural Spirk detected.
JK straightens, forcing his voice steady.
V’s smile fades into something more serious.
V
You did.
