Kylie's pov

Sammy I am so excited. I need to tell you this right now. I can't believe I'm pregnant with his child.

He'll be happy to know this. At least now he will love me. Maybe now he will believe in me, as I am gonna be the mother of his child; he will love me again. sammy I don't know what happened in the past that made you hate me like an enemy; maybe after hearing this good news you will like me again as in the past.

Okay, I will make his favorite dishes for dinner and wait for him.

Samuel's pov

(in club) Joe, my best friend and my most trusted man, is giving me an earful for not showing up at my 3rd marriage anniversary 3 days ago. I don't know why these people care too much about her. The cheater who cheated on me on our 1st anniversary with her best boyfriend. It's been 3 years of my tragic marriage; I never told about the day my wife cheated on me. I've waited for the chance. Ours is a love marriage; I fought with my own family to marry her, but I never thought she would cheat on me. What did I do to deserve such a woman? And just because of her, my parents pushed me away, but in a few days, I'm going to take over as the mafia king with the help of the biggest mafia family in the east. If it wasn't for them, I would've lost my position as a CEO in my company when my family tried to push me away because of her. But now this is my time; I will let her rot in hell after the divorce. I'm planning to divorce her before taking the throne as the mafia king. As I have the support of the biggest family in the east, all the other mafia families are also gonna be my allies. In a few days I'm gonna be the mafia king, and I will surely take revenge on the Vincent family, who is the actual reason for my mom's death. As I was in my deep thoughts, Kimberly came and sat on my lap, for which I felt disgusted. I shoved her away from my lap. I never loved any other woman other than Kylie, but her betrayal made me hate women more than anything. Kimberly started whining about why I would be so harsh with her, but with one glare from me, she shut herself down, and when I was about to leave, she held my hand tightly and asked why I was leaving so early. She asked if I was missing my wife too much. I could clearly see the disgust in my friend's eyes when kimberly held my hand I shrugged her hand away and yelled at her, "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!"

Then I took my car keys and went away.

Author's pov

Samuel arrived at his mansion. When he entered the mansion, Kylie came to receive him; as always, she took his coat and asked if he was hungry Sam said nothing but stared at her coldly. And he went towards the dining table; Kylie understood that he was going to have dinner. She served him happily, and just when he was about to take the first bite, Kylie announced that she was pregnant. That was enough to burst Sam just like a volcano. He suddenly threw his plate into the air. Kylie flinched at his sudden action. He then stood up and stormed out of the dining area to their shared bedroom. Kylie didn't get him at all, but she had enough of him; she finally wanted to stand up for herself. She followed him into their bedroom. She asked him, "Why would you do that? You always wanted a child, didn't you? Then what the hell is wrong with you? Can you please stop behaving like this? I can't take this anymore. I want my Sam back, my old Sam who used to love me I want the old Sam, not a cruel-hearted one. Sam yelled at her. ME TOO. I want that Kylie back who used to love me, ONLY ME! Even before she could react, Sam yelled again, "Whose child is this?" That broke her heart entirely. Why would he think that she cheated on him when all she did was love him?  She asked, "Are you even listening to yourself, Sam? Why would I lie?" "All you did was lie and sleep around behind my back." She never expected he would say such things about her. "I don't remember touching you in 2 years, so how could this child be mine?"

Author's POV:

Right before two months of their 3rd marriage anniversary, it was her birthday. And as usual, he wasn't present on that day either. He was with his friends, who are having a party literally for no reason; no one knows that it's her birthday, except him. But he was just enjoying the party even after knowing that she was waiting for him.

Kimberly knew he hated her, and as it was her birthday today, he wouldn't go until it was past 12 o'clock. Kylie called him several times, yet it was no use because he blocked her number several days ago. She knew he wouldn't come, but she was so desperate for his love that she waited all night. Kimberly saw the chance and spiked his drink and took him to a private room. He was so wasted his best friend saw that Kimberly took him to a private room. He knew she had her eyes on him; he immediately called Kylie and explained everything. Kylie came as soon as possible. Joe wanted to stall the time so that Kylie could take him away from Kimberly. As Kimberly was flirting with Sam, Joe called out Kimberly from outside the room, telling her that her ex was here to meet her. Hearing Joe's voice, Sam came to his senses and pushed her off of him. Kimberly stormed out of the room to yell at Joe, who diverted her in the meantime. Kylie reached there, and when she was about to take Sam out of the room, consumed by the drug, he pulled her into the room next to the previous one.  She knew he was not in his senses; she tried her best to wake him, but she couldn't resist him either, but instead of saying they spent the night together for her, it was him attacking her body. The next morning she was using the restroom; he was so ashamed that he spent a night with a stripper that he kept a note and left a huge amount on the table and left. When she came out, she saw the note and the money; she was so confused.

She doesn't know how to feel about this. If she should tell him or not.She reached home when she was standing at the entrance door. Ronan called her; she answered the phone call. She said she went out for a bit, and she just reached home. Ronan told her he was sorry for not wishing her a happy birthday and wished her belated wishes. Sam was sitting in the living room when he heard her saying, "I reached home, thank you."

With that single sentence he assumed that she was with him yesterday. She didn't even come to take him, even though his best friend called her. He never asked her to explain; she never got the chance to explain. When she entered the living room, he immediately stood up and said he was busy and had to go.

"That's it—not even a sorry, not even a question of where were you last night," she thought to herself. When he left the house, she sat on the floor, being a crying mess. thinking about "What did I do to deserve this?"

At present:

They had a huge argument, which eventually led them to do a DNA test to see if the baby is really his or not.

She then explained to him everything about what happened on her birthday; she even showed him his note, the visiting card, and the untouched cash. Instantly he regretted everything that day, so he questioned himself about everything that happened in the past; he started to investigate. Every confusion led to one person, "KIMBERLY." He was consumed by anger. On the other hand, Kylie was so weak that she fainted in their house; he admitted her to the hospital while he was at the hospital with Kylie. Jason, his assistant, called him, saying he had a lead on Kimberly. He left her, saying he would avenge her for all this suffering she had to face because of him. The moment he left, Kimberly's men came and took her to the rooftop of the hospital.

Kylie managed to call him; he picked it up in the very second, but all he could hear was Kimberly's mad laugh and Kylie's crying. He immediately arrived at the hospital. He checked the cameras and went straight to the rooftop; he was all alone as he allotted all his men to search for Kimberly. and some of his men were unconscious outside Kylie's room, drugged by Kimberly's men. There started a big war between him and Kimberly's men; he was injured but eventually settled every one of them down. He managed to go towards Kylie, who was already injured. He was so devastated to see the sight in front of him. His men arrived at the spot ready to take down Kimberly, but she snatched a gun from the floor and tried to shoot her; he came in between, and she shot again, which went right through Kylie's heart. He died the moment he saw her death.

He killed Kimberly and died with his love. Swore to protect her at least in the afterlife
