*quietly staring at the wall while lost in her thoughts*
Right now she was sitting in her cabin and thinking about her past. It's 11 PM. Her shift was already over at 9 PM but she was still there. Suddenly the door of her cabin open.

But Charlotte didn't notice her yet. Mia frowned and called her again.

In this crowd, He was sitting on the stool by the bar, sipping his drink. Luca, his right hand, was seated beside him,
They were having a chat about something when a familiar voice caught his attention.

But Aiden didn't even glance at him, let alone answering his question.

With that he picked up his glass and drink the remaining liquor.
After half an hour, Aiden head out from the hall, Luca was beside him. As he opened the door for Aiden, suddenly gunfire sounds were heard and multiple men of Aiden surrounded him.
Aiden's own gun was withdrawal and he was looking around when a bullet came from nowhere and hit the back of his head.

It happened so fast that no one knew who shoot or where that bullet came from.
Luca immediately made Aiden sit in the car and barked orders before taking him to the hospital nearby.

Sofia's phone started ringing on the side table of her bed. She frowned before turning on the lamp, looking at the caller's ID.
Her movements were slow and tired since she slept just a while ago. Her frown deepen as she saw that the call was coming from the hospital. She sat up slowly before picking up the call.

Hello?
"Doctor please come to the hospital. It's urgent."
The person on the other side of the call said. His voice was filled with panic.

Ok ok I'll be there in 10. Call Doctor Sophie too.
"Um.. Doctor Sophie is on vacation and.."
He trailed off and Charlotte sighed.

Ok I'm coming.
With that she hung up and get off the bed. She looked her reflection in the mirror and shook her head, immediately pulled on a decent t-shirt and jeans before leaving the apartment. Her Aunt was asleep in the next room.
In 10 minutes, she arrived at the hospital by her car but saw a chaos at the entrance. Multiple black cars were parked outside. She entered the hospital and saw a man threatening the receptionist with a gun.
The receptionist immediately ran to her and hide behind her like a kid. Charlotte look at that man who was almost a feet taller than her.

Charlotte looked at him from head to toe before speaking.

With that he looked away but Charlotte sighed to hold back her irritation.

Charlotte sighed again and look around to search for the patient and saw a man dressed in black, sitting on the bench. Multiple men were guarding him.

Luca warned but Charlotte didn't stop and approach the patient but his men get into her way.

She again said but felt Luca's hand wrapping around her wrist. Charlotte finally lost her patient and twist his arm, pinning it on his back.

She pushed him away but those other men attacked on her and she dealt with them too precisely before finally approach I the patient who was barely conscious.

*look up at her with blurred vision*
Charlotte checked his head and immediately ordered the nurse and junior doctors to prepare the operation room.
