Instead, I got a Boss System.
A mysterious system suddenly binds itself to an ordinary person with one ridiculous rule:
Everyone will recognize you as “Boss.”
The problem?
He is not a boss.
He don’t want to be one.
And the system absolutely refuses to listen.
From ruthless subordinates who bow at the wrong times, to villains who surrender before the fight even starts, to love interests who take the “Boss aura” way too seriously—every attempt to deny the title only triggers even worse misunderstandings.
The system keeps assigning insane missions: ✔ “Maintain Boss dignity (FAILED)”
✔ “Accidentally intimidate enemy (SUCCESS)”
✔ “Deny authority without collapsing reputation (IMPOSSIBLE)”
What follows is nonstop comedy, explosive chaos, accidental face-slapping, enemies turning loyal, and a romance that grows in the middle of madness.
This is a story where:
power is forced
respect is a curse
the system is a menace
and the protagonist’s daily goal is simple:
“STOP. CALLING. ME. BOSS.”

Arclight University was famous for three things:
1) Its beautiful campus
2) Its strict rules
3) The troublemakers who treated rules like jokes
Everyone warned new students:
“Stay away from Riot Blaze, Cipher Knox, and Vex Rowan.”
Because they were known as the biggest troublemakers in the entire university.
And they were also… kind of legendary.
Not because they were good.
Because they were loud, chaotic, and impossible to ignore.
I was a transfer student.
I came here hoping for peace.
But peace is apparently not allowed at Arclight.
I was walking toward the administration building when I saw a commotion.
A security guard was chasing someone.
Not a student.
A troublemaker.
And not just any troublemaker.
It was Riot Blaze.
He was running like a man who had stolen something important… which, at Arclight, he probably did.
Guard
The guard shouted:
“Stop! You’re expelled if you don’t stop!”

Riot laughed.
“Expelled? I’m already famous!”
The guard lunged.
Riot jumped.
And then…
He slipped.
He was about to fall face-first into a fountain.
I watched in horror.
I didn’t want to be involved.
But my body moved on its own.
I stepped forward and grabbed Riot’s arm.
Pulled him up.
Like a normal person would do.
Noel Verne (Mc).
I said, calmly:
“Careful. You might drown in your own arrogance.”
Riot froze.
He stared at me.
His eyes widened.

Riot slowly turned toward me.
And then he said:
“You… saved me.”
Noel Verne (Mc).
I shrugged.
“I didn’t want to see someone die today.”
Riot blinked.
Then he smiled.
Not a friendly smile.
A leader-like smile.
He nodded at me like I was his commander.
And the moment he did…
The system appeared in front of my eyes like a floating hologram.

I whispered again:
“No.”
Boss System.

*Said with sarcasm*
Great. Perfect.
Riot looked at me with admiration.
He said loudly:
Riot Blaze(Mc follower) (Troublemaker1)
“BOSS"
Noel Verne (Mc).
I blinked.
“What?”
Riot Blaze(Mc follower) (Troublemaker1)
Riot stepped closer and said:
“You saved me. That means you’re my boss now.”
Noel Verne (Mc).
I stared.
“I didn’t save you because I wanted to be a boss.”
Riot Blaze(Mc follower) (Troublemaker1)
Riot waved his hand dismissively.
“Whatever."
He stared at my student id and said :
"Boss Noel, we need to go.”
At that moment, two more troublemakers appeared.
They were Cipher Knox and Vex Rowan.
Cipher looked calm and serious, like he was analyzing the world through glasses.
Vex looked like he was about to cause a prank.

Cipher asked:
“Did he save you?”
Vex Rowan(Mc follower) (Troublemaker3)
Vex smiled.
“Then he’s the boss.”
I opened my mouth to deny it.
But Riot interrupted:
Riot Blaze(Mc follower) (Troublemaker1)
“Boss Noel, meet my friends.”
Cipher Knox(Mc follower) (Troublemaker2)
Cipher bowed slightly.
“Greetings, Boss.”
Vex Rowan(Mc follower) (Troublemaker3)
Vex laughed.
“Nice to meet you, Boss. I’m ready for chaos.”
I stood there, frozen.
Because now I was surrounded by the three biggest troublemakers in the university.
And they all believed I was their leader.
The system blinked again.
Boss System.

I whispered:
“Why them?”
The system didn’t answer.
The troublemakers started walking away like it was a normal day.
Riot Blaze(Mc follower) (Troublemaker1)
Riot shouted:
“Boss Noel, let’s go cause trouble!”
Cipher Knox(Mc follower) (Troublemaker2)
Cipher said calmly:
“Boss, we should plan.”
Vex Rowan(Mc follower) (Troublemaker3)
Vex added:
“Boss, we should prank the cafeteria.”
Noel Verne (Mc).
I panicked.
“No. No. No. I’m not doing any of that.”
Riot Blaze(Mc follower) (Troublemaker1)
Riot turned around and grinned:
“Too late. You already saved me. You’re our boss.”
I felt my peaceful life slipping away.
Noel Verne (Mc).
I whispered:
“This is a mistake.”
Vex Rowan(Mc follower) (Troublemaker3)
Vex laughed:
“Bosses don’t make mistakes. They make chaos.”
And just like that, my quiet transfer day ended.
Because I accidentally saved the worst troublemaker in Arclight University…
And now he thinks I’m his boss.

So Guys, this is how the story begins,
noel who wanted a quiet college life but the fate played a joke on him giving him a boss system and three troublemakers followers.
Let's stay tuned and see if noel will ever get his peace, will he ever be able to change the system and keep his dream or will the system successfully change him into a boss.
But one thing is assured, it will be comedy and chaos either way.
