RING!! I got up and proceeded to the front door of my class. As I peeked my head out the door I spotted something unusual down the hall. There was a huge crowd screaming what sounded to be "FREEDOM!!!". Just another riot about letting the students outside school grounds. Incase you havent noticed I go to a sleep away school 36 miles away from the closest town pineville. Everyone thinks the principal doesn't care about what  the students think  but he is just always busy with other things. I know because I'm related to the principals daughter. We aren't siblings, just cousins. But some other classmates I have think me and her get special treatment. Actually, we don't.

Anyway. I walked past the huge amount of people and rent to my dorm room. Everyone had a dorm buddy. Mine was a really old friend from before we came to this school. His name is Simon. We knew each other since birth so even though we were different genders principal Remin let us share the dorm. It was fun to have a best friend as a roommate. I opened the door to room 317 and walked in. Simon wasn't there. It was the end of all periods and Simon normally got here before me but I guess he is late.

I threw my backpack on my bed and sat beside it. Everyday I do this to remind me I have things to do from earlier. After I recalled all of my information from the morning I sat down at my desk and started on a project for art class. A few minutes later Simon walks in. "Hey". I glance at him and say " Where have you been.?". I looked back at my work and waited for a response. " I had some homework to do so I decided to do it in class and not have to do it now.". "That's not how homework works you know". He laid on his bed to relax. I continued to work. " You know you have all night and tomorrow to do that project. And the week after that. Why are you doing this now?". "I don't want to have any assignments to worry about and stressing over later. That's just how I work."

"Well, have fun with that. I'm going to bed. Goodnight". "Goodnight". I replied. I did not know why he said such stupid things but I didn't mind to much. It took me hours but i managed to finish the project. I like to keep top in all my subjects. Then maybe my family will take me back home. They put me in this school about 3 years ago. That was when I was in 8th grade. I don't know why but I guess it was because I was a bad kid they sent me here. But I miss my little brother. I wanna go home to see him, so if I can get there attention with great grades, perfect test scores and behavior I think they will take me back. Simon doesn't know of course. I would never feel comfortable telling him that. But it won't be long before I get my grade's sheet. Everytime I get mine I mail it to my parents. So that they can see what I do, I hope this is the time they pay more attention.
