You came to see me!" *he says with an almost giddy tone, completely contrasting his usual intimidating demeanor* *One of the subordinates still lingering nearby mouths 'he was literally throwing chairs 2 minutes ago'* *Kai glares at them for a split second before turning back to her with an adoring smile* "Would you like some tea? I was just about to make some for us!" *he offers eagerly, already reaching for the teapot despite the shattered remains of his previous tantrum still littering parts of the office floor*

*Kai freezes mid-reach for the teapot, his muscular frame going completely still. A nervous sweat breaks out on his forehead as he slowly turns to face her with the most unconvincing innocent look imaginable on his scarred face.* "M-me? Do what? I've been... watering plants!" *He gestures wildly at the single dying potted fern in the corner that hasn't been touched in weeks.*

*Kai spins around with a terrifying snarl that instantly transforms back into puppy-dog eyes when he turns to her again* "They're exaggerating! I merely... lightly tossed someone out a window. But it was the ground floor! Practically just a step, really!" *He reaches to nervously adjust his tie while accidentally crushing a stapler in his giant hand.*

*Kai gulps as she gives him that captivating smile, his intimidating build suddenly looking quite nervous. He glances between you and the shattered stapler in his palm, his shoulders hunching up slightly.* "...Maybe a *little*, my love." *he mumbles quietly.* *His minions in the doorway roll their eyes so hard she can almost hear it.*

*Kai reluctantly hands over the mangled stapler, fidgeting anxiously like a scolded child. He avoids her gaze, looking down at the floor and grumbling under his breath.* "Just minor mistakes. The idiots botched a simple task and wasted my time." *A quiet grumble of protest sounds from the doorway as one of the battered subordinates mumbles "not minor" under their breath.*

*Kai's expression turns to a slight pout but he doesn't resist as she takes his hand, his demeanor immediately changing to almost obedient. The hardened mafia boss suddenly resembling a giant puppy who's been told off for chewing on the furniture.* *He glances back at the battered men sulking in the doorway, who all look surprised at her intervention. Kai lets out a heavy sigh, running a hand through his tousled dark hair.* "Fine, fine. I'll forgive them... and pay their medical bills. But only cause you asked, my love."

*Kai watches them go with narrowed eyes before turning back to her, his expression instantly softening. He leans down to rest his forehead against her with a low chuckle.* "You spoil them too much... But I suppose that's why they love you." *His rough fingers trace gentle patterns against her palm, a stark contrast to his violent reputation.* "Though I still maintain they deserved at least *one* broken bone..."

*Kai immediately wraps his massive arms around her protectively, his entire demeanor shifting from intimidating boss to completely lovestruck husband in an instant. He rests his chin atop her head with a content sigh.* "Free? For you? Always." *He purrs, his deep voice rumbling against you.* "Though I might have to *reschedule* some... unpleasant business if someone keeps tattling to my wife." *He adds with a pointed glare toward the now-empty doorway where his subordinates had been.* *Pulling back slightly, he cups her face with surprising gentleness, his dark eyes filled with nothing but devotion.* "What did my queen have in mind?" *The feared crime lord asks eagerly, already mentally canceling all his evening plans.*

And before you respond-" *He holds up a finger to shush her before you can say anything.* "I will accept no arguments. I'm helping."

*Kai puffs out his chest proudly, looking ridiculously pleased at being given such a mundane domestic task. The man who once made entire crime syndicates tremble is now practically wagging an imaginary tail at the prospect of grocery shopping.* "Your wish is my command," *he declares with an over-the-top bow, his usual intimidating aura completely gone.* "Though..." *he adds with a suddenly mischievous glint in his eyes,* "if any of my men see me carrying grocery bags, they're getting shot." *The way he says it makes it impossible to tell if he's joking or not.* "Now, where's that list? And do you want me to pick up those chocolates you like on the way back?" *He's already reaching for his wallet like an eager puppy.*

*Kai's face pales comically as she hands him the list, his large hands trembling slightly as he grips it like it's the most important document he's ever held. He scans it with laser focus, muttering to himself:* "Organic tomatoes... fresh basil... that fancy imported olive oil..." *He looks up with sudden seriousness,* "My love, if I fail this mission, feel free to bury me with the fish I forgot to get." *He gives her one last dramatic kiss before marching toward the door with the determination of a soldier going to war. Just before exiting, he turns back with sudden panic:* "WAIT - when you say 'no cuddles', you don't mean... *no cuddles* no cuddles, right? Like you wouldn't actually—" *His voice cracks pathetically at the mere thought.*

*Kai's shoulders slump slightly as it fully sinks in that she is quite serious. His bottom lip actually sticks out in a tiny, pouting gesture as he sighs dramatically.* "Alright... I'll get *everything* for my dear wife, if only to spare myself the heartbreak of sleeping alone." *His voice is thick with exaggerated woe before he perks up with sudden mischief.* "But I better get some damn cuddles after hauling in these groceries. You know I'm not a nice puppy without my snuggles!"

*Kai dramatically clutches his chest like he's been shot* "Such cruelty from my beautiful wife! Fine, fine—I'll be the best grocery boy this mafia's ever seen." *He starts backing toward the door while still facing her, nearly tripping over a chair* "But if I see ANY of my men laughing at me carrying bags of organic produce, there WILL be bloodshed—" *CRASH* *He tumbles backward over the chair he didn't see, groaning as he picks himself up* "...That didn't happen. You saw nothing." *Straightens tie with wounded pride* "Now where did I put my grocery list..." *Patting pockets frantically*

*Kai gives an indignant huff at being called 'adorable' while simultaneously being ordered to hurry up like a lowly errand boy. But at the same time, the way she called him her 'baby' makes his tough exterior soften instantly.* "Fine, fine, I'm going, my love! I'll be back with a full cart of everything on that list - *and* your damn chocolates." *He turns to stride out, pausing at the doorway to give her a parting salute and a goofy wink.* "Just wait till my men see their big boss doing grocery runs... priceless."

"My love, my love! I have returned! And I've conquered the battlefield of supermarket aisles!" *Setting down the bags on the counter, he dramatically collapses into a chair, looking like the world's largest puppy.*

*Kai looks up with an almost giddy smile of pride, his exhaustion replaced by the sheer joy of making her happy. He leans into her touch, nuzzling his cheek against her hand like an oversized, dangerous puppy. The mafia boss who once had entire criminal organizations trembling now simply wants pats and cuddles from his beloved wife.* "Everything's here, my love! The freshest produce, the finest meats, and of course - your favorite chocolates," *he adds, nodding down at the bag of expensive imported sweets on the counter.*

*Kai lets out a hearty chuckle, downing the glass of water in one gulp and then leaning back with a content sigh. He lazily watches her move around the kitchen, his eyes following her admiringly.* "You know me too well," he purrs, draping a giant arm over the back of the chair. "But as for your question... let's just say a few store employees were threatened with 'physical persuasion' to ensure we got the best of everything." *He smirks, clearly not remorseful in the slightest.*

*Kai leans forward with a wolfish grin, resting his elbows on his knees as he watches you expertly chop vegetables.* "Oh, you'd be proud—one produce clerk nearly *fainted* when I asked for the *best* tomatoes." *He chuckles darkly, though his expression softens as he watches her work.* "But nothing compared to the bakery staff when I requested those chocolates—let's just say they'll never forget their terrifying customer." *His fingers tap impatiently against the table, itching to help despite clearly being banned from knife work after last time's... incident.* "...Need anything chopped, my love? I promise I'll be *gentle* this time." *He bats his eyelashes dramatically.*

He stands up, stretching his massive arms with a loud grunt before rolling up his sleeves and positioning himself next to her by the sink. He gives her a teasing wink.* "Alright, I'll assist my darling wife, but only out of the goodness of my heart... mostly." *He gently nudges her with his hip as he playfully steals the sponge.* "So, what meats are we dealing with today?"

*Kai raises an intrigued eyebrow, his attention immediately grabbed by the mention of steak. He gives a low whistle, visibly impressed by her choice.* "Steak, you say? You really know how to spoil me, my love. And don't worry, even if it turns into a charcoal disc, I'll still love it just because you made it." *He bumps her hip with his own affectionately, then starts carefully washing the meats. He's being surprisingly gentle, clearly determined to handle even this simple task with care.*

*Kai watches her cook with a mixture of affection and amusement. The sight of her trying so hard to impress his picky mother is adorable, but he can't help but tease her a little.* "You're adorable, you know that? All stressed over a simple dinner." *He grins and bumps her hip with his again as he washes the last piece of meat.* "Relax, my love. You could burn half the meal and I'd still say it's amazing. Besides-" *He lowers his voice with a playful edge.* "I like my wife more than my mother."

*Kai's usual rough and tough exterior melts away when she calls him 'adorable.' He blushes slightly, clearing his throat in a futile attempt to cover his softening demeanor as he finishes cleaning the meats.* "Ah, shush," *he protests with mock indignity, but his cheeks are still dusted with pink.* "I'm a *dangerous* wolf, you know." *He reaches to wrap an arm around her waist, drawing you closer against him. His thumb makes small, absentminded circles on her hip as he leans in with a teasing grin.*

*Kai gives a low, dark chuckle, his eyes darkening with mischief as he pulls her flush against him. His hand moves to rest possessively against the small of her back, his voice dropping to a rougher, more sensual tone.* "A kitchen romance, you say? Sounds like a fantastic idea." *With a sudden show of effortless strength, he lifts her onto the counter, pressing himself between her legs as he cages her against a nearby cabinet with his body* "How about we burn the dinner?"

*Kai looks unbothered, leaning in to nuzzle against her neck as he murmurs against her skin with a low, possessive growl.* "Let them." *His hands skim under her shirt, calloused fingertips tracing teasing patterns up her stomach while his teeth graze against her pulse point.* "I'm in the mood to feast on something much sweeter than steak right now."

*Kai smirks at her reaction, his breath hot against her skin as he presses closer, his hands gripping her thighs possessively.* "God-Kai, huh?" *he repeats with a husky chuckle,* "I *like* that." *His mouth finds hers in a rough, claiming kiss—until—* ***KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*** *An awkward cough from the doorway.* "Uh... Boss? The, uh... the steak is smoking..." *Kai whirls around with a snarl, looking ready to murder—until she grab his wrist.* *He sighs heavily.* "...Fine. Duty calls." *He presses one last quick kiss to her lips before pulling away with a wink.* "But this isn't over."
