(thinking) Another semester.... I wonder if anything will be different this year.→_→
She walks past the fountain and notices a boy sitting alone on the edge, hoodie over his head, sketchbook closed in his lap...

(thinking)Who… is that? He looks… calm.💗

(Lila hesitates, then steps a little closer.)

(Arin just nods, glancing back at the fountain.)

Silence. Birds land on the fountain edge, sunlight glints off the water, leaves rustle.

(thinking): He doesn’t seem like anyone else…

Sometimes, beginnings aren’t loud. Sometimes, they’re just noticing each other… quietly....

The same morning...
Early morning again. The courtyard looks almost the same. Light mist. Soft sunlight touching the fountain.

(thinking)I didn’t plan to come early again…. ..so why am I here?

(She approaches the fountain slowly.)
Arin is already there, sitting in the same place as yesterday. This time, his sketchbook rests beside him, still closed.
