“ stay with me for a week yeol” Baekhyun says looking directly at his husband.

“ Baek you know it’s not gonna work anymore.” Chanyeol said.

“ I’m not asking you to love me idiot. I know your love is for someone else already..”

Baekhyun word just shoot him like a bullet.

“ so can you stay? It’s the only condition I want before I sign these papers” Baekhyun says. He know he look pitiful but this is the only way to make the taller stay. He miss his husband so much.

(1 week before)

Baekhyun who’s busy writing his novel suddenly got a surprise visitor which he doesn’t even know. The man wear suit and he bring a suitcase in his hand. His maid, Nameun told him that it’s a lawyer and he come to see Baekhyun. Baekhyun was quite surprised to see a lawyer coming all the way here at last, he know what’s the lawyer is up to . He went downstairs and greet the lawyer himself.

“ Mr Park I’m—”

“ no need to introduce yourself Mr. Kim I know you already. You’re Chanyeol lawyer. ” Baekhyun say with a smile on his face but his heart is aching.

“ sorry for that. I came here as Mr Park representative about the divorce paper settlement . He send me here to tell you all the assets in this house and 50% of his share in the company will be yours after the divorce and—” the lawyer stop talking when Baekhyun raise his hand.

“ I’m sorry to interrupt you Mr Kim. But can you tell this to Chanyeol?” And the lawyer nodded slowly. He somehow can feel Baekhyun sadness but the smaller keep smiling like it was okay. After chatting and eating some of Baekhyun homemade biscuits , the lawyer finally excuse himself.

“ thank you for the delicious biscuits Mr Park. It’s been so long since I last taste such delicious biscuits” Mr Kim said.

“ you praise me too much Mr Kim. You can come again if you want to eat the biscuits. I’ll definitely make it for you” Baekhyun smiled.

“ I’ll definitely will Mr Park. If I have the time” Mr Kim said.

“ you’re really a great person Baekhyun. I don’t know why Chanyeol want to divorce you but I hope you find your own happiness in the future. I’m saying this as a friend not a lawyer.” Mr Kim said.

“ love can change someone. We didn’t know anything, it’s all god work Mr Kim. Thank you for the sweet advice. I wish you all the best too Mr Kim.” Baekhyun said. The lawyer was about to leave when Baekhyun stop him and gave him some biscuits for him to bring back to Seoul. The lawyer thanked Baekhyun again and leave the house with heavy heart.

Mr Kim keep driving until he reach his client building and went to meet the taller.

“ ah Mr Kim. I’ve been waiting for you. How’d it go?” Si Ah, the ceo secretary a.k.a Chanyeol lover approach him.

“ is Mr Park inside?” Mr Kim asks.

“ what’s the matter? He didn’t want to divorce Chanyeol? Why the hell is he so stubborn?!” Si Ah said making the lawyer annoyed with her immature attitude.

“ I have to tell him something” the guy said.

“ what is it? You can just tell me about it. I’ll tell Chanyeol later” Si Ah said. Looking annoyed and mad at the same time.

“ this is Mr Park wishes. I have to respect his wishes plus he want me to tell this to Mr Park personally. No outsiders ” Mr Kim said. Si Ah look really mad this time.

“ who do you think you are?! You’re just a mere lawyer and I’m your boss wife!” Si Ah said with high pitched tone. Mr Kim look at Si Ah with irritated face. He was about to say something when Chanyeol suddenly come out from his office with tired face.

“ what’s with the loud noise Si Ah ssi?” Chanyeol asks then he notice the familiar figure.

“ oh, Mr Kim. You’re back” Chanyeol look at his watch on his wrist.

“ but that’s is quite late ” Chanyeol said.

“ the discussion get longer than I expected Mr Park” Mr Kim said.

“ really? So do you have something to say to me” Chanyeol asks.

“ indeed I am Mr Park. But he want me to say this only to you Mr Park. This is his demand” Mr Kim said.

“ what’s with the demand?! They’re going to divorce anyway! Does all the assets is not enough? He’s so greedy! I don’t know how you can marry someone like him Yeol. He’s-” Si Ah words was cut by Chanyeol.

“ enough Si Ah! I don’t like your attitude right now. Don’t talk bad about him.” Chanyeol said.

“ Chanyeol what?! You’re angry with me because of your ex husband?! How could you!” Si Ah cried. Chanyeol sigh.

“ Stop it Si Ah. I’m too tired to argue with you. Can you just.. go home right now? I’ll tell Mr Kang to fetch you at the lobby” Chanyeol said then he turn to his lawyer.

“ let’s talk inside Mr Kim” Chanyeol said, inviting the guy into his office.

“ sorry to make you wait Mr Kim. Let’s continue with our business. Did he sign it?” Chanyeol asks. He want Baekhyun to sign but deep inside his heart, he really doesn’t want Baekhyun to sign it. There’s part of him really love Baekhyun so much.

“ he doesn’t want to sign it” Mr Kim said. Chanyeol feel a bit relief from the news.

“ but he want me to tell you this.” Mr Kim said.

“ I’m sorry to interrupt you Mr Kim. Can you tell this to Chanyeol instead?” Baekhyun says.

“ go on”

“ I don’t want any of his money or the assets. Tell him to keep it by himself. If he want me to sign these papers, I want him to come here in person. Don’t send anyone again. I’ll tell him about something when he’s in front of me.” Baekhyun says.

“ but Mr Park already refuse to come here that’s why he send me here instead of im coming here meeting you” Mr Kim said.

“ I know but that’s my condition. I’m not asking for more Mr Kim. Please do respect my decision. I haven’t seen him for a year.” Baekhyun says in a low voice.

“ well then if that’s what you want I’ll inform this to Mr Park.” Mr kim said.

“ that’s what he say Mr Park” Mr Kim said. After the explanation Chanyeol felt like there’s a heavy stone just hit his head. Baekhyun want to hit him? He’s not mad? But why? He’s hurting himself.

“ that’s all Mr Park. If you need anything just call me.” The lawyer said.

“ oh and before I go, I think you should take this. I already eat a lot there ” Mr Kim take out something from his bag and place it on the table then excuse himself.

Chanyeol suddenly saw something familiar. His heart is beating so fast. He open the little container and reveal a very nice scent. The scent he love to smell the most. Baekhyun biscuits. He miss the homemade biscuits so much and it’s been so long since he last taste it. He take one and eat it, as expected the taste is indiscribeable and mostly, it feels like home. Chanyeol didn’t notice how much he had eaten the biscuits until there’s no left over in the container. The biscuits is warm and is made with full of love making Chanyeol tears suddenly drop.

Chapter 2

As Baekhyun want, Chanyeol took a day off from his work and went to see Baekhyun at his home. Practically it’s their home but he didn’t go back almost a 2 year and half. He arrived at the place and was welcomed with warm breeze. The birds are chirping soundly like they’ve been waiting for him to come home. It takes 2 hours to get there so since Chapter want to avoid the traffic jam, he wait till the noon and make his way to Baekhyun house. He look up and think the house is still the same. Not even one thing was changed. It’s him the only one who change.

As he stand in front of the door, he felt something familiar. He’s sweating, his leg wobble and his heart is racing. He’s nervous. To meet a person who he left for so many years and finally come back with just one goal he need to achieve , making Baekhyun sign the divorce paper. He’s hurting Baekhyun and at the same time he’s hurting himself too. He knocked the door twice and the door open reveal a girl in her late 20s wearing an apron greeting him respectfully.

“ you’re here Mr Park. Baekhyun has been waiting for you. Please come in” The girl says, opening the door widely for Chanyeol to come inside. Chanyeol step into the house as he look inside of the house, his expectations are gone.

Why don’t Baekhyun remove the picture on the wall? Why don’t he renovate this old house? Just why?

The house is still the same inside out. Again, he feels like a total stranger in the house even he’s in his own house.

“ I’ll call him for you” Nameun says as she walk up stairs to call Baekhyun who’s still busy writing his novel.

Chanyeol is more nervous than before. He’s meeting Baekhyun again after long time. He never thought him meeting Baekhyun would be this nervous? He calm himself by checking his phone even the phone is literally empty or Si Ah is being paranoid messaging him non stop from yesterday. He’ll reply it later when he has time. As time pass by, Chanyeol heard door clicked. It means Baekhyun is finally out from his room but he doesn’t want to care. He want to look at the smaller but he can’t.

“ Chanyeol” the voice call him. Chanyeol feels like there’s something forcing him to look at the smaller direction and now he can’t even move his gaze toward his husband.

Baekhyun is wearing casual shirt which is white tshirt and nude coloured cardigan with white loose trousers and his pitched black shining hair with his round glass complete his whole look. Chanyeol never thought Baekhyun would be this pretty even he’s wearing very simple shirt. He can’t move or avert his gaze on Baekhyun as the smaller walk down, he can feel his heart is beating even faster . It’s like their first encounter with each other at the campus 7 years ago. Chanyeol is back from his football training and suddenly saw a cute petite guy walking down from the stairs calmly with his cute round glass on his face while hugging his notebooks on his chest, he turn to Chanyeol and smiled as a sign of greeting and went away with Chanyeol heart in his palm. At that time Chanyeol couldn’t do anything but to stare at Baekhyun beauty because he’s shining like a star. That’s what Chanyeol thought on Baekhyun on their first met.

“ you came” the smaller said with a smile.

That smile.. that damn smile..

“ well uhh yeah..” Chanyeol said, scratching his head. But then Baekhyun look around.

“ you didn’t bring any shirts with you?” Baekhyun asks.

“ no. I was thinking to get this thing done and go back to Seoul. I want to settle this thing quick as possible” Chanyeol said without look at the smaller. He’s feeling guilty.

“ I know I know.. the divorce paper.. I’ll sign it later but I have few conditions for you before I sign those” Baekhyun said.

“ what is it? Mr Kim said you refuse the money I want to give it to you—”

“ calm down. Let’s have a seat first and we’ll discuss about this. Shall we?” Baekhyun say, not letting the taller to answer he take Chanyeol wrist making the taller shocked and follow the smaller like a puppy. All Chanyeol can see is the back of Baekhyun head as he get dragged to the garden and he can see Baekhyun already prepare everything for him. The scent of tea and biscuits, the perfect combination for evening tea. This remember him of the good old days where he and Baekhyun usually sit at the garden together talking about something nonesense while eating the biscuits.

“ have some.” Baekhyun says as he push a plate full of biscuits in it toward Chanyeol.

“ Baek I—”

“ stay here for a week” Baekhyun says out of nowhere making the taller surprise.

“ I’m sorry what?” Chanyeol asks again.

“ I said, stay here for a week with me Chanyeol. I’m not asking more” Baekhyun said while looking sipping the tea.

“ Baek you know I can’t. I have works and responsibilities there and...”

“ and what Chanyeol? All those years you’ve been working until you are... you right now.. is it still not enough?” Baekhyun said making Chanyeol paused. The smaller realise what he just say to Chanyeol then feel guilty all of sudden.

“ I’m sorry.. I didn’t mean to nag at you. I know who I am and I didn’t have any right to complaint about your life but I just don’t want to see you working too much Chanyeol. I know you’re a workaholic but please, take a minute to rest. Take a break. I don’t like to see you being tired. You look so lifeless ” Baekhyun says.

You’re my husband Baekhyun. You do have the right to nag at me.. why’d you have to say that...

Chanyeol thought.

“ I’m sorry and it’s just... haih, I don’t want to force you to stay here if you insist but I’m still with me decision Chanyeol. I’ll not sign the paper if you didn’t stay here. All I ask is only a week.” Baekhyun said looking straight at his garden.

“ but if you really want a divorce so badly, you can go leave the paper here and go back to Seoul today and tell Mr Kim to fetch the documents here.” Baekhyun stands up.

“ but before you leave, please enjoy the biscuits I made for you.. maybe you won’t taste it later...” Baekhyun excuse himself and went into the house leaving Chanyeol speechless.

How’d it turn out like this? Baekhyun why’re you torturing yourself? Why?

On the other side, Baekhyun who’s already in his room with door locked, crying his whole heart silently.

I’m sorry for being selfish Chanyeol.. I didn’t want us to be like this.. I only need one week Chanyeol then you can be free.. I’m so sorry for being selfish..

Baekhyun cried but suddenly he feel a sharp pain in his head. He couldn’t scream for Nameun help since Chanyeol is here.. he doesn’t want Chanyeol to find out about this thing. While holding his head, enduring the extremely pain, he take a bottle of pill inside his drawer and swallow the pills but the pain won’t go away. He start to cry silently until his world becomes dark.

Baekhyun is having hard time to find a seat in the library because its the exam month. He had to book it a day before if he want a spot there but he couldn’t find any time since he’s been so busy and his schedule is very hectic that he didn’t have time to eat. Skipping meals has become his things nowadays and him being poor is a thing too.

“ what an unlucky day!” Baekhyun sigh deeply.

He was about to find a chair again but his phone suddenly rang so he quickly went out from the library. Baekhyun look at the caller ID.

His boyfriend called.

' when did he change his name ?'

Baekhyun isn’t a romantic type, actually he doesn’t even know how to act romantic because Chanyeol is his first love and first boyfriend in his entire life while the taller not. Baekhyun is not used to things like this yet but Chanyeol is different. The taller keep flirting with him all day long even they’re together right now making him feel shy every moment they’re together . Let’s just say Baekhyun is romantically awkward..

“ oh Chanyeol-ssi.. do you need anything?” Baekhyun asks

“ not actually. I just miss you so much right now” Chanyeol said making the smaller blush and Baekhyun can clearly heard Chanyeol friend is teasing the taller making sounds.

“ shut the \*\*\*\* up you fucktard!” Chanyeol said to his friend, the smaller can’t do anything but just chuckled hearing his boyfriend getting annoyed by his friends behaviour.

“ Chanyeol-ssi” Baekhyun called.

“ yes dear?”

“ i miss you too” Baekhyun said, he’s shy.. extremely shy but he’s trying to be romantic for Chanyeol right now.

“ are you blushing right now?” Chanyeol ask from the other side.

“ no I did not” he lies.

“ where are you right now?” The taller ask.

“ hm? Me? I’m at the main library “ soon as he said that, Chanyeol suddenly cut the line making the smaller confused. He sigh and as soon as he turn around the taller suddenly stand in front of him making him startled a bit.

“ oh my!”

“ Chanyeol ssi? How can you... what... how?” Baekhyun is getting confused .

“ hye” Chanyeol smile showing his white teeth to the smaller.

“ hye again Chanyeol ssi” Baekhyun smiled.

“ oh that smile!” Chanyeol clench his heart. Baekhyun just smile enjoying his boyfriend being dramatic in front of him.

“ stop you’re making me shy!” Baekhyun hit Chanyeol arm lightly making the taller smile.

“ glad that I came!.. i get to see you blushing is really cute!!” the taller face and now Baekhyun face is red even more because of Chanyeol word.

“ Chanyeol I said warn me before you say anything like that!” The smaller said.

“ why should i? If i tell you you’ll be prepared and I’ll not get to see your blushing face!” Chanyeol said.

“ you’re frustrating me!” Baekhyun smack the taller chest.

“ and you’re making me fall for you even more” Chanyeol smiled happily while dragging the smaller away.

Baekhyun open his eyes slowly when he feel something wet on his forehead.

' chanyeol?'

His hope disappears when he sees Nameun is the one who’s busy taking care of him while sniffling. He smiled. At least someone care for him.

“ Nameun ah..” he called making the younger stops moving and look at him with teary eyes.

“ Baekhyun why don’t you call me.. I’m very shocked to see you lying down on the floor! I thought you were dead! You should’ve call me instead of enduring the pain alone!” Nameun said, crying.

“ hey lower your voice. He might hear you” Baekhyun says.

“ why do you care so much about him? Focus to yourself first” Nameun said.

“ Nameun we’ve talk about this.. you promise me” Baekhyun says in a weak voice.

“ I start to regret about the promise I made!” Nameun went out from the room just to found Chanyeol is standing in front of the door,listening to their conversations.

“ uhh I didn’t mean to eardrop you guys...” Chanyeol said as an excuse but receive a death glare from the girl before she go. Chanyeol turn to look at the weak body lying on the bed and go to him.

“ Baek are you okay?” Chanyeol asks

“ of course I did Chanyeol. Just a cold” Baekhyun said

“ it doesn’t look like it. Nameun seems mad”

“ ah.. she likes to be dramatic. She’s just a little protective toward me that’s why she’s mad but I’m totally fine” Baekhyun said trying to sound strong to the taller.

“ you think so?” Baekhyun nodded for the question.

“ Chanyeol, can we go somewhere later? I had a place in my mind..” Baekhyun said.

“ uhh right now?” The taller asks

“ no you idiot. Noon. I'm still sleepy right now maybe at 1?” And the taller nodded slowly. He’s about to go out from the room until Baekhyun calls him.

“ Chanyeol.” He turns around

“ yes?”

“ why are you still wearing your suit? You’ve wore it yesterday when you come here” he said

“ oh you see I didn’t expect you to make me stay here so I didn’t bring any clothes with me..” Chanyeol said but the latter smiled. Baekhyun gets up and went to his wardrobe.

“ did you forget? This place was your house too. Once.... but still, it’s your house.” Baekhyun took out some shirt and hand it to Chanyeol .

Why would he keep all these shirts?

“ okay now mister, go bath or we’re not going out today! I’m sensitive to smell and you know that! Go go go” Baekhyun said as he push the taller out of his room. He close the door and look at the mirror . He’s crying.

Chanyeol wore the shirt Baekhyun give him and look at himself in the mirror . it’s him but it felt different . He look like a guy from 7 years ago who's cheerful and happy 24/7 but he isn’t now. He change through the years and he did not notice that until he stand in front of the mirror looking at himself now.

Why would you keep this shirt with you Baek?

He thought to himself. Baekhyun could have thrown it years ago since he’s not here but the smaller didn’t . Chanyeol shake his head and went out from the room. The house is still the same the way he leaves it,he plan to take a walk around the neighbourhood for a while so he did. While walking around , he met his old neighbor Sehun and Luhan.

“ oh is that Chanyeol?” The small guy point at him. Chanyeol didn’t want to be rude so he greet them back.

“ hey man long time no see” Sehun said

“ yeah. You too” Chanyeol said

“ how’s Seoul?” Sehun asks

“ same. Busy. Heavy workloads” Chanyeol answer halfheartedly. He know Sehun and Luhan but he didn’t met them for years and it was awkward.

“ I thought you and Baekhyun already divorce?” Luhan suddenly said making him flinched a bit.

“ honey! That’s rude” Sehun said to his wife

“ what? I’m asking him the fact! He didn’t return here for years and all the neighbourhood is bad mouthing him!” Luhan said

“ huh? People are bad mouthing him?” Chanyeol asks

“ yeah well you didn’t return for years and people think you have an affair while working at Seoul leaving the poor Baekhyun alone and—“ before Luhan could continue his word, Sehun cut his wife talk and tell Luhan to get Vivi at their house and now only leave Sehun and Chanyeol standing there awkwardly

“ ay man sorry about him. You know his mouth.. but please don’t take it to the heart . He didn’t mean it” Sehun said

“ yeah”

“ how you doing man? You were out of contact and we all couldn’t reach you” Sehun said

“ sorry dude I’ve been so busy these years” Chanyeol said

“ yeah of course you did. It’s not easy to manage a big company right?” The taller nodded slowly .

“ listen. whatever happens, i got your back okay? Sorry couldn’t stay long. Luhan is waiting for me. Today is our 10th anniversary.” Sehun said happily .

“ wow. 10 already? Congrats man” Chanyeol said

“ thanks dude. Our love never change the way it is. I just love him so much”

“ Sehun “ Chanyeol called

“ yep?”

“ can I ask you something?” Chanyeol ask

“ sure”

“ how’d you manage to keep your love with Luhan for years? Don’t you ever feel bored? Or your love didn’t disappear?”

“ man I would never feel bored with Luhan. He’s the love of my life. I mean .. I know he’s the one when I met him for the first time. Arguing between couple is normal but it depends on how you handle it. If you make an effort ,it stays but if you don’t .. it’ll fade away.” Sehun said. Sehun word just like a knife that went through Chanyeol heart.

“ ey man. Wish I could stay a bit longer but I don’t want Luhan to wait for me. Gotta go. Bye” Sehun excuse himself and went away, leaving Chanyeol alone on the bench look at the sky.
